    Saigon is one of the best city in SEA, just my opinion coz i fell in love the first thing i went, and since then it has been my 20th trip now. It's loud, it's chaotic, the traffic is madness, there is not much notion of privacy, but Saigon is awesome.

    People might not understand the dental work in Vietnam, I also questioned it 20yrs ago, but my family took me to the dental anyway when I was in Vietnam, I feared for my life because I had no insurance in Vietnam .........but the fillings stayed in for 15yrs while the fillings I did in Canada last me 2yrs, and for 6yrs I had to do the fillings 3 times with the cost foreach time was 10x compare to Vietnam...They say in Vietnam they used Japanese materials, whereas here they use American materials .......

    • @Chai_Travel
      @Chai_Travel  8 місяців тому

      Nice comment :) that’s why I leave those interviews in. It’s good to know the standerds are high over here. Hopefully your filling stays in this time 😁

    • @anhbinbaccuc8850
      @anhbinbaccuc8850 8 місяців тому +1

      @@Chai_Travel I'm sure America is capable of producing quality dental fillers, and for that they probably have variety of grades and types, so it's not Japanese or American fillers, but more of a protection of the dental trade here, where they have to use mediocre fillers so patients would keep coming back. Cost is one thing, the other is the dentist has to sand down your tooth every filling, so you're losing your tooth slowly. Many times I requested please don't sand, just put in the filler, shall they fall out after a year I will accept that and will come back and do the filling again, but here they won't do that, they have to sand your tooth before put in the filler. Not all of the filler I did in Canada fell out after 2yrs, there's one stayed for 4yrs, but compare to the 15yrs in Vietnam, I'm very disappointed but I live here so I have to use the dental service here.

    The single biggest problem for westerners in Vietnam is the visas are too restrictive . Compare that to Thailand where most can get 30 days on arrival and Malaysia 3 months on arrival. Cambodia is the easiest with UpTo 12 months continuous stay.

    Đúng vậy, là người bản địa ( Việt Nam ), tôi cũng khá thất vọng về chính sách phát triển du lịch của đất nước. Vẫn còn rất nhiều người bán hàng với tâm thái : Con mồi chỉ đến một lần. Không chỉ "chặt chém" du khách mà ngay cả người trong nước cũng có khả năng trở thành nạn nhân.

      Vietnam only wants you to come as a short-term tourist to spend money or you must actually invest in business here and contribute to the local economy, they don't want foreigners who just come to Retired people spend a small amount of money competing with local people with the advantage of currency exchange rate differences.
