I just love these old blues men. They knew what it was all about. I try not to think about all of those gentlemen that have moved on to the other side. What a gift to all of us. So glad I had the opportunity to see them play at these Crossroads shows. They truly were the very heart and soul of the entire gig. Thank you so much Eric. Without you I would have never experienced anything like these guys.

He started the whole British Blues boom which re-exported Blues back big time back to America cos we had the young bands in the UK willing to gain a foothold and when you’re young why not. America had all the culture and archive and Blues survivors who had lapsed into quiet obscurity … what a pool for John Mayall to make ripples of. It was SUCH a time.!

John Mayer looks to be the youngest there, and the sweetest killa' there too. Love watching him do his thing that he does so well! Heck, I just love him. He was even a Master, the Man, and a King amongst Kings back then ❣🌟💎👑

I'd love to know who ALL the players are. I recognize John Mayer, Johnny Winter and Eric Clapton, but not anyone else. Of all my favorites, I replay this one the most. I just love it!! 😄💗
Whatever faults Clapton may have, settting up the Crossroads series was one thing I can certainly applaud hime for., over the years he managed to get some of the best avail musicians he could ,to participate, before they were gone. Hopefully this stuff can live for centuries to come.
