I like most things about the 2017 xle. However, sometimes the side corners of the front and back windows block the driver's view. I've almost hit people crossing the street s different times while turning to take a left turn at a busy intersection without a traffic light. Toyota needs to do something about the width of the window trim. Another thing I don't like about the Toyota is that it is hard to park due to the front angle of the hood. It is hard to know how close you are to another car or curb. This is a long vehicle and you don't want your ass hanging out in the parking lot. There needs to be a parking sensor for the front of the vehicle. I do love the back up camera and sensor!!! Finally, Toyota needs to give a video for all their new vehicles to help owners learn all the features. The manuals are necessary but a video would be very convenient!!!!
Car Confections very professional thanks for your research and hard work! Do you know if the Limited is available in front wheel drive? Or AWD standard
Toyota is not worried about any competition cause Toyota will run still like brand new in 2050 and Chrysler will break with in 5 years 😂😂😂😂😂😂 that's my personal experience on having a American car..
Thank you Sir for your video. This demonstration is very useful for a 2018 Sienna models, for very little changed. Again, thank you Sir for your honest effort(s).
HUGE remote unit for the doors ... at 1:43 ... That's okay for a lady's purse but most guys like something small enough to fit in their front pocket. Maybe they also give you a smaller more compact size door clicker remote but I doubt it. Great review on a nice van.
Excellent review my question is why don't u guys ever say the prices for each trim that would be good..so when you go shopping for one you know how much you'll be looking to spend...just a suggestion...
+Jonathan Maldonado We always put the trim prices and the pricing breakdown of the actual unit we reviewed at the end of the video. You can also find it in the video description. Thanks for watching!
As usual AWESOME VIDEO REVIEW, guys!!! Are you going to do video on 2018 Sienna models? And if it’s not too hard for you, guys-can you cover, please, what’s the difference between those trims? Like for example: Sienna XLE AWD and Sienna Limited AWD. Would be GREAT!!! Your videos are the best and very detailed. Keep up great job you guys are doing!!!!
Arghhh, We still have our 1999 Sienna. I have given up waiting for a hybrid Sienna. Now trying to decide if we should wait for the better safety features on the 2018 or take the nicer looking grill on the 2017.
great van, just bought my first 2017 LE version and its a sweet machine! super comfortable, eco mode for good gas mileage and 300HP if needed...love it but I am sure Toyota should offer a 4 cyl. hybrid version like you'd find under the hood of the Highlander, not everyone carries their entire family and a smaller block would be good.
Neither the SE or SE Premium can have parking sensors (the XLE Premium has rear sensors, and the Limited's have front and rear sensors). SE Premium adds chrome door handles with smart access, moonroof, blind spot monitoring, push button ignition and Blu-ray entertainment system over regular SE. Thanks for watching!
Car Confections Thanks for the quick reply and the info. Sucks cause i like the SE Premium but I need the sensor also and I dont like the ash interior of the XLE Premium.
I still like my 2005 chrysler town and country and now that they have the pacifica that is sexy for a minivan too bad my kids are almost fully grown so no more minivans for me . and don't get me wrong i like the toyota i also own a lexus suv as well but i prefer the Chrysler anyday and as long as you change the oil on time any car will never die. It's called taking good care of your vehicle.
Hi Yasmin! Thanks for the kind words! We do talk about parking sensors in some of our more recent videos. This video is over a year old, and we definitely have made a lot of improvements since then :) Thanks for watching!
The second row foot rests are still standard on the Sienna Limited and Limited Premium. The model shown in this video was an XLE Premium (which is why it didn't have the foot rests). Thanks!
Wait,so you're telling me that there is NO WAY that I can get the blind spot monitoring system if if I get the SE? What if I get the SE Premium? (Please forgive me if these are dumb questions,as I know NOTHING about cars).
These are not dumb questions. There are so many trim levels it can be confusing! To clarify, blind spot monitoring come STANDARD on the SE Premium, XLE, XLE Premium, Limited and Limited Premium.
The Siennas I have had in the past had a spare tire underneath the passenger side slidder mid floor area which you lowered by turning a nut in the floor. I have read elsewhere that the AWD has run flat tires instead of a spare and wondered if the FWD still had a spare.
+CarConfections oh, well thanks for confirming that and the great video. Maybe the rear drive is not designed to accommodate unmatched wheel sizes. I don't know. I'm looking at the 2017 XLE and, to get it in red, I have to buy the Navigation system. Go figure.
Transmission on the 2017 is garbage. Do your research, as there are forums online dedicated to the 2017 Sienna/Highlander transmission. I’ve had mine for a year and a half, and it’s very unpleasant to drive.
iv been buying Toyota Sienas for the last 15 years and nover had any problems -none-i just like the new models every 5 years or so 100% the best
Make yourself desistion.
My 2000 sienna xle has over 300,000 miles never been to repair shop .

T'hanks to your video, I am upgrading to the 2017 Friday, January 5th, 2018. Thanks for great comparison information on all trims.
I have a 2016. Beautiful van, many features.
I love this video we’re they give full detail on all the trims
Thanks!
wow this was very helpful. I really like the sienna because of this review.
+Akbar Chillin Thanks! We are glad you liked it!
Best review I have seen for any vehicle, ever!
Great, thank you!
I had the van for months before I realized that the space above the glove box was yet another glove box, LOL
You're right 😂😂
Car Confections very professional thanks for your research and hard work!

Actually 2017,18 and 19 Crystlers have so many issues including engine stalls, so it didn't take 5 years.
We owned a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan for several years. Problem after problem after problem. We then traded it on a slightly used 2017 Sienna.
Thank you Sir for your video. This demonstration is very useful for a 2018 Sienna models, for very little changed.
Again, thank you Sir for your honest effort(s).
+Oscar Lechuga You are welcome! We will also film a 2018 Sienna when they start arriving at dealers!

Key FOB is the same size for the Toyota Tacoma (we have one of each).
Excellent Review!
Great review. Thank you
great consumer oriented review. Thanks for your effort!

We appreciate that! And we are hoping to have an '18 Sienna very soon (in the next week or so)! We will give it the full trim rundown like always!
Car Confections thank you, guys!
This is still a good minivan for me to buy.
Arghhh, We still have our 1999 Sienna. I have given up waiting for a hybrid Sienna. Now trying to decide if we should wait for the better safety features on the 2018 or take the nicer looking grill on the 2017.
Great video!!! Do all rows on 2017 SE premium have leather?

I LIKE THE 2017 TOYOTA SIENNA XLE NOW.
très bonne explication aucun vendeur ne peux expliquer comme vous. merci beaucoup
Great review. Does the LE model come Standard with Auto High Beam Headlights?
Can I return my toyota sienna van used 2017 after finding out it is not 72 payment but 83 payment.and they lied to me.?
What is the music in the beginning?
Wow, the exhaust does not sound like a minivan's
Great video of 2017 Sienna :).
+dcpc08161992 Thank you!
Sold at: it can split the screen to play two things at once!
Does the SE or the SE Premium come with the parking sensor? Also what is the difference between SE and SE Premium? Thanks and great video

Car Confections o
Great review!
Thanks!
AWD Sienna's kill rear tires. Inners Won't last 20k miles. Just be aware of that.
J Lo Why???
My tires are still looking pretty good after 26k.

Great review.
Thanks!
Great video, but you should talk about the front and back sonar if it has them.
Hi Yasmin! Thanks for the kind words! We do talk about parking sensors in some of our more recent videos. This video is over a year old, and we definitely have made a lot of improvements since then :) Thanks for watching!
at 12:30, you point out a USB port...but it actually looks like an HDMI port. Can you confirm? Other reviewers claim its an HDMI input.
That is an HDMI. I just couldn't see it very well when I was filming. Sorry for any confusion!
Thank you very helpful
+Morgan Allen Glad you liked it!
What happened to the foot rest on the second row seats that the 2011 Sienna had on the LTD?
The second row foot rests are still standard on the Sienna Limited and Limited Premium. The model shown in this video was an XLE Premium (which is why it didn't have the foot rests). Thanks!

CarConfections Hey,thank you SO much :)
Spare tire? Towing options with AWD?
+Dp ky There is no spare tire because the third row seats fold flat.
The Siennas I have had in the past had a spare tire underneath the passenger side slidder mid floor area which you lowered by turning a nut in the floor. I have read elsewhere that the AWD has run flat tires instead of a spare and wondered if the FWD still had a spare.
I just looked this up and you are right. The FWD has a temporary spare tire but the AWD does not. I was confused since we had the AWD model.
+CarConfections oh, well thanks for confirming that and the great video. Maybe the rear drive is not designed to accommodate unmatched wheel sizes. I don't know. I'm looking at the 2017 XLE and, to get it in red, I have to buy the Navigation system. Go figure.
Does the sienna se model come in all wheel drive?
No its front wheel drive only for the SE trim.
Does second row offer recliner seat?
Yes
Sad but True........
Planned Obsolescence!!

We have one too and the transmission is why I hate it, horrible design.
What’s wrong?
Ugh that interior, my mom has the 2011 xle and its sooooo much better
you wished. the interior the new one sexier.
What would a good price be for a 2007? L x e with a hundred and fifteen thousand miles
Seventeen
nice review. can those. mid section seats come out if i need the full back?
+Dom Yes they can. But you have to store them somewhere outside of the vehicle. Thanks for watching!
fantastic review. Thank you
Great review. Thanks a bunch.
