@Internetrando Well, hopefully, it becomes a reality because your voice is as smooth as cream. I would listen to the narrations all day, but I gotta work.
People feel iffy about the prequel but I ate them up in one sitting. It was fantastic how they explained the roots of...Everything really...I can't say enough. Great job by Jr. and the other guy ( sorry )😂
Same! I love it when fellow enjoyers of the prequels leave comments because we're kind of rare. lol I'm currently on book 3 The Battle of Corrin and I' really curious about the Butlers/Harkonnen storyline.
I really like The Buttlerian Jihad and The Battle of Corrin. The Machine Cruciade was not so good for me. But, was a good book. I am a big fan and I realy want to read all. Now i'm starting House Atreides.
So I am about to finish up the novel, just a quick question how many years pass in the novel? This break down has been great I feel like I missed a lot from the first half of the book, granted I am listening to it and I have also never read a Dune novel only saw the movies. I know I know I should read the Franks novel first.... but I am all about timelines and want to experience it that way first lolzzz
Surprisingly not much time passes. In Jihad we're already 1000 years into the reign of the machines on the synchronised worlds, and that's when we meet Vor at 20 years old. In book 2 Crusade he comments that he's nearly 60. His age is a pretty good guide. From book 1-3 is just over a century, which feels pretty short for the Dune universe, but I thought it was well-paced.
Thank you for your public service in havng to read this... se we do not! I enjoyed reading "Dune" and especially I enjoyed seeing "Dune" on my any occcastions in 1984, and the most recent version, but I found reading the other Herbert and Co book like jogging through quikc sand. it just drags one down in the crap pseudo science.... and I just gave up....
As wonderful as your other recaps. Just love the way you present. Keep on, keeping on.
I love, love, love your accent. I hope you're a professional audiobook narrator.
In my dreams! 🙂

@@InternetrandoI listened to this while working, good voice. Just keep narrating and posting and then you'll have a portfolio for audiobook reading

Good job. 👍🏽 thanks. I quite enjoyed the book.
Thank you for this! You’re not quite saying Agamemnon correctly but it’s a minor issue.
