Thanks Nick great job
Thanks for watching!
Hey Nick, thank you for your input, brother. I was researching a decent and not very expensive wide-angle lens since I already spent most of my money on a Sigma 18-35 mil cine, 50 mil, and a 85 mil. Your footage looks amazing, super sharp, and definitely has character.
Thanks a lot man. I have those other focal ranges covered too so I figured I'd try and help people out in the same boat. Looking forward to using the lens some more, cheers for watching
LOVE THE FOOTAGE MAN! Ok so not trying to be funny here. Please tell me that someone was behind the camera and they got up and walked. If you stare at the lower left section of the picture on the wall at 0:27 just in between the lit portion of that spot, you see a figure literally appear, get up and walks right. I'm a firm believer and my body reacted so just curious not trying to be weird here I promise. I initially came to tell you I know the shot at that time then noticed lol.
Man you scared me for a second there xD But yes you're right that's me moving about, you can see my shadow in the picture frame. That shot was on my tripod so that's certainly me walking about, you are right!
in planning to buy this lens as well to shoot for weddings.. looking forward to see your video results.. 😁😁😁
Hey! I actually ended up sending this lens back in favour of the 25mm 7Artisans instead. The 14 was just too wide for weddings and didn't have a place so I will make a video on the 25mm soon instead as that was great for bridal prep shots especilly. Thanks for watching
@nick_malone allright.. cool.. cause i was using 28 75mm tamron rxd and the 28 doesnt works well with my job, thats why im thinking about switching prime lens for wide angle.. might end up with viltrox 16mm.. 🤭
@@fracture7 I just found the 14 to be TOO wide to use anytime except for maybe a building shot but I wanted something for great wide angle shots with people in and 25 was great for that. What camera are you on? There are lots of 18 and 20mm options as well.
@@nick_malone im using fx3 atm, kind off felt in love with it, might get fx30 for second cam.. my target of wide lens is normally or tea ceremony as i shot mostly chinese wedding more often with tight spaces, especially reception time..
@@fracture7 Ah OK I see. I am on the FX30 myself now so I have the 25mm for the crop sensor. I can see what you mean about the Chinese weddings, I will report back to you with some footage from my 25mm soon.
