Cause there are no arrows in the hedgehogs back, I like to believe no-one has ever gotten behind him. He just charges into everything head on, without ever turning back
I remember seeing that knight on a horse model a short while back and thinking it was an awesome model, but didn't even realise at all that it formed a skull. I'm so glad you pointed that out
These are all dope, I especially love that hedgehog mini lol. Colours and lighting are top tier as usual Also thank you for the kind words man, means a lot! Really dope contest too, I basically had to give my vote to everyone there were that many crazy good minis 🙌
Goedendag, nice to see one of my characters featured. I am only moderately sorry for the glitch work, the mods said it was okay before I posted. If it's any consolidation, it was a massive pain to work with. I never made a HF account which means I can't actually import models myself and I also do it from a phone because the laptop I have runs like molasses on a 359° slope. Also Happy is the product of the inner machinations of the mind of a parallelogram with too much creativity and too much free time.
@@Derfholm Also a funny little thing about the model, the shield glitch wasn't done for the booth. I actually did it for the regular non-pro screenshot as a way to block the default lighting. If I were to do it with the booth in mind, I would have left those out so that I could have more hands on the extra model to add stuff.
I definitely think you could've made the vampiric drudge look a LOT more feral. Giving him a slightly receding hairline is not exactly wild. You could've definitely gone all out, given him crazy hair that really just explodes to all sides as he leaps toward us. Other than the drudge I think your characters are perfectly thematic and very nicely detailed, good job overall
Impressive I have to say! Compared to my own Hero Forged models they are bad ass! You should have done a child ghost because those are always creepy 💀😁
XD Damn, Skycastle really screw you over by giving us the batfolk update literally like... 4 days before you uploaded this video. Now I am seeing the vampire lord model and I am thinking that the bat nose would have maybe gone so well on it
Hopefully next year when you do a Halloween video the cool bat stuff is added in before you make the models lol. Man that inquisitor is cool, those clothes with the crown of flowers on the skulls is great inspiration for my D&D campaign
the thing about vampires is you can have your cake and eat it too. being picky with your cryptids is fine, I like all kinds of vampires. and as gritty as your vampire huntress is, she is also attractive still. she looks like if she did makeup for like a fany party she could pull it off. i like tough girls haha
Be me, make a range of super high effort vampiric boss characters then be absolutely dismayed by the addition of a bat race that immediately makes the old models obsolete
Honeslty I like to view vampires in 3 specific tiers of appearance: The Bloodborne/Blood Knight - Pretty much the pretty boys/girls and what ya expect (wich are also better then the Twilight shit), monstrous ones are an exception or a result of extreme aging. The Nosferatu/Dracula - The middle ground where they look human but can become monstrous, switching between both with ease. The Crimson Curse - Straightup Body Horror monstrous vampires, 90% is barely human with the top still having their full mental capacities and be able to controll the swarm and take on more humanoid forms as disguises. Pretty much start off simple with the changes, till halfway it reachs it peak where theres no longer a human, till at somepoint they metamorphosis into a humanoid form that can transform betwen Humanoid and Monstrous.
Making more unique dresses and such that blur the line between upper- and lower-body clothing with Kitbashing seems like a great idea, until you see that the Medieval Gown, for example, has over 200 distinct nodes. (I've tried doing a sundress on a model I made; I was able to get away with a fairly static pose and just moving and rotating the top joint of each row, but even then it's still pretty intimidating.)
For the hedgehog monster it might be a good idea to use those shields with the arrows in them instead of singular arrows. That way you get more arrows for less kitbashing slots.
yeah just spent 2 hours tryna make a hedgehog-like body for my own thing thats kinda similar just for it to end up looking like some shrek meme. (this is difficult)
It does make me wonder, who is the single most powerful character in your lore in terms of powerscaling? Like what is the greatest feat in your DND universe and who was responsible?
@@Derfholm yea but honestly new bat stuff is cool and makes sense why the bat nose was changed to say bat nose 1, and the wing arms need to the possibility of pterodactyl folk
I genuinely want to know, can you 3D print your kitbashed mini? Like what are the limitations? I think I want to invest in this. But first need to know if it’s something I can print. Also after I buy the file can I customize the size of the print? Sorry if these questions seem obvious, but I’m new to all of this and very excited by the idea of this program.
Yeah go wild! Those ghost ones are all edited specifically for that model so they may be labelled really weirdly but go for it I've made a colour video in the past giving out most of my colour library, so it's all there for the taking
I have a question, is there any way to remove the subscription for kitbash? Sorry if that sounds silly, I have the same amount of brains as a dnd barbarian
I would like to ask, where is the Sky Castle, claw fingernails in the site, second how did you make the vampire nose, push back in the face in order to only show the two slits as the nostrils? Last but not least, I would also like your opinion on the concept of suggesting to the MODS/ Sky Castle team to consider adding 2 suspender adds that are only the suspenders alone, one of a Y back old west style leather suspenders, and the other a Y-back suspender with the cross section across the Y for the Military style Israeli suspenders. I know they already have the Farmers shirt witih suspenders but that choice does not quite work in the Kit bashing, it appears to make the model look full figured. Also, how in this video do you keep/save the custom made hair, clothes and etc. adds you have created? I have not yet, been able to get to your level, but any helpful hints might be away i can advance in my future endeavors as well. Thank you for any comments/suggestions you may contribute.
I was sitting here thinking, surely he'll fix the chest on the vampire huntress, there's no way he'll leave it clipping like that... Why did you leave it like that???
Hahaha you're right, yeah. It's actually because I accidentally threw in the wrong finished model. I have a 2nd variant that's more or less the same but aside from no clipping it's also with arrows in the quiver, but I must've been tired when I got the final turnaround shot and took the wrong model
For Evil woman: I really like what you have done but if you really but what I see that looks alike in all those modes is a very aristocratic look with the same facial profile. Try playing with that maybe? even overall you dont play with face customizer a lot to make characters unique (in general, not only on those models), They are all pretty squared up max steel alpha sigma or something. What if the young adult, jovial girl with more roundy/soft facial features turns out to be the big, bad bitch? she aind aristocratic either, so she decived everyone pretty well. Could be fun ó3ó
Vampires might be undead, but most look better than their feral, malnourished counterparts. They don't have dried skin cuz they're already undead, so, not decaying, right? For the mutated Vampire Lord you could've used the Vampire Lord from Skyrim or Man-Bat as am reference. Yours looks a little too human and like he has a stubble going on. And that vampire hunter could've been wayyyy better bro. No hate, just saying. I've seen you make way better designs. You were cooking with that Witch tho.
