If it’s Canadian Geese you search, you should have stayed a while in Jacksonville, FL. These guys are all over our neighborhood ponds and yards and we only live a couple miles from the ICW. Love your videos, keep up the great work.
Thank you Scott! It was kind of surreal when the wildlife changes. No more dolphins, manatee, but it was very comforting to see the geese. (even though I know they are a bit messy) LOL. Thank you for joining us! :)
When we took delivery and move our boat to Wilmington 16:25 the swing bridge took a little bit to open bc we went there during rush hour. We had to get pretty close for our radio to make contact with operator, one of the many upgrades we had to do on the boat. Your wake was just fine.
Great video again it looks like a beautiful cruise. What magazines do you suggest getting to know when to be very cautious about your week going up the ICW. It is so interesting. Totally enjoying every video and glad to see ollie again, again, totally enjoying all the videos. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Fred! Most of the ICW data these days comes from social media sharing. We are in several groups that talk about shoaling and construction and closures. Boaters are a great community and look out for each other. Also BobsTracks is a website that has great ICW info. Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching!
I was just beginning to think maybe you’d packed Ollie up and shipped him home …but then, there he was! A brief glimpse of him going for a walk in North Myrtle Beach, carrying his toy (maybe his seagull?) in his mouth. At last! It’s nice to see him again in the videos - and, as always, fun to watch your progress. Kind of crappy that you are unable to keep from making a small wake even at lowest speed with that current …I would think that must be the case with a lot of the boats that go through there.
a very relaxing trip for me. You recovered well from not knowing where you were headed to ending up in a nice restaurant for dinner. I've had a lot of Monday mornings where I had no idea where I was going. More often now than ever! Looking forward to The Chesapeake! Be Safe!
once you get through north myrtle you his cherry grove and calabash and you are in NC. that is the home of calabash-style fried seafood by the way. you can get damaged eating around there. and there is nothing wrong with that wake at idle speed. and, hey!, you even pronounced "socastee" correctly. well done! the canadian geese - aka the canadian cobra chicken - are all over the golf courses in the MB area. they always make things interesting.
HAHA, We had quite the dry spell in Ollie footage! We didn't realize until Bob makes the videos. Hoping for more Ollie content in upcoming videos! It is now almost comical, as we preview the footage looking for him :) Thank you!
What impressive low country scenery! Darn shame the locals didn't cut y'all some slack on your mini-wake. Seems like houses and condos jammed up to the shore defeats the purpose of the ICW. Nice sunset to close out the day! Last video I'll watch for a few weeks...headed off grid to do some leaf peeping in the southern part of the Cherokee National Forest in east TN that didn't get hammered by Helene.
The worse people are those going a little over idle speed putting out the largest wake their boat can make and them thinking they're doing what they're suppose to be doing!
Kathy, it concerns me to see you on the bow of your moving boat without any sort of floatation device. Just one slip..... just be safe. I know, I know..... "Thanks, Dad". 😅
Very calming trip and as was stated before the wildlife area was beautiful ! Wonderful part of the trip!
We really appreciate calm, uneventful runs! It was such a beautiful area. Can't wait to get back down there :) Thank you for joining us!
Your wake is fine. Typical wind chop is greater than your wake.
Thank you for this Brad. We did struggle between us at times. I was more sensitive to it for sure lol.
Another quality video of your top notch adventures! Be well my friends!
Thank you so much for watching and supporting us! We appreciate you! :)
The wildlife refuge is gorgeous and stunning to motor through!
We love the wildlife refuge too! It is a beautiful stretch to cruise through! Thank you for joining us! :)
Very great relaxing ride through the refuge. It was nice to see a shout out to Canada Geese instead of a shout at. thankyou.
Thank you Darryl! We loved this area! The Canadian geese were a sweet reminder of being closer to home. Very comforting :)

Oh, the many upgrades!! LOL. I always worried more about our wake...But we tried to keep her in check! :)

HAHA, it has turned into a weekly game...wondering if we took any video of Ollie or not! Lesson learned for next trip :)
@@cruisingandromeda Sorta like “Where’s Waldo?” Only Ollie is cuter than Waldo. 😂
HAHAHA! :)
Thanks again guys...that was such a enjoyable cruise with great scenery...a pleasant cruise from my armchair. 🍻🍻🍻💙🦘🦘🦘
Thank you Mark! We really appreciate you sticking with us :)

Thank you Bobby! We really liked traveling with options! We were never disappointed. :)

Thank you so much! We are trying to get better at the pronunciation some of these towns / bridges etc. lol Thank you for noticing :)
Ok, I see your dog at the end of the episode....

You past by my house near the Socastee Bridge.
Very cool! What a beautiful spot to call home :) Thank you for joining us!
We have Canada geese here in North East TN year around, they hangout around ponds and the lakes of the TN river.
They were a welcome sight! Thank you for joining us :)
@@cruisingandromeda And thank you for posting your trip and adventures, I am enjoying the vids a lot!
Thank you so much for the support! We appreciate it :)
Been following your journey from the beginning. Enjoy the videos. What month was this video done?
Hello Steve! Thank you so much for sticking with us! This stretch was the end of April 2024. :)

Have a great trip! Michigan is just past our peak colors this weekend. Enjoy!! :)
Maybe I missed something, but I just realized I haven't seen your dog in quite a number of episodes;. I hope all is well......
The worse people are those going a little over idle speed putting out the largest wake their boat can make and them thinking they're doing what they're suppose to be doing!
Yes, we noticed a lot of variety in the way people observed the no wake zone lol. We just tried to keep ours in check. :)

Thank you David! You are right! As Dad's always are :)
