I disagree with your comment about FSD avoiding speeding tickets when it comes to speed cameras. The map on your screen did not display a speed camera icon. The issue lies with the speed FSD selected for those roads.
I agree with not leaving it to do it by its own… after making the video I went to another area and it was close to the speed but didn’t go over but still unsettling none the less. But I don’t know how or why but EVERY speed camera even if it’s on nav or not FSD has slowed down well over 5-km
I have played with Autopilot mode on my 2025 M3 and find it frustrating to say the least. Biggest issue is when speed limits change on the road. Say entering/leaving a small town or residential area. It nearly slams on the brakes when it sees a lower speed limit sign to obtain the posted speed. Not good if someone is tailgating you, which is most of the time. Yes, if they hit you it may be their fault, BUT, to loose your car while it's in the repair shop for 2 months? AND, when the speed limit goes back up after leaving a town, the cruise control will NOT bring the car up to the new speed! WTF! You have to manually increase speed to the posted limit! Autopilot is way over nagging too. Like every minute, it hassles you to wiggle the steering wheel. If it thinks you do not have your eyes glued to the road, it nags you. I pretty much never use it anymore. I'm totally afraid of FSD and will never subscribe to it after my freebee runs out.
