I love when he's going through the hands and suggests doing exactly what I would've done...
He had reasons I may not have gone so deep in thinking about.... so I definitely learned something there.... But yeah when when he's explaining what to do and you're thinking the same thing ur like YEAAAHHH!!!!

My thinking on this one is, yeah you've hit your top pair with a great kicker, but you should always play deceptively out the small blind. 1) You have to act first and because you've hit your K, you will play the turn and river thinking you have the best hand. 2) You're setting yourself up to be 3-bet by the opponent in position if you lead out, and again, because you have KQ, you're probably going to call down his 3-bet even when you shouldn't. Read into 'donk betting' when you act into the aggressor, I only learnt this today in the masterclass too. My opinion anyways Guy.

One thing I do which I think it really helps is classify players. In tournaments on GG they have colours you can make the box around the player. Real nits I put red. Players that have made really good money I make green and so on. If the player has a lot of money made on the site it’s obvious he knows what he is doing. I know these type players are less likely to donk off their tourn life with nothing. Anyhow, just what I do.

I ran into my garage on a tilt tantrum once, grabbed a wooden broom and bashed it into the ground. It splintered in half and 3 feet of broomstick was hanging from my chin. It was about an inch deep. What frightens me was thinking how easily it could of been my eye. Consider a tilt helmet with eye shield.

My credit cards have a built-in feature that they don't allow transactions with internet gambling sites. I guess that's probably a good thing, but I am often tempted to play. I didn't ask for this limitation - I guess some credit card companies have just had too many problems with those sites?

@Brilliant Idiot Most people play tons of bracelet events and have fewer bracelets than Danny. And he only has 5 bracelets but 2 World Poker Titles. He's one of the most winning cash game players of all time as well. He's certainly a great player and far from "average." Your average poker player mathematically loses money instead of wins. Only the top 30% of players are net positive, and only 18% of poker players win consistently. Of that 18% only a small fraction win at the best tables against the best players in the world at a consistent basis. There's a reason why D Negs is almost always moving into the top tables. He's in the top .01% of poker players in the world who make retirement levels of money off beating other players. There's just no way anyone could seriously call him average.

    • @johnnyhartley4330

@@renaldoawes2210 Renaldo, where on earth do you get your view "He's one of the most winning cash game players of all time as well." from? He hardly plays cash, and when he has played it on tv he lost heavily. He talks about winning over $42m in tournaments, but that does not take buy ins into account, for all you or anyone else knows he could be down on tournaments if he has spent more than $42m in entries. He has pretty much retired from poker, which he wouldnt do if he was the consistent winner you mistakenly think he is. He is a losing player, that is why he has stopped playing unless he is sponsored or can sell his action.

@@MK-13337 He hardly plays poker since Pokerstars stopped paying for his tournament entries, and if he plays he barely puts in any of his own money, as he sells his action. He has made his money from advertising and being sponsored by poker sites, not from actually playing poker.
