People in my country make fun of me all the time for being a Zep fan, but i honestly can't quit this band. It's just too much of a musical treasure to be forgotten.
You must live in a shitty country 🤷🏻♂️ Led Zeppelin is renowned for their innovative music, unmatched talent, and just overall popularity. They were on top of the world in the 70’s for a reason. Why would people in your country make fun of you for enjoying a band that has stood the test of time?
With the exception of ALS, which is there best song I think, Presence would have been a stellar album without Robert. He was in the downhill slide and ruined it, in my opinion. The music, a new approach for them, was outstanding!
Bonham and JPJ were a total UNIT. Makes me realise how critical their timing, rhythm and melodic accompaniment was to all LZ songs. This isolation facility is a great way to appreciate the constituent rhythmic parts of a song 🙏🏽
It’s not something that’s often said about hard rock bands. But one of the reasons I love Zeps music is that they got a natural funky rhythm undercurrent running through a few of their songs. It’s beautiful when you hear elements of other genres in music and you detect influences from antiquity. It’s just as beautiful when you realise what your listening to is the ancestral mother of contemporary music styles and genres🙏🏽

These are all fantastic. Jones and Bonham were perfectly matched to each other. Jonezy is a master bass player and what else can be said about John Bonham that hasn't been said. I look forward to When the Levee Breaks, the outro is phenomenal.
Oh damn my friend I love what you do for us. This is one of my fave Zep cuts and so amazing they played it at the O2 (although the solo was horrible both in tone and playing). Thanks so much for this.
Don't think for a moment this arrangement of musicians was by luck. Page, the methodical wise owl recruited JPJ from prior session work. Bonham, he doesn't reveal how he heard of him and Plant. Dedication to get to another level...
Such underated bassman! Jones was a mulii-talentend strings Master !
who underrated him ?
Hands down one of my favorite Zeppelin tracks. Love this.

What country is this?
Teach them the way of the Mighty Zeppelin grasshopper....
Page should release all the Led Zeppelin albums with just John b and John Paul Jones like you’ve done here it would sound really cool!!
You're joking, lol. Page would NEVER do that. But it would be cool.
Favorite song on Presence
One of my favorite zeppelin songs, shame it’s not popular

@@davidankrom1247 I think if Jimmy Page and Peter Grant would have allowed Robert Plant sufficient time to recover, the vocals would be better...

Modern drummers don't know when to lay off the cymbals. Bonham never overplays.
God, those triplet grace notes dancing around from the snare to bass drum are so fantastic.

The best hard rock bands know how to groove. See also AC/DC and Black Sabbath.
That always solid JPJ and Bonham groove....deep deep groove!! ✌️
Bonham played for Page ...but with Jones.
Amazing tight beat.
Funky too ..

This fantastic indeed !
Just LISTEN to that tone and feel!!!
Its a masterpiece, we can hear it instrument by instrument.
So that's how they did it....brilliant. One of my very favourite Zep tracks.
Amazing, 🥁🎸👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome!!! Great work. Thanks so much!!
Unmatched rhythm section.
Masterpiece
Great job, love this
Jones a jack of all trades master of them all when it came right down to it ...

Wicked Sinful Ruthless Even...Rock On RocknRollas...Earth Soul Blues RocknRoll...
SO underated bass virtuoso !.........
So good!!!!!
Hipnotizirajuće !!! ❤❤❤
Love it! Like karaoke for guitarists.
These two played like a Motown/soul/funk rhythm section.
Bonham had the best sound ever and it's not even close!!
anyone else hear the wammy bar on the guitar in their heads at the right time on this?
JPJ Fender jazz basd through acoustic 260 bass head & cabinet.

This is what heaven looks like when God starts hammering...while the angel Gabriel plays his bass
