Hey everyone. There is an error in the sizing chapter 0:34. It's supposed to be a 25.8cm waist and I forgot to mention that with a 1.5mm bump on each side of the waist it's more like 25.5mm compared to other boards without a bump there.
Glad you enjoyed it James. I'm a little heavier and a size 10 boot but wanted the 154 for park/allmtn and she still rides like a champ. Beloved board in the quiver 🙏 ❤️
@@thegoodridesnow boot size 10.5. height: 5'10. weight was around 170 then? I think I was on a 158, might have been a '56, Id have to check my notes. I rode the 2024 as well the season before last. I test for a local shop in Michigan and had a couple other guys try it out, even a brand new rider. Everyone loved it.
Love the content to tide us over waiting for next season. Just curious, any plans to review next year’s BSOD? Put in a pre order and interested to hear some thoughts if you had a chance to ride it.
Many thanks. Yeah it's in the works but it barely changed. One minor but good thing is it has a better set back on board with a narrower stance width set all the way back. The rest of the ride is almost exactly the same.
It's close. 10-11 would be much better but it really depends on how hard you plan to carve, how steep the terrain you ride is and your stance angles. Not knowing your weight and height makes it hard to recommend anything just off of boot size though. Exactly the same shape and sizing as the Indoor Survival, but different core and camber profile. Looks like a much more approachable ride compared to the I.S. One thing, the 156cm waist width is 258mm, not 252, but obviously that includes the Death Grip.
Hi James, would this board be a good complement for my GNU. I want a second board to progress my buttering, switch riding and park riding? Thanks for the review! Nick

One of my favorites. Love this for small, Midwest hills. Oddly, I loved it in slush.
Good to hear and thanks for your take. What size did you ride? What's your boot size, weight and height?

I have this board and definitely the best do it all board, park, resort, and powder it can do everything. Just the graphics could be better

Thank you! I rented last year’s and loved so glad it hasn’t changed much :)
Looking forward to the video but no rush.
Hey! Would love to get this board but is it wide enough for a size 12 boot in the 160 model? Thx 🙏

Hi! Thanks for review!
How would you compare it to indoor survival in terms of butters? Is it on another level?
Much easier for sure but I like how the Indoor Survival has more pop near the tip and tail.

Ah shit! Fat thumbed that in sizing. Thanks for the heads up. With death grip its more like 25.5.

Nick
I mean GNU Hyper
Thanks for watching. Yeah it would be a good second board in the quiver if it fits your specs.
@@thegoodridesnow thank you for the quick reply!
Hi james, looking at the new one for 2025 but not sure what size to get. im 5'11 and 176lbs, would you recommend the 156 or 158?
