Loved what she said about Sofia Coppola essentially changing her life by letting her know that's she's a beautiful human being. Goes to show how much kindness and care can impact other people's lives, I think oftentimes without the other person knowing.

How did she make her feel pretty also, when she was already a child model and had the entire world calling her beautiful, being treated like a princess on a movie set with A-list co-stars??
She was “set for life” in that regard long before the next movie.
And to call a physically attractive person beautiful is not kindness..it’s just making an observation and feeding their ego to boot.
Telling an unattractive person the same thing would not be kindness either, it would be a condescending lie.

    • @bibinoojen

@@lukasribin4168 Kirsten Dunst doesn't fit the typical Hollywood/supermodel beauty standards. She has unique features and I interpreted what she said to mean that Sofia made her feel beautiful BECAUSE of her quirks as opposed to in spite of them. Also, not everyone who is considered 'beautiful' has a huge ego, and giving compliments (as long as they're genuine and not creepy) is, in general, a kindness. You could easily make someone's day with a compliment.

"Little Women" will always be one of my favorite movies of all time. There's nothing that compares with the warmth and love in that movie. The only thing I don't like about it is when Kirsten Dunst is changed for the older actress. She did a good job as well, but Kirsten brought so much more charm and vivacity to the character.
