Spoiler block‼️‼️‼️
12:32 Thats reaction to finding out black's rank had me dying.
Hello all, this is rang, I was red in this match. Was not logged in and could not join voice chat as I was away from home/office. I was pretty sure blue was Drew though based on writing style and the fact that he regularly enters tournaments as a smurf lol
I did not like 5810 for 1st settle because there was a good chance the outs were not good. I considered 3810 because wood is very valuable on this map. However leaving 5810 for 3rd or 4th was also probably really bad.
Think the solos were fair, I blocked Saint 3-4 times, mainly on the 6 sheep, had to move it off them once and hit the 10 brick. Hit Drew 2-3 times on the 6 brick. If you look at the game stats Drew lost 16 resources from blocks, if this number is lower he can steal road pretty easily given how black placed and lost the centre settle. Last block was a mistake though.
I pulled mono on my last turn, in the next game I pulled 3 vps to win lmao
You played it well man. The trading was on point. I didn’t know you were playing. I usually see you in vc.
I agree the first solos were fine… maybe a tad aggressive on Saint but given the rolls on my 6 after you blocked it, that was great for the board.
It’s likely you win if we don’t get hit any key rolls. 6 was winning for me but also for Saint. Maybe the final block was the 3 or the 6 for Saint and pray I just miss. It’s not easy in those endgame situations.
drew I needed this, you and phantom haven't posted in a bit :(
just finished watching-- sorry for the loss but also orange was a cool guy
you could have sneak road and win around the 6 brick if you didn't threw the bricks away. you wouldn't need the last city as well
If Orange got the 4,9,11 the game would’ve ended in 15 minutes. I don’t see the point in double brick with an 11 wood. It also would’ve let him have the same likelihood of getting to the sheep port anyways since red doesn’t have wood
Silver tongued at 27:00 😂
You got solo blocked too much. Nice game!
It was a great game regardless :)
looked at 6 3 4 with 6 9 10 for 4th, that 3:1 is def playable. It would make your setup weaker too
First view, like and comment! Looking forward to the video!
34:22 discard the ore and win with road?
I wanted to hold 2 brick and 3 ore. This gave me the flexible for a city drop and/or road. Leaving me with 1 brick in hand was an accident. I think I was looking at the discord hand which had 2 brick in it and just thought that was my hand. Mistake in the moment! :P
masters in this game sometime make move that I really do not understand, for me here 10 6 9 at the beginning would have been an install call, I really need to understand how to get to this kind of moves !
1 fumble with the discard and could’ve deved twice > city but man was that a brutal table with black
Didn’t you have the win at the thirty six minute mark? Could’ve taken road I think
I was short a card!
36:40 you were 1 card away from road. Try trading for an ore?
Guarantee NO ONE was going to trade at that point. Maybe black, lol.
What if red took 6 5 10 ? :o
I'm very invest in your game, so it's sad to see you sarcastically mock the others 'bad' play, when you clearly have winning rolls multiple times, i think they have multiple right choice and blocking you is one of them, start praising them instead for choosing one of the right play plz
I truly appreciate your support. I hope no one takes my comments as putting anyone down as I do this channel to inspire and teach. I usually stay after these games and coach most players who ask me questions but this wasn’t the case with this table since they were not present. I’m trying to point out why certain decisions might be suboptimal or illogical to the situation, which the last block was. Of course that doesn’t mean they are bad players or don’t deserve praise. The tone might have come out of tensions of the moment but the intentions aren’t negative towards anyone.
Bro, you were the reason red got the 2/4/9.. literally said dont leave it to red and then left it to red 10 seconds later lol. Anyway, if black foes 8/10 he probably wins
There is a fine line between being defensive and offensive. In my situation, taking the 642 would be incredibly limiting and most likely be losing for me. At this point I have to pray red is the early target. It’s not the same for orange who can forgo the additional brick which isn’t needed and play more positional.
Like, comment, watch
16:04 i think you need to stop and think how good is doubling the 8 wood brick port. I would have settled 8 3 and dropped a road down to double the 8 ore, then built to the 6 2 and wrapped around the 6 brick
Helps your road path to win with road later orange has road uncontested and wins
wth was black thinking.
these are kinda fun but its lame listening to you complain about black all game. i get its frustrating when they misplay (in your opinion) but don't drone on about it for the rest of the video lmao, definitely takes away from the otherwise good video
i really felt like he didnt drone on about it for very long and commenting on serious misplays are fine in my opinion
Yeah, I stopped watching when you started teaming up with Orange without everyone being able to see/hear, and on the same breath manipulated and literally lied to Orange (saying you'd build roads with the trade when you built a city). Not my favorite video of this channel
It’s a discord tournament. I can’t force people to be in voice chat. It’s part of the game to participate in voice and it’s strange you are putting that on me.
Equally, working with orange was one of the best things both of us could do and was helpful for him to have a trading partner for the wood… it helped him win the game.
You are being a bit unfair about the situation saying I lied… there were 2 separate trades where the first one was for 2 roads and the 2nd trade would give me a city. If he accepts the first trade, I drop 2 roads. If he takes the 2nd I city. I think you are misrepresenting this situation and my intentions.
