THANK YOU for this video! This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I have locs, but they are short, so Ive been wrapping them with faux locs and adding the curly pieces. Ive never seen the curly pieces on real locs. This is a game-changer!!
This is legit the only video out there like this with someone who has kinkier hair. I love it. If any of y'all try it can yall drop y'all's Ig down below some of us want to see more people with it. Thank you for sharing 🙏❤
this still came to me in my thoughts and I did not know what it would look like on my locs. THE ONE AND ONLY VIDEO. God bless you for this, I am doing this soon!
Finally found the type of video I been looking for and yet still you’re the only one that’s given what I’m looking for. Thank you for sharing 🥰you did amazing 🥰🥰🥰
Love this😍 I been doing this for years to my locs with human hair so I don’t have to take it out lol. You should also add some to the ends of your locs it blends naturally
@Tabo Maonde It did. But the hair started looking like ragdoll barbie hair so i took it out. I now crochet real human hair to the ends of my locs and it give me the boho vibe that I wanted. Only downside: you shed a lot of hair.
Thank you girl and not 4 years ago!!! Sis been on this. I swear I just randomly was like..i think I can do this to my locs. Im going to try, thank you.
Omg thank you because there are no videos like this so thank you !! I bought my hair but didn’t know how to do it! This helps so much! Keep making videos
OMG! Thank you so MUCH!!!! This is literally the best tutorial video on how to add curly hair to natural locs. I can't wait to try this technique on my locs! ❤❤❤❤
Girl, thanks! My Locs are only 7 months old, but Imma use this technique for my trip! And I am REAL familiar with the water wave, which is my favorite, amd gogo curl hair are most favorite! Thanks again❤❤❤❤
@@nursed.porchae990 Thank you! During the final week of my program I was preparing to defend my research and lowkey didn't even have time to try it, unfortunately. BUT I do plan on trying it in the future especially with the summer approaching :D
Yes love your New Orleans accent. I just was thinking 🤔 why can't natural loc sisters add this& went up here &ur the only 1 with a video. 4 years ago. I'm late. Hopefully no damage to taking them out& video on how would be dope
So, @teefahful mentioned below that she does this with human hair also so that she can keep them in. What was your take down like? Does the loc base get matted in with the hair when it is time to take it out? I wouldn't want to compromise the base of my locs when cutting out this hair. Did you record your take down by any chance? Also, when you washed your hair with it in, did it cause any build up at the base of your locs? Thanks so much for sharing! This is right up my alley once I get these questions answered.
As I'm reading all the questions.. it seems that she will not answer. I want to try this as well. This is different. I guess we all have to just jump out there and determine it ourselves. LOL So what I am gathering human hair works best with this style and taking it down isn't hard. Just make sure you don't cut your hair in the process. Crochet hair is easy to take out. The build up part is the main question here. For me, I will only leave this in for at least a month. So I am going to try this style. This is very pretty and low maintenance. Good luck sis!
Girl why i was debating cutting my locs down some because im not a lair hair girl and I want color so I considered adding some curly pieces and I’ve been online for two days down looking for some one to do this to be sure I won’t crazy… baybee running to the beauty supply
Thank you thank you thank you!!!!🎉 I've looked and looked and I couldn't find anyone doing this on natural locs. I was going to do it this way but wasn't sure if it would work but girl you did that!!!! Doing it soon as I have the time. Again thank you, you did yo thang! ❤

3 years later and you’re still the only one with a video on this. Thank you!!! I can’t wait to try this style on my locs.
It’s pretty damaging that’s probably why
so are faux locs but you still see plenty of videos on those despite the takedown being known to be horrendous@@crochetqueen6908
@crochetqueen6908 How so? Please tell!
4 years later and you still can barley find this thank you ❤️❤️

Have you used longer weave and did it blend well?
Does the fake weave hair tangle when you wash it and get in the water? Or tangle with your locs?
Nope it doesn’t. She said she’s washed it many times
Love it.
