Thank you so much for the video. I have to replace one of my ports, it just stopped working. Now I can do it!
Great, thank you for letting me know
Thank you for the video, easy and very good explanation.
Thank you very much :)
This was helpful thank you very much
His thing now says “blocked not charging” does this still work?
thanks, man, good explanation. never seen the magnets on the tiny screwdriver before. something you'd recommend?
going to try this repair for my mbp next week. seems like there is some corrosion on the left side of my usb-c and whenever i try to charge on that side, my whole computer slows down like crazy and CPU load is super high.
Thx, those screws are so small and so easy to lose, I find that using the magnet helps a lot :)
Thank you for the video. I will be doing this repair to replace the left side on my a1707 as they are not useable now. I assume you’d replace the usbC piece first?
Hi Paul, yes I would start with that first, just make sure your MacBook is fully backed up before doing anything!
I'm having trouble finding the appropriate screwdriver to remove the screw from the USB port (I have the P5 for the back cover). Which one are you using?
Im new in using macbook can i do this thing to fix my macbook? My charging port in my left side is not working and when i plug something in 2nd port my macbook automatically turned off
Hi thanks for the video, followed it and worked great. All 4 of my ports weren't working and now fixed. Unfortunately i pulled to hard on the battery connector and ripped the underneath part off. Laptop works but needs to be on charge. Any idea if it's possible to solder the battery connector back on?
It can be done but it's really not easy.
@@HamadBenaicha Thank you. I'm new to soldering but I will ask around and try and figure out the best way to do it. Worst case no biggie as the laptop is falling apart anyway.
Hello Hamad, i will like to message you can provide me with a means to do that?
