Oh, good question on the positive lead. I don't remember now that it's been a while since I put it on. However, I do believe that there was one wire that was a common color among all of the four separate branches. In my video I am using the branch that has the white tape on it. I see a black/white striped lead and a green lead coming off of it. I have the red lead from my light bar hooked to the black/white lead of the sub-harness and the black lead from the light bar hooked to the green lead from the harness. With regards to the fastener I used to mount the relay to my Pioneer, I don't know what size it was other than it was a 1/4" long bolt with a hex head. I just fished around in my bucket of odds-and-ends hardware and found one that fit nicely in the hole in the Pioneer frame. Sorry I don't have a better answer. Just grab some spare bolts and nuts and find something that fits the hole.
That is correct. The harness hooks into an auxiliary power supply to allow you to pull power without having to run wires to the battery. And to be clear, this auxiliary power is controlled by the key switch, so power is only available when the key is on.
It works fine. Now granted, I have taken the Pioneer on a total of two rides this summer and none in the rain. So, it really hasn’t been subjected to much use. I honestly just ride my dirt bikes more because the Pioneer is soooo slow.

I actually haven’t added anything else to the harness since I put it in. I don’t know why you wouldn’t be able to hook a winch up to it.
Is that an aftermarket bumper or OEM? I just picked up a 2023 520, thanks.
That is a Honda OEM part. It was a $300 add-on from my dealership at the time of purchase. That was without installation which I did myself.

So by using that Honda sub harness you didn’t need to run the pos and neg leads to the battery?
