- How many blokes does it take to strip a Range Rover? Finally, the real work begins. We are ripping the body of John's rotten old Range Rover, it shouldn't take long, it's mostly rusted away already. The guys rally around to help with the task, but are they helping or hindering?

Ed China is an example of how a man can get back up and dust himself off after being knocked down. From the days of "have I got my tools back yet" to today, you're inspirational to me sir and I'm sure I'm not the only one
I second that he is definitely an inspiration I have learned so much from him thanks ed
Indeed. Can't add anything.
On his way to a million subscribers 👍
He’s in England. What the heck do you need an air conditioner for. Now heat would be good.
@@Bigrockets101 Drying out the air so it doesn't fog up the windscreen.
86% of all range rovers are still on the road, The other 14% made it home
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Needs some clarity on what you mean by "on the road".
I mean, are we going down to the atomic level here?
:)-
😂🤣❤
Lol
Whereas 86% of my range rover made it home and 14% is out on the road somewhere
If youre wondering what`s flashing at 22:26 there is text saying:
"It`s good to see so many cooks having a go at the broth. What an impressive arse-nal of tools and skills being thrown
at john`s rust rover. Mind you, Edd be careful you don`t get too stuck in!"
Good job guys! Nothing more fun than working on car with friends!
Obliged :-)
I came searching for exactly this. 🤣👍🏻
"crack on"!
In the same vein, I was looking for a possible "How many Brits does it take to change a light bulb" joke. Not wanting to get roasted, I gave up. You might have to be an American to get this...

I love this series, It is so great that Paul is part of the series and he can speak, seems he has a great sense of humour
And Paul is co-hosting now, especially the last frame that's wonderful
Lovely to see Paul taking a more visibly active part in the works than he seemed to have in Wheeler Dealers, and that is fantastic!!! :)
Paul is actually an acompllished mechanic in his own right... brewer was dead "weight" in wheeler dealers
I'm just happy to be watching a car video where everyone is older than me! Even if it's only by a few years!
@@scotttait2197 brewer is still dead weight but he must be a wheeler dealer of some sort to keep getting that damn show redone, with the latest schmuck to fall for the TV glitz!
So delighted to see Paul having a role on this channel. He makes a perfect (and very experienced) sidekick. This has become my favourite UA-cam channel. Good job Edd!
hear hear!
I think this is my favourite video! Bunch of blokes, laughing, joking, a wealth of experience… still winging it a little! Chatting, doing mechanics… drinking tea… eating snacks! I mean… it’s like my front garden when I was growing up with half a dozens uncles fixing up their bikes and cars! Edd… can I come over and make tea? I’ll bring pastries! 🙏🏼
A slightly different format, but hey, it really works. Great fun to see a group of mates working on a car, and not taking it too seriously. Reminds me of my youth in my dad's garage. Then off to the pub!
I'm assuming they've blown the tea budget for the series with all this help
This channel is getting better all the time. You have some very creative people helping you
Whay a lovely team 💕 thanks guys thanks !
Appreciate the strategic Blur... Thanks Edd ;) Another great video!
Edd what a great channel...you’re amazing with all that knowledge around you.Delighted to see and hear Paul. Many congratulations.☘️
Dear Edd, I wish you all the best with this. I was watching you 13 years now!!! Love from Greece🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷👏👏👏
Thanks 👍😊 Ed!! Great work..
I like a lot theese episodes with the old Range Rover.
It looks to be the pain in the ( beep).... but, you and your crew made looks like lotta easy work. Congrats !
Keep em comming Ed !
RESPECT !!
You’re channel is one of the best out there Ed! Just the guy’s in the workshop. Love the setting and atmosphere. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Fantastic video. Love the banter.
Really looking forward to see the body off.
Loved the chat and the trip down memory Lane!! Great video
Top work all! Great to see Paul getting involved with presenting too! 😎👍🏻
This was so great to watch. Had my tea and a few mince pies with cream.
Love the rover series. You are an absolute legend Edd China.
The music in this episode is absolutely perfect!!
Loved this episode, everyone working ,talking and addressing the camera was effortless, can tell this bunch really love their cars 👍🏻
The series has been shaping up nicely. Congrats on the great work, Edd and friends!
Love this episode. If Edd and the team don’t pick up even more backing, I’d be amazed. This is a brilliant opportunity!
Great team work and banter hope the knuckles survive 😂
Great episode Edd! Wonderful to see all the teamwork on such a big task, and I must say...WHAT A WONDERFUL LOOKING SHOP IN THE BACKGROUND!!! Well done!
Great video as always. You are the soul and Paul is much needed a little bit of pepper. It takes the videos to another level.
I think Paul has spoken more in this episode than in all the WD episodes put together.. wonderful! Glad he's back with you Edd, the A-team!
Brilliant group of guys! Paul is absolutely fantastic addition! Edd, champion as always 🚀
Edd and Paul back and better than ever!
This is the real moment I have been waiting for. The restoration of the Rover......Thanks EDD
Beautiful episode. Making memories.
Nice to see all this experienced guys working toghether
You see this is why we all love Edd. Really enjoy the educational side of the programne. Well done Edd and Paul
So glad to see Paul in this episode. I did say in one of Ed's videos that he did before this series that we needed to see Paul. Such a shame we didn't see much of him in Wheeler Dealers, despite him being so integral to that show.
@SOLID SNAKE SIMULATION 666 "owd aht your and".
I know how it is when there are "too many cooks in the kitchen" as it were but, this is a great collaboration of guys with the will to give a classic Land Rover a new lease on life.
Class as usual. These episodes are never long enough. Dam my impatience
Must be hours of editing required.
Thanks Edd! Love it! Like the new intro, although I miss the old 'song'
Agreed, old tune was more recognizable.
Nice job, Edd! Very enjoyable to watch.
Collective term for a group of mechanics, "A gossip of Mechanics" ? Excellent video as ever by Ed and the team
The owner of this Range Rover wasn't trying to break it, he was just testing its durability 😎👍 I mean, what else would bring all the fella's together for a build project? Smart man he is👍
Ok. Happy Gilmore. Lol
Possibly the best show on UA-cam,it feels like it should be on TV or Netflix. I still can't believe this isn't produced by a large TV company like Discovery. Amazing work, please keep it up
Best episode yet!
Along with Harry's Garage, Harry's Farm and Tyrells Classic Workshop, this channel is reaching heights of quality content which are light years ahead of the others. Superb, convivial and informative. I am so pleased. The very best of UA-cam 👍
Edd, whomever is in charge of doing the editing, is doing an amazing job! I say this because of the terrific and appropriate FUN Music! Also, I loved the new beginning! The old one with the industrial sound and camerawork was pretty irritating. Thanks for all the work team!
This is such a great series….takes me back to when I was a teenager mucking about and learning about cars……I would have loved to have been part of a team like this….👍👍👍👍👍
The Edd and Paul Show....doesn't get any better than this chaps!
The music was wonderful, not only different from the norm, but inventive, not regurgitated out of a machine. Best episode so far. Brilliant.
As an old Land Rover Series III 88 "(1980) and 109" (1977) owner, I love the videos with the classic Range Rover. I never got as far as a classic Range Rover because it was too expensive here in Norway (this was in the 80's). However, the long Land Rover had Rover's 2.6 liter straight six which was nice compared to the weak (though solid) 2.3 liter inline four in the 88". Both models had a safari roof, and spare wheels both on the back door and on the bonnet. The 88" had 7 seats and was an ex Danish military vehicle.
I cut my teeth on those Rover 6-pot engines. I had several in P5 cars and one in a swb Series I. They were easy to work on but they were engines of their time and I had to learn new tricks when I acquired my V8 127, which is mechanically the same as John's RR.
@edd China is the no BS youtuber, no gimmicks, no fuzz, no clickbaits just pure presentation of the love for cars
The star is back! Great to see the Range back. Favourite car on this channel and looking forward to seeing how this project progresses.
Very fun to watch. Excellent work, I always look forward to new videos!
I have to say, this is the best car show going right now - no need for TV deals when you can do whatever you like with such great guys.
Nice to see a group of friends 'mucking about' with the Rangie, having a laugh & getting things moving👍 Keep up the great work!
The best one yet Ed and Paul & co 👍
These weekly videos really make my Friday! Keep up the great work Edd and co.
Got to admit it was Edd that gave me confidence on working on cars never seen an engine till i was 21 My mum bought a Volvo 264 V6 engine Bosch K Jetronic 1990 had not got a clue how to change a tyre or spark plug etc .. read Haynes manual's for years this was before internet only by watching Edd on Wheeler Dealers that showed you how to thing's correctly did i learn eternally grateful to Edd thanks Buddy !!
This program is a proper car program, no back stories no extra stuff going on just good informative mechanics, how nice to hear guys who know there stuff chatting away everybody putting in there sixpenth, nice program Edd 👍👴🏻
Definitely one of the best episodes yet, very exciting to see what happens next.
I never actually saw a Range Rover body separated from the chassis. Looking forward to it! ;)
It’s amazing to see Paul and Ed
Absolutely brilliant , and you have removed that awful noise when the program started , well done guys
Has it really been 34 episodes? Nice work Edd. I have enjoyed every episode. Thank you for what you do, Edd. I have been loving your work since WD EP1. You have taught me a lot and given me the confidence to tackle some of the more challenging mechanical jobs I have had to do. Keep it up Edd.
The "table segment" felt sooooo cozy :)
Muchas gracias China por compartir muy educativos los vídeos.
Saludos desde Rosario al equipo 🇦🇷🧉
Great video! With all your pals working and taking active part in the making, giving them the oportunity to express themselves, especially Paul. So different to the other program where there was only one star, you second and nobody else taking part!
I look forward to the next episode. 👍👏
This is wonderful. Look at the amount of experience working on the Range Rover. Between all the guys there I bet there is well over 100 years of experience. Keep up the great work Edd and Paul.
I wish I had as many talented help in my garage as you do. I salute you Edd. Before I forget, welcome back Paul!
Brilliant episode and I'm only half way through. Bunch of older geezers with wealth of knowledge.
Thumbs up on the new intro. Today's episode strangely took me back to my boardroom days and reminded me of the 'types' of people in meetings and it was funny to see the ideas guys and the positives careering off and then Paul puts his size 9 in and reels you back to practicality and potential problems; I had a marketing director like that although he often turned out to be right!
All need someone to mention the real world problems ,when teams are careering ahead.
I have been in the building trade for over 40 years and I have witnessed many a builders crack. But this is my first mechanics crack. Ed always the first to bring new innovations to U Tube. Surprised no one used it for storage ie spanner or screwdriver, perfect fit.
I'm always interested in your videos Edd, but this one was phenomenal! I enjoyed it so much! Can't wait for more!
Stay safe all! :-)
Excellent job on this episode. What a fun team to work with.
Best episode yet, thank you lads
LOL... The more the merrier or what?... Fun episode Edd...
keep Paul you two work well together alot of car knowledge. congrats on your great show love it !
Loved the show Edd and your buddies, great bunch.
Much better intro, and great we have Paul back, show just gets better and better. Well done Ed!
Love this project, looking forward to what you’ll do!
Such a great Episode Edd, but the best part was listening to 5 gearheads of different generations and decades of experience talking around the lunch table. It can't get better than that fellows. What's not to like about your channel Edd. Much watch 4 sure. Cheers from this old retired coot living in Tennessee.💖 👍 🍻 ✌
Just loving this one. It's like an amalgamation of Last of The Summer Wine and Wheeler Dealers. 😁
I just can’t unsee that view now!
This is the best series ever, look at all those stars of mechanics, come round to mine and sort out my daughters i20
Great to see a group of guys working on a vehicle together without “TV” drama. Reminds of the days where I helped friends work on race cars.
Love it, so good to see so many knowledgeable old boys doing what they know best! This sort of collective knowledge is dying off in the "Classic Realm". As much as an alternative drive system is needed I do still love the Internal Combustion Engine, I fancy a Minor or an Anglia whilst we are still able before Net 2030!
it is cool since Paul is in your videos ! we where not used to hear him talking in wheeler dealers ! :)
Min 26:57: "It's good to see so many cooks having a go at the broth. What an impressive arse-nal of tools and skills being thrown at John's Rust Rover. Mind you, Edd be carefull you don't get too stuck in!"
That's great that we're going to get a special on Ansell gloves. Now if we could just get the same thing with XCP here in the US!
Edd: I've followed your show since you started it , and I think it's great. I must say, however that the addition of Paul makes it even better. Probably being in You Tube is great for you because of the creative control you have , but I for one would love to see you on TV in the States again. Good luck!
Paul walks In "Hello Mate" & someone else "where's me Pork Pie" says It all !!
This was another wonderful episode and I loved the group discussion and work. It reminded me of being home with friends. Can’t wait to see more with the rover.
FINALLYYYY 😂 I’ve been waiting for this one for a while now.
I had a 1972 Rangie in the eighties for 4 years. One refurbished steering box was the only thing that failed on it. In its day it was great on the motorway in the rain, as no spray issues to contend with, and a massive 11.5 mpg on a run!
Brilliant to see a plan come together with all that experience, keep up the great videos.
Brilliant!! Best one yet. Looking forward to the next episode.
Really enjoyed this episode! The sound really made it for me from the different microphones at once. It was really immersive, felt like I was in the garage too! Great work, glad to see the series ever growing in popularity 👏
I really liked the format of that episode. A group of fellas enjoying themselves with spanners, right up my street.
An engine bay full of mechanics is a wonderful sight. At least when I'm not footing the bill.
Dread to think the man hours of 4 mechanics on one vehicle..
3/4/500£ per hr????
