Dr. Rajani, what do you recommend? Is it better to target the deeper layer of fat in the jowls? Do Aesthetic injectors ever work with Kybella from inside of the mouth? Wouldn’t that help reach the deeper fat layer without risk of hitting a nerve?
Aren’t Chin implants also done from inside of the mouth?

Hi I was just wondering what size needle you use for kabelline in the body, like stomach and thighs . And how far do you inject it depth wise for those areas? Is it painfully deep?

Very informative. Will be adding Kybella to my practice. Have more questions though. Who is NOT a good client? I have clients who want it but they have fat below chin and ear to ear! Can we go that laterally? The company Merz is not providing inservice for this product so I am looking on line to find out what I can. Thanks

RINNOVA Medi Spa thank you. Allergan is the parent company. You can check with them. A formal training is a great idea to get the anatomical landmarks and avoid complications.
You can check out aesthetictrainingcenter.com also.
A private training would be best so you can get off label information.
Hope that helps and thank you.

melissa pintone this will often tighten skin.if there is no fat to treat then we use threads and possibly heating energy also to tighten. Threads work amazing for loose skin. If there is excessive skin then surgery is the better option.

during your consult your doctor will be able to assess your region to be treated and see in your case what/if there is a probability of that. I typically do not use it in a case where that may happen.

Why do some doctors draw lines down the nasolabial folds when doing kybella, what nerve etc are they trying to avoid hitting, the mandibular nerve? Also what other areas under the chin should be avoided cause I plan on getting kabelline done at home for a fraction of the cost and less side effects, a medically certified friend can do it for me. How much should be injected in each spot to notice more results, is .20 cc fine? Also can we use 1 ml needle 31G and 6 mm for abdomen and may also use the same needle type under the chin area is that fine? I am not sure why you prefer 3 cc or 3 ml. What do you recommend. I really appreciate it, please answer my questions thank you!

    • @rajanimdskincare
      @rajanimdskincare  4 роки тому +1

I would have a provider do it. Whatever suits you. The nasal folds do not provide useable info. Avoid the mm nerve. Take an aesthetics course, rn or doctor degree and anatomy will be included. You get 1 face. Saving $$ is not worth it but thats my opinion based on the side effects snd sorrows I see.

@@rajanimdskincare I am not doing it directly on my face. This is the first time trying kabelline (I have gotten kybella done before didnt like the bullfrog look) and I am only using it for the double chin area I wouldnt do it directly on my face though to risky. So is a 31g 3ml 6mm needle sufficient? I have a friend who is medically certified who can do it but she's been really busy and hasn't been answering my texts i need to get the right supplies before she does the injecting. People are going to do it regardless so wouldn't you want to give them the right information so they can be on the safe side.

R - a professional medical doctor cannot responsibly give you medical advice for at-home administration. I am an RN and I would never be able to give you this information in a professional capacity; my licensing, registration, ethics, and scope of practice prohibit it.
If you have someone certified to do this, they will either have access to or let you know the particular supplies that they prefer to work with. This is an art as much as (if not more than) a science, and getting the wrong equipment for your injector to use is like giving Monet fingerpaints and asking him to paint a masterpiece.
I have been following Dr. Rajani for awhile, and he gets these kinds of probing questions all the time. It is a frustrating aspect of being a medical professional that when people hear what you do they always want your opinion or advice. We are bound by a code of ethics that prohibits us from just throwing out medical advice, in part because not only can we be held legally accountable, but because we are in a caring profession, we also feel morally responsible what you choose to do with that advice.
Notice how he is careful to tell people he cannot evaluate them without seeing them? How when people ask him specific medical questions he tells them they need to go back to the person who evaluated them for or performed their procedure?
We who are interested in esthetic medicine are grateful for the information that he so generously gives, and we (all) need to understand that it will always be appropriately generalized.

Hi Dr, I got my kybella treatment 2 weeks ago and the swelling is not as much as it was before. I looked like a bullfrog for about a week 🤪 My question is the for the past 2-3 days now I have this strange muscle pain I don’t know if it’s coming from the side of my neck but it’s also felt in my jaw especially when I look towards the left and when I swallow at that point it hurts. Do you think it’s because of kybella? Also, that same day I got Botox in my masseters too. Please advise, thank you.
