Natalie Portman is such a legend and her performance in Black Swan is one of the best performances i have seen in a film of our time
@@Realsagarbhat that’s mostly incorrect. There are 139 dance shots in the film. Of those, 111 are Natalie Portman untouched. So 80% of the film is Natalie actually dancing
😂😂😂😂
@@Realsagarbhat That is neither fun or a fact.
Natalie Portman is the best actress of all time 💖✨🤩🥰
Totally agree 💖
I absolutely love her trajectory as an actor. She is always picking incredibly interesting and unique roles. Her range is astounding. Bravo Natalie!
She honestly picks some really tortured characters to play.
Nonsense. She's just beautiful and always has been. Acting is just being someone that other people want to watch do things, or listen to them say things. Typically they are gorgeous, but sometimes they are just odd or interesting. Like Steve Buscemi or Paul Giamatti.
@@Esteem_Boat_Willy Of course looks play a role in your success in the industry, but it's a shame you can't see past that and recognize her talent. I hope you don't view people like that in your real life.
@@extrashotofespresso_ Well, Padmé was tortured by the end.
I loved her as Padme! I hope she knows how crucial she is to the Star Wars universe! Her outfits and hairstyles were always so stunning
Her performance in "Leon: The Professional", is iconic and the film is a masterpiece.
Star Wars are the best masterpieces ever made 🥰💖💥✨🤩✨🥰😍
Amazing Movie
Love that movie! Just re watched it earlier
@@natalieportmanfan1817 You are on this greatest hits of her films, but we do NOT grant you the rank of Masterpiece😒
@@tylergalvez5033
Star Wars are the best greatest masterpieces of all time, there's no better and there never will be.
V for Vendetta and Black Swan are absolutely incredible.
Legendary movies
Star Wars are the best movies ever made 🤩💥💖🥰😍✨
and Love and Blunder is one of the worst movies I have ever seen
Thank-you, I conceived the first and developed both stories.
Yes, but leon, especially considering her age, was absolutely great.
She's an extremely talented actress. Even the films I didn't like, I felt like she did a great job. She's always in character and so believable. A natural acting talent.
I hope people who criticise her for Padme see other films she's been in and realise it was the writing. She's always been amazing
Annihilation is one my favorite movies Ive ever watched with my family. It sparked such a fun discussion among us, Ill never forget it
Definitely unique in that class of super deep, layered films with the potential to spark inner discovery. I'm always on the lookout for movies where the characters are chasing the answers to those huge questions
I had an anxiety attack watching it. lol thats only happened one other time. Requiem for a Dream. haha
You should really check out Stalker (1979) Dir. Andrei Tarkovsky.
Star Wars are the best movies ever made 💖🥰💥✨😍💥🤩
My son & I loved it as well, that part where she's looking into the mandelbulb thing was amazing
When I first saw Natalie Portman as Padme, I instantly had a crush on her.
that's so real
You me and a million other people
You and me both brother, you and me both
🥰💖💥😍✨🤩
I think literally every straight teenage male had a crush on her...
One of my favorite Rappers out there.
😂
What chu want Natalie?!?
She needs to host snl again soon so we can get a natalie’s rap 3
Made me cackle 😂😂😂
Portman! Portman! Portman! Portman!
Had a crush on her as Padme in episode 1, but then seeing her in episode 2 (especially that ripped outfit) had my mouth dropping
🤩✨💖🥰✨💖
The black sleeveless dress at the fire place 😍
I love how she has no idea that Padme was absolutely, 100% considered to be the one who attacks Anakin with a knife, and you can read and see some concept art of this particular moment.
WE NEED NATALIE AND HAYDEN TO REUNITE FOR A STAR WARS SPINOFF OR SMTH😭
I need about 15 more minutes of JUST Black Swan, and at least a couple minutes of Closer. Her two best performances (or maybe three with Jackie).
Yeah, I was expecting to see her talk about Closer, they put the terrible “Love and Thunder”, and not Close ugh
That scene with Natalie & Ashley on the front porch just brings tears to my eyes no matter how many times I watch it ❤
I appreciate Vanity Fair for including Where the Heart Is! I love that movie and feel like it isn’t talked about much. I’ve been a fan of hers since I was 4 after seeing the Star Wars The Phantom Menace. Her acting range is incredible.
Same! Its still one of my favorite "comfort movies" to go to. You should read the book as well!! ❤
Same, i watched WTHI only recently, and i loved it, and has become of my favorite !! .
I wish they did anywhere but here with Susan Sarandon
This should be an hour long
🙌🏽🙌🏽
Literally
Natalie Portman is awesome in Leon, Cold Mountain, Closer, V for Vendetta, Black Swan, Jackie, Annihilation, & May December!
and Star Wars of course 🤩✨🥰💖
Natalie Portman is a brilliant actress. Her performance in Leon, is one of the best performances at that age- all time. Should have been nominated for it. Kind of surprised it was, not mentioned, or Jackie, which she did get an Oscar nomination for.
What a beauty, she’s aging fine. Loved every bits of her performance. ❤
Elegant, graceful, fierce, cerebral, modest, and yet so down to earth, human, and outrageously hilarious when she wants to be; truly, never will there ever be another.
🖤
How are you gonna have a retrospective on Natalie Portman's career & not mention Garden State or Leon once?
Preach!
She’s so beautiful and she’s a fantastic actress.
❤❤❤
She was awesome as Lady Thor
I gotta rewatch V for Vendetta again, forgot literally everything other than it was awesome lol
Natalie=worldwide treasure
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@sarahrean7174 You've been commenting this same laughing emoji string on a lot of comments. You must be really jealous of this woman to be so invested.
@@sarahrean7174Beyonce and Nicki def aren’t. Natalie is tho
@@Progger11 because it is a overstatement to say that, she's an ok actress
Such a great career! I think my favourite performance of hers is in "Closer". Absolutely crushes me every time.
Alice Ayres🥺
I made my husband watch that movie and he was clutching himself in the intense scenes lol
✨heaven✨
Greatest actress. Love her and her movies. So beautiful and such a talented and well rounded human being
😍✨💥💖🤩🥰
She is always a different person which is what a true actress accomplishes. Being convincing is one thing but being someone else is another. 😊
Natalie Portman should have won the Oscar for Jackie
Natalie is such an amazing actress. She's done some great sci-fi films, not just the Prequel Trilogy, but also V for Vendetta and the Thor films.
V for Vendetta by far my favorite movie she stars in. That movie is a classic DC flick.
Star Wars are the best movies ever made 💖✨🤩🥰💖
LOVED HER IN BLACK SWAN
i love how she talks about her female colleagues and friends, so lovely
V for Vendetta and Black Swan are my favorite. She is one phenomenal actress.
V for Vendetta is one of my most favourite movies. She’s amazing in it
She has a beautiful perspective on her craft and the world
V for Vendetta stands with Fight Club as what I think are the 2 most important cinematic social commentaries that would NEVER have been allowed to be made in our current state of cultural unrest.
I'm an "80's Kid" (81), & I've Crushed on Her Ever Since "TheProfessional" Aired on HBO in TheEarly/Mid 90's.
My favorite actor/actress rewatch video, shes truly a legend
A shame she didn't talk about 'The Professional', the film that essentially started her career... but there's probably a decent chance she doesn't have the best memories of Besson either.
The film is canceled, in every sense of the word. No matter how iconic, well made and heartfelt it is, they are just going to act like it never happened. Sad.
@@gurukutungumokotochongo8057 I don't think it's the case, they still talk about it. It's just it's the most talked about film in her career, so maybe they wanted to focus on something else and not what is asked in every other interview
She looks so beautiful in this interview. Absolutely stunning
Should have included Garden State or The Professional
Yes! And Closer 🙂
There really is before Jackie Natalie Portmans voice and after Jackie Natalie Portman's voice. Every time I hear Natalie speak now I can hear the Jackie influence.
Surprised to see her talk about Jackie!!! Love that movie. Very moving and underrated
No mention of Leon? I always thought that was her break out performance. Maybe it wasn't as big a movie as i'd remembered.
It totally is a big deal! but i think they condense these a lot. I was also waiting for Garden state
Leon's a masterpiece, but Natalie's progressive politics probably means she doesn't want to risk talking about its 'challenging' content.
I love Natalie and her films.
Natalie portman is an amazing actress, i loves all her performances that i've seen of her. So beautiful also!
Annihilation is SO brilliant!✨
Leon and V For Vendetta are major classics
Natalie ❤️❤️❤️elegance and class
❤❤❤❤
I'm glad they included Where the Heart Is, such an emotional movie and a great performance
So many great movies she has been a part of. V for Vendetta being my favorite!
The way Natalie Portman had her eyebrows trimmed in the 2000s movies inspired me to do the same. Always a straight block.
The way she articulates 🤌
VOX LUX should have been included. Such an important film and one of Natalie's finest, funniest, and saddest performances.
Matilda: The Professional
that Sequel-movie would be great.
YES!!!!
Love her since I saw her as Queen Amidala in episode 1 she's an amazing actress and so smart!!! she's incredible!!! and has amazing roles to back her
Natalie is the best!!
🥰💖💥😍✨🤩
“V for Vendetta” , “Where the heart is” 👍😍👍
Star Wars 💥😍💖🥰🤩✨
She's such an incredible actress. She's also been my number one crush since I was 15.
I’ve always liked Where The Heart Is. I never hear any praise for the movie though, I like that they added it here.
Natalie Portman is a legend, she's angel, queen and goddess 💥💖🥰😍✨🤩 She's the BEST !!!! 💥💖😍👍👍
I just re-watched Black Swan on UA-cam, Great performance by her of course but I have to be in a certain head space to watch that mind fu*$ of a movie.
I love Natalie Portman.
Beautiful, 😍 down to earth, kind and smart too.
She had a nearly 15 year run that anyone could admire. It's very rare.
Which 15 years are you referring to? She’s been acting so much longer than that
nearly 15? She's been actively acting since 2023, that's 30 years
A LIVING LEGEND!!! 🤩😎
4:27 that's it! bravo! I always say this, it's amazing how many actors complain of green screen. Actors in a theater stage mostly use their imagination, this is the same! Is not that part of being an actor?
Where is Leon?
Please don't forget Vox Lux, Celeste is amazing!
I LOVE WHEN NATALIE PORTMAN
❤❤
Greatest actress of all time! Her performance in “the Professional” and black Swan are simply second to none.
I had a major crush on her as Padme in AOTC
I hear you sis😌
amazingly talented actor!! she's a true star!
❤❤❤❤
This is a Joy. Love Natalie. Sense The Professional. ❤
this woman is just big brain, thats why she was great in these movies, she delivered
I LOVE Black Swan. The first time I saw it I remember loving Natalie Portman even more than I already did. I thought she was so cool ever since The Professional.
aww they should of did leon the professional and ask her when will we see her as the adult Mathilda
I remember seeing the professional and thinking she’s beautiful at 11 and a great actress ! She’ll be a star
She is my favorite actress that is so classy and lovely!
black swan and jackie are two of my favorite movies. love natalie
She did Jackie Kennedy spot on
V for Vendetta is such a sneaky great movie. An all time favorite of mine.
Wish they would have discussed Garden State
I was blown away by Natalie's performance in "Jackie".
Not only is she an INCREDIBLE actress, but look at how much she uplifts all her peers as well! Ugh love to see it, she's truly an icon.
She’s beautiful ❤
To this day, garden state is one of my favorites❤
LEGENDARY ICON!!! LOVE HER!!!
She’s such a smart, talented person. Fantastic actress too. ❤
I just rewatched v for vendetta
One of Portman’s best
She pulls off an English accent well
Amazing actress ❤
❤❤❤
ahhh my third crush since the start
NP is a great actress ❤❤❤❤. And I love her in the perfume commercials.
NATALIE IS A GREAT ACTRESS!
The three movies with her that I liked were the Phantom Menace, Mars Attacks and Her Highness.
For me Star Wars ended after the Phantom Menace. Just like the Matrix ended after the first part.
Always look on the light side of Star Wars...
Star Wars are the best movies ever made 🥰🤩✨💖 Natalie Portman was just perfect as queen senator Padme Amidala in The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith 😍💥💖
You can't end Star Wars with one of three PREQUELS! Also, Revenge of the Sith is a masterpiece, a true, epic tragedy. And her role is essential to it.
@@skycat04
I totally agree, the Star Wars prequels are masterpieces .
ended after the phantom menace? that's the worst one of the prequels too lol
@@battlesadge5433
Nah . there's no worse Star Wars prequels, the Star Wars prequels are amazing, they're the best movies I've ever seen in my life, in order of preference I'd put Revenge of the Sith, Attack of the Clones, The Phantom Menace, Return of the Jedi, Empire Strikes Back, A New Hope, Rogue One and the last trilogy doesn't exist .
I love you Nathalie❤❤
She’s insane in May December… I think I’m in love with her
i called “where the heart is” “the walmart baby” for years 😂
Black Swan is perfection
Wish they did the professional, my favorite
