Good technique, if a guy wants to remove the wheel or tire. For me seems like too much work. Thanks for your comment and for watching. Please like and subscribe if you enjoy our content.
Thanks for the great video! Just got some diamond chains for my 4 wheeler and no istructions to go with them. Saved me a good bit of aggravation, trying to get them fitted!

That fancy shaped connecting plate on the side chains is actually a cam tension-er. So you should be threading it through a link and levering it back on itself, then hooking it to hold. Hope that helps some. Thanks for the video.
I find it interesting that so many people misunderstand the benefit of ladder chains. Ladder chains at defiantly superior when maximum traction is needed.
I have ladder chains as well, these actually have better coverage with their design and shape always providing traction with no gaps. Thanks for watching and for your comment, please subscribe if you enjoy our content.
@@LifeintheNorth40 your old ladder chains are four link ladder chains, there are 2 link ladder style chains which have a extra cross link between each of your 4 link style.
In the German Alps we use „net chains“ or „Supergreifsteg“ and thats the best Tire chains. Very good grip, easy to put on and very tough. This chains need not so much tension because they should lay down on the ground before the tire does. The only bad thing is the price. A pair of chains for a tractor etc. starts 1k. Greetings from Bavaria 😃
Wow, thanks so much for watching from Bavaria! My family lineage comes from the Rhineland. Yeah, these are affordable option for UT or ATVs that keeps constant traction, no matter where the wheel is during its rotation. Thanks for your comment, please subscribe if you enjoy our content.
I understand I've had many close calls. Glad I found these. They're working great and superior to my ladder style chains. Please like and subscribe if you enjoy your content.
Replace the inside screw pin shackle with a quick link. The shackle on my chains (Piedmont Chain ATVDS2) strike the stabilizer bar when the vehicle is lifted and barely clear when on the ground.
They look like good tire chains but it’s kind of sad that you can get those chains for a full size pickup tire for less than a smaller Ute tire. Nice job on the video by the way. 👍
These are not more expensive than tire chains. I had to buy for my truck that’s for sure. Everything’s gotten expensive these days unfortunately. Thanks for your comment and for watching our content please like and subscribe if you enjoy our content. Thank you.
Probably are a bit loose for install video. I do have and use tensioners as needed. Appreciate your comment and watching. Please like and subscribe if you enjoy our content.

Tire off machine , some air out, chains on, inflate tire. Now they have no slack. The best way to do this.

I've had the metal chain tensioners unhook before. Now,after I get everything tight,I put heavy-duty zip ties on them. No more coming loose.
I have used zip ties as well in the past, always a good backup. Thanks for watching and for your comment! Please subscribe if you enjoy our content.
Thanks for the video, one good thing about those cheap rubber tensioners is that you can use them with just three of the clips if you break one.
Great point! I’m glad I discovered these ladder chains as well! Thanks for watching our channel please like and subscribe if you enjoy our content

Interesting. Looks like a very effective chain for maximum traction. Also, liked Murphy's comments.
Great thanks! Ya Murph is my shadow
Awesome video. Thank you

This was great. Diamond for the win!

Thats the best chain installation video I have seen as well as very informative about diamond chains
Wow, thanks!
I could've used these trying to get through some snow pack in the mountains of Montana today (in July, lol).

Thanks for this. That first one is always the hardest. By the time I was on the last chain, I felt like a pro! 👽✌️

I deflate the tires and put chains on snug and then put air back in to desired pressure. That way your chains never slip on tire.

just made that comment up top! It is the way!
I have no clearance between my shock on the front… are these designed just to go on the back?
I just demonstrated and run the chains on the rear drive wheels, even in 4x4 mode. Please subscribe of you enjoy our content. Thanks for watching.
You might need wheel spacers to move your tiers out so that you have the clearance.

"ladders"?? They are called cross links. You can buy all kinds of different repair links to fix them.
Slang term, many refer to
Those look pretty lose. I over tighten them so they don’t get lose and break something.
