The Medusa shield is super effective against doppelganger so go for it before the library and the hevans sword is best done in the inverted castle clock tower area you don't lose it and that guy respawns when you walk to the side
Should have farmed the cloak night in the same room where you did the Medusa shield (but on inverted castle 2) bottom of that room there's a hole in the wall going into the next room, I dipped in and out of there and got the Heaven Sword in about 15 minutes :) Nice vid man, my all time fav PS1 game.
you need the spirit of the bat then go to the clock room in the normal castle and fly through the hole in the middle and you will find the Gravity Boots then when you get those press Down then Up+Jump Button and it will jump high this technique is very useful for some other parts :D
The Easiest to get the Skull Shield from is Yorick at the beggining of the Inverted Castle and the Medusa Shield is way better for bosses with the Shield Rod
I saw on one video that there's a weapon called Alucard Spear, and I know the PlayStation and Sega Dreamcast versions have some differences in them. Is that weapon in both versions or just one? And if so, which version is it in?

one is found in the room adjacent to where you battle Beelzebub in the inverted castle. another can be found using the "super jump technique". this involves using the gravity boots in the room under where the librarian sits. you can use the boots to jump through the narrow space in the ceiling and bump the librarian into the air. repeat this process (some say without touching the ground between jumps) and he will drop a ring of arcana (and a few other items when you repeat the process).
Are you serious?!?! You don't have to kill the cat?? I had to use a save state right after the little bastard starts to drop because the thing always ran off screen.

is that the inverted castle, cuz i have explored MOST of the castle, and no luck finding most of the things you've showed

Technically, you only lose 6 defense when using the Dracula tunic because the masamune eats your defense.

Okay so I’m pretty sure 2 ring of arcana and alucart gear is pretty solid for farming. But I’m not sure if there is a better set up.

Get the lapis lazuli and watch your luck skyrocket. I use that and one ring of arcana to farm
