I'm about $4 million short if I sell my home, car, possessions and a kidney. But I'd do it to live in this home and neighborhood. I think it's worth every penny. I know very little about San Francisco but I've always loved the vibe and I think it's one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
I've been all over the United States, and San Francisco is the most beautiful city. The touristy parts have gone downhill over the last 20 years, but the rest of the city is as stunning as ever. My son lives in this general area, but down a little lower where the streets are level. They live on Sanchez, which is a slow street, and the neighborhood is amazing. On any given day, there are folks walking down the middle of the road, walking dogs, or pushing strollers. With the slow street, you don't have any through traffic, and people follow this rule for the most part. Their neighborhood on Sanchez is really laid back, and there's fantastic shops and food within walking distance.
Born & raised in SF... the house you showcase is lovely, & you do a great job, so enthusiastic! I believe I missed the security system - as this is in a transitional neighborhood & most definitely needs a security system. As you know - SF has become increasingly dangerous.
Thank you! As with all houses I've sold in this price point, it does have a security system. However, I don't think I've ever heard anyone say they felt unsafe in this neighborhood.
This home is so deceptively stunning! And so sf to not be showy, this ain’t LA 😂. Also love that you went in and talked to the chocolate shops owners he is so sweet didn’t know they were so famous!
Incredible!! It really looks like a lot of the homes i saw growing up in the city. So it has the same authentic city feel just modernized. I absolutely love it 😍 85degrees in the city is sweltering heat. there would be days when I would be at home in Westwood Highlands in the cold and fog and friends calling me in tank tops and skirts at Dolores park… the mirco climates are severe. Not me not knowing where Eureka valley is and I worked down the street on Church for years!! And I grew up in Bernal Heights 🤦🏽♀️ 😂😂 And I worked on 24th and Sanchez back when Pressed used to be Juice it. Good times. That flower shop was there then.
Yes, i say like a lot! I'm far from perfect! Progress over perfection is my motto! Hopefully I can get better over time AND/OR if there is a client who can't stand working with someone who says the world like, then perhaps it will give me a few hours of my life back and save me from wasting time on a client who needs a more polished agent:)
Beautiful home...the only thing I did not like was the back spiral staircase. It's not because of esthetics but more so because of age. I would have no problem toppling down the entire flight. Other than that gorgeous...
Shipping container was a brilliant idea and I agree there are a lot of cool features in this home…. BUT anyone willing to pay this much to live in a ruined city, and it is going to be a very long time before we can expect to see a flint of its luster returning. The cities political chairs are filled with corrupt individuals .
Keeping it real, Nov. 13, 2024: Yes, a very nice home. But, San Francisco, CA is one of the worst cities to live in, in the USA at the moment. Crime, crime, crime, drugs, vacant stores, rude rude people, etc. No way. You could not pay me to live in San Francisco and you could not even give me this house for free, nope. NO WAY. There are several current UA-cam videos discussing what I say. And, I have experienced myself also.
It's actually not about the house (or me). It's about what houses look like in a certain neighborhood at a certain price point and why people chose to live there.
@@livinginsanfranciscoca Thanks for the tour. The house is amazing! I loved the way you presented the area, the people, shops, and the home! I’m surprised at the not so kind comments. Keep up the great work and don’t be discouraged. I loved every moment of the tour and subscribed before it ended! Looking forward to seeing more videos to come! 🎉
@@WandafulWrldWide Awe thanks for the nice comment! You made my day! There are always haters. I try not to take it personally, but I agree it's always surprising to me that people go out of their way to be unkind. I try to remind myself they must be going through something and hopefully, they feel better soon:)
@ I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I consume several hours of content daily. Many of the creators have fortunately reached upwards of 800K and above subscribers. Many I began watching when their channels had very few viewers, but have since grown exponentially. Like your channel, the thing that attracted me most was how authentic and unique each of you felt. I laughed, Ooooh’d and ahhh’d, at many of the features highlighted in the homes or neighborhoods. The experience was as complete as one could hope for without being there in person. Your personality shone through beautifully! You have quick wit, a bit of perhaps, unintentional humor as you narrated the tour. Touring with you felt like hanging out with a friend who had something to show me and talk about. Being from Florida, making a few references to the 85 degree heat made me laugh out loud! Those are the things that make YOUR CHANNEL RELATABLE!! I have a friend who lives in Morin and another 3 who live elsewhere in SF. I shared your content with them after viewing in case they are interested. Thanks for taking us on a refreshingly lighthearted tour of a home built specifically by the homeowner, for a walk throughout the neighborhood, and an unexpected stop by the little chocolate shop. What a nice little surprise! It truly gave the audience a chance to “feel” the neighborhood. So glad the algorithm put you in my feed for the first time! I loved your content. Don’t stop; you’re onto something!! 🎉
Nice place to go to work; eh place to live in--a little too sterile/lacks character & style. My sister lives close to here (Noe) and her house is modern w/a better view and it's WARM in style/creative.
Interesting that you find it sterile! That is not a word I've heard used by the over 100 people who have toured the house over the past 10 days. I has more character and style than almost any home I've ever been in, but the style is not something that every one likes which is part of what makes it special. So many homes built in the area are built to appeal to everyone, which makes them pretty generic and boring. Its rare to get a home that someone built just for themselves.

This house is ALL killer no filler !!!
Gorgeous home! Absolutely epic. Outstanding features!! Cheers!! 🙂
I would use that bottom level as a guest suite that would double as a place for my kids when they come home for break from college.
Thank you for this video. Love how you explained everything about the house & the neighborhood. I truly enjoy watching the tour.
Thank you! I LOVE this home! AND THANK YOU for sharing our videos and always cheering us on!
SF is simply a beautiful city if you can live like this. Praying my home in heaven will be like this. 🙏🏾
With its Green Technology it just makes it so much cozier. ❤ love love
Wow!I'm eye-opening. I can't afford this house, but I love to watch your videos showing different neighborhoods.
Glad you like them! Thank you for watching!!!
This home is amazing!
New subscriber!
Yay! Thanks for watching and subscribing!
lol my old stomping grounds, 26th and Sanches retired now in Italy. 😂😂❤❤
Enjoy!!!
well done I watched it all- I even pulled the house up on maps.
Thank you for watching it all the way through! You get a gold star for sure! :)
I am so obsessed with that bathtub!
Same!!!

Nice home. I would not live in San Francisco. Not anymore.
This the opposite of a transitional SF neighborhood, but home security should be utilized everywhere in US.

That burger place is really good!
Really nice home the only thing missing is an elevator.
I'm not a fan of in-home elevators, but maybe in another 30 years, I'll feel differently!
I walk by the house everyday I think and it's beautiful I think it's in Noe Valley doesn't matter just checking.
It's technically in Eureka Valley, but it's right on the border of Noe, and being three blocks from 24th, you get the best of both worlds.
Wow, one new gorgeous house in sfo. Rare in sfo. There's lots of "like" in describing which I avoid hearing. Overall, sublime!

lovely
The only thing that I just couldn't live with is the yellow walls in the shipping container.
"Huge walk in pantry" slides door open "well"
LOL!
yeah, it wasn't as big as I remembered it, but honestly you rarely get a pantry in SF!
@livinginsanfranciscoca that's a $3,000 a month apartment in New York
Gorgeous home but only in my dreams.
What can you say about living on Castro Street ?
It's a great street! We've done several videos about the castro and the street.
what is the address

I don’t think it’ll sell at $8m without an elevator.
The home is beautiful BUT, girl, your stunningly gorgeous, dewey skin is the highlight in this home tour!
Oh my goodness! Thank you so very much! You just made my day! ;)
"imported from a napa barn" i dont think an hour drive counts as importing lol
Fair! Bad word choice:)

Yeah spirals are not the easiest, but they do save space!
lol that house prob sits empty. SF is so wild.

very nice, for a goldfish bowl. The next door neighbours can see in to the entire main floor, unless you draw curtains over the entire sliding doors.
Actually, they can't. Neighbors can see into the back yard, but no one can see into the house.
@@livinginsanfranciscoca whose windows are at 5:21 ? If not the neighbors, then my bad.
Beautiful house! Will get lots of exercise just by living there 😂. Not so sure about the tandem garage, but its understandable given its SF.
The. majority of lots are 25' wide in SF so large houses always have lots of levels. Typically you're getting 1000ish square feet per level
I'm guessing $5 million
Close. Listed for 6.1m
I don't like the front door as any crazy homeless person can walk right up to your front door

The house has no SF charm! All flash and belongs in LA. Hate it! Of course can’t afford it!
This is what San Francisco needs. It’s outdated Victorian shite has been dragged out far toooo long.
When she steps outside to go down to the container, you get exactly why San Francisco sucks😮. No privacy!!!
@petertousignant6566 just keep your drawers on when you go outside and youll be fine
