Now this strange, I grew up with The Baycity Rollers and never really liked them at the time, because I was so serious about music. And then Woody comes out with this little gem, that sounds like my life right now and I’m a total fan. Love this channel ✌️
I never liked them either, I know them because my little sister was a fan. However, over the years I've come to know a lot about them and really appreciate their music and now I'm a big fan!

I had a friend at school called Sharon who absolutely loved Woody. We had a school reunion about 6 years ago in our mid 50's and we were in hysterics recalling her Woody crush. I remember we all had the Once Upon a Star album. Even the album cover was so distinctive.
So awesome to see Woody on your channel again! And doing one of the new songs!! I've seen his new iteration of the Rollers live and they are fantastic. They put a really rockin' spin on the old songs. The lead singer has an amazing voice. I can't wait for their new album to come out. Like you guys said, their music always lifts my spirits. 😊

It's all about the songs and music. Keeping the music out there. The name alone is a well known phenomenon to what I recall of this band name. The global sensation happened solely due to the happy bouncy pop of the music from the band. The music was absolutely bouncing. Is what I remember of all the Lps they had out.

Funny, 20 years ago, someone who spoke in a Scottish accent would get subtitles on a show like Entertainment Tonight lol. Nice you are getting some of the original musicians to tell their stories. That adds another dimension to the reaction. Let's just hope the copyright police don't ruin all that effort.

My sister was a big Bay City Rollers fan. She and her friends would wear 'Roller Strollers' (the band's 'uniform' back in the day. They had a weekly TV show for a while ('Shang A Lang' I think it was called') and I didn't mind watching while those girls were screaming lol. I think my sister had a crush on Derek but the girl two doors down (who I had a crush on) loved Woody lol
And yeah - that new song doesn't sound that bad. Probably woulda gone #1 back in the 70s heyday.
