Although there is a ton of detailers on UA-cam these days that I really like to watch I somehow get a feeling that Larry is more of an artisan of his trade. The quality and attention to detail reflects in the style and quality of the uploads. Well done, keep it up!
Larry is beyond an elder in detailing circles. If anything, Id say him or Yvan or Apex are the most innovative with Chicago Auto Pro's and a few other not too far behind.
I feel like there are many great «car wash & 1step polish» youtubers. Larry is in a group for the select few, the brain surgeon equivalent of detailers. If he doesn’t polish the paint until scratch free, he has a good reason for it & will explain why, the risk factors & the chemistry that goes on. I watch a lot of detailing videos just for the satisfaction, but when I watch this channel It’s because I want to school myself.

Everything Larry does is stunning! He truly loves what he does and you can feel the passion thru the screen! Great content everytime. I've been watching him for at least 6 yrs
When he said Jurassic Park Jeep I only remembered the Ford Explorer that the T-Rex "ate" in front of the paddock, forgot about the little Jeep Ian Malcolm's classic line "Must go faster! Must go faster!" scene was in. Guess I need to watch the first three movies again.
Been religious to Mitch the Detail Geek for the last few months, but boy and I glad I started watching your channel. First video I watched was the shop build/tour. Incredible production quality; subscribed!
Love that 944. As a child, a car just like it would drive by my house every day and I'd be up early in the morning to see it go by. Strange that I never got the chance to see one up close or buy one and restore it.
I love that point Larry made when he talked about the trend on UA-cam with everyone using stiff bristle brushes to clean their carpet. It’s really a last resort and I see a ton of these detailers using those brushes ALL THE TIME and especially when it’s really not necessary. Shows you how much Larry has really tried to hone his craft. Which is why I always try and learn from him and anyone that he learns from directly!
You are a true teacher! I enjoy your teaching parallels! I have a request, for your updates can you have them both in the episodes and cut them as their own separate video? It would nice to have an update category! Thanks for the channel!
Hey bud. In this case because I was power washing them, I didn't need to vacuum. If I was following with an extractor, then yes I would have vacuumed so as to not clog the extractor nozzle. hope that helps. thanks for watching and supporting AMMO!
I like how the car just turned new again and I looks brand new from the way it looked before it just looked amazing and I really like your effort that put into that car I like all of your videos that you put into that car thank you for those videos that you make just for us to see I try one of your videos and I loved how the car just turned amazing in person when you see the car I love you Ammo NYC I can't wait for you to put a nother video I love your videos and make sure you stay safe and healthy thank you Ammo NYC.
I'm glad you started to feature detailing restoration style videos on your channel. Like To My said, your videos hit different (not taking a shot at the others).
@@portalj Even though I'm a huge Back to the Future fanboy, I'd still probably rather have the Maserati, unlike the Delorian it's actually as fast & nimble as it looks - and around the same level of god-awful reliability and maintenance costs.
oh god the new owner is gonna hate removing that red paint, for someone who is focused on details u sure as heck missed out on how to spray pealable paint 🤦♂️
So you put all of that effort in to making the Jeep look great... then you spray the paint red... leaving overspray everywhere... completely un-doing your work? I respect you Larry, but this was a big no-no for me.
1.41 is my guess. Love seeing the process. Always helpful. That warehouse looks amazing. Also, I ended up getting that oil out of my porsche's trunk linear, lots of dawn dish soap dunkin.
awesome as usual! advice for colored plastidip (or "peelable paint"): don't use the color paint alone, always start with a white base (3 layers min), it's thicker and will get you the color result you expect once covered with 3 layers of color.
I like watching other detailers but Larry is an artist. Other detailers will pull out a soft rotary brush and have at it and i can just hear Larry in my head "thats not the best option for that" lol

To My totally agree. I said the same thing when I first came across his channel.

He's such a genuinely nice guy. I'd love to have a beer with this dude.
Did u notice he didn’t even vacuum the carpets before scrubbing? Kinda odd right....8:00

I love all of the AMMO videos but these 'rescues' are becoming my favourites. Thanks for another great video...... oh and $2.40.
"be the stylist, not the butcher" 👍
That has to be the cleanest YJ I have ever seen. My mouth hit the floor when you took out the carpets.
So happy it didn't get junked!
Same! I was absolutely shocked by how neat and clean the floor of the Jeep was after they removed the carpet
I bought a YJ last year fixed it up with my old man and I can say that this is a very clean YJ
"barn find" rescue format is ticking all my OCD boxes!!! Keep them coming!!!
You have no idea the amount of anxiety you give me while painting
Facts same
Looks like 💩
Me too 😕
That’s a disaster
I know!!! He should know better!!!
Omg no body rust 😍
Hard to find like that here in Canada
So true!
These are always so satisfying. I'd love to see you tackle a motorcycle one day!

love these videos watching them is like therapy for me.
What you do is ART my friend. Amazing work
I love this so much, saving abandoned cars. Keep doing this
Amazing results 🤘🏻 but personally the red paint spoiled it 😢
I’m so relieved it’s just plastidip

It's to look like the jurassic park jeep
I also prefer it without but it's just platidip
Its peelable.
I like it. And it makes this vid different than others. Will add to the sale price, and maybe 6 months later they peel it.
This is a great combination of classic Larry info and satisfying shots you might see on some other channels. I'm liking the the new format.
HOLY SHH.. that warehouse!! How? What? Why? Who? WHAT?!!
Atlantic Picture that warehouse made me hit the bell! Notifications on!!
Jay Leno? 🤔 Seinfeld?
@@henrys130 Don't blame you. I borderline want to be thrown in a blacked-out van and taken there (no tickling tho) just to look around..

i really almost cried when you said you were gonna paint it, so much relief when you said plasti-dip though. that paint has so much character
That warehouse looks amazing I wish I could get just one of those cars to restore lol
Me too!!!
no other detailing channel comes to close the time and detail larry puts into these videos. Thanks, Larry! Also I guess its around a $1.60 of change
The detail geek is awesome too
Look a Jurassic Park jeep! Thanks for the update at the end! Looking forward to seeing more about that warehouse
Finally, some quality content on UA-cam again
$1.73
Also, the shots of pressure washing off the dirt after the Frothe was so satisfying to watch.

I have a Mint 92' Sahara. I live in the desert Southwest so no rust.
Everyone wants it. A real Jurassic Jeep is made from a 92 Sahara.

I though they were 93 Sahara Jeeps.

Instead of painting it wouldve been easier to put on vinyl for the graphics. Couldve preserved the original paint.
I’m so relieved it’s just plastidip
Vinyl wouldve looked much better than this faded red he threw on
It's just plastidip, you can pull it off at any point without hurting the paint.

What a beautiful Jeep looks like a military toy, I'm going to guess $1.23.
That 944 went exactly where it was suppose to. Awesome warm felt feelings lol
Kinda wish that wasn’t turned into a Jurassic park Jeep. Because it was actually really nice the way it was. But it’s still nice
