Thank you brother saint John. I'm praying for you and the rest of the saints nearly everyday that we be strengthened in our inner man with the spirit of the power of God's might with all humility and discretion and for us to be surrounded everywhere we go with holy, warring angels in Yeshua (Jesus) name. Glory be to the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world!!!

what "wonderful discoveries" are you talking about in the end? Did you found something that was not there from the the beginning? I see no point in this attempt to simplify, explain Bible verses in detail. Everything you have written down was there explicitly from the beginning. Without the need to structure it that way... I just.. don't..

I believe he is talking about finding a new understanding. This series is primarily to show people how to read and understand the text, there are obviously more ways, but how awesome and what a lost teaching to sit and show people such a skill. I think that many believers automatically assume everyone is at their level of knowledge, intimacy, and wisdom with God and so we assume everyone knows what we do. Yet, there are a mass majority of "Evangelical Christians" who do not consider the Bible the Word of God and Jesus as God. Because we overlook these basic foundations, under the assumption that everyone should know them, people get lost in the fray. The same goes with studying the Bible. This is a great tool to learn how to grow closer to God and to get believers comfortable being in the word more consistently.
      Grace and Peace.

Onkuty the Look at the Book series is primarily instructional. How does one read the Bible? How does the author put the text together? What does it mean, and what kind of beautiful treasure will God reveal to said learner in reading this way? What is "inherent" or "obvious" to you will not be obvious to those either starting out in gospel /epistle reading, or those who are not as well or deeply versed in language composition.

Eh, just don't reject the gospel or the authority of scripture and you can examine the scripture how you wish. I found this somewhat helpful

Your body belongs to you, and you alone, not some fanciful immortal hiding behind the fabric of time, who can’t be bothered to prove to his alleged creation that he even exists. Don’t let anyone try and gaslight you into thinking otherwise.
1st Corinthians 6:19-20 is nothing more than words on paper.

Paul never said flee from sexual immorality. the word Sex is a 14 century from Old French sexe or Latin sexus. Paul used the word πορνειαν that is porneian and it translate to prostitution.
If you read the scripture in the proper context Paul is tell us to flee from prostitution. Prostitution was a huge issue in his day and it was considered to be one of the most active sins everywhere he traveled.
How this became such a misunderstanding is beyond me, though i would think it has something to do with the way word meanings and dictionaries have changed over the centuries.
What is really sad is you have a million pastors teaching some of the Holy Scriptures incorrectly and that leaves many followers confused. The original King James version used the word fornication and that translates to whordom or whormonger citing from an old word book from the 1700"s.

This is true, but what is prostitution? It is a sexual immorality

    • @jeff35372

@@hecksnekinc.2750 Yet you have missed the point. The point is that the term (sexual immorality), or the meaning of it was not used in the original scripture. Transgressions involving physical intimate relations were called out by specific language.
If a believer in Christ wants to refer to prostitution, than call it what it is (prostitution). Teach it the way it was originally taught.
Referring to the term of (sexual immorality) is scripturally inaccurate. Though I'm sure that most American pastors don't care about scripter accuracy, just as long as people keep giving inaccurate teaching pastors money...
They will just keep leading people astray from original scripture interpretations!
