  • DIY HOW-TO REPLACE A FUEL FILTER ON ANY SCOOTER, MOPED, OR SMALL ENGINE. The only thing you need to know is if the filter is above the fuel pump or there is no fuel pump. You have to clamp the fuel line with vise grips or else to prevent spillage. InTylerable Productions

for the people that have fuel spilling everywhere, just put clamps or zip ties on the fuel line so it doesn't spill out, make sure you out a rag underneath so fuel doesn't get on the engine, this may cause it to ignite

@Tim de Waart there’s a little tab on zip ties that let you release them without cutting them

Would you happen to know how to change a fuel filter on a Manco Matrex Moped? Or even where it is located?

Any local motorcycle, scooter shop, small engine repair shop (lawn mowers etc.) or Wall mart, it doesn't have to be exactly the same just a similar size with the same sized "nipples" for the gas lines. Make sure to check the direction of the flow on the old filter before removing.

The link didn't work in the video so it's now in the description of my video.

The luggage box needs to be removed for access the fuel filter, change the same way as I did in the video with the kymco, they are all the same. Just make sure you note which direction the fuel filter is in (look for the arrows) before removal and install the new one flowing the same direction. There is a now a link in the video to a service manual for your bike. Fell free to ask if you have ANY questions.
