In this video, I share my tips and tricks for arriving at Ho Chi Minh Airport (SGN) in Vietnam. I cover everything from how to clear customs and immigration to how to get into the city center. I also share some tips on how to experience the local culture, including how to cross the street, try some delicious food, and get a massage.
Here are some of the specific tips I share in the video:
Arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight to give yourself plenty of time to clear customs and immigration.
Be aware of pickpockets and other petty theft, especially in crowded areas like the airport.
Use the Grab app to book a taxi or ride-share from the airport to the city center.
Try some of the delicious street food in Ho Chi Minh City. Be sure to bargain for the best price!
Get a massage at one of the many affordable spas in the city.
Check out the vibrant nightlife in Ho Chi Minh City. There are bars and clubs to suit everyone's taste.

Hello! Love your guys's vlogs. Watched all of your Japan videos prior to my trip earlier this year. We're traveling to Vietnam next Jan-Feb and I was curious what travel bags do you guys travel with? I have a 30L Northface Backpack and a Rimowa Carry-On that I travel with, but looking to get another backpack or duffel bag that could hit under the airplane seat, but also really expansive. Thanks!
We travel pretty light because we are on the move every few days. We usually just each have 1 carry on and and 1 backpack. We last in Asia for 3 months just with that. Doing laundry in Asia is super cheap. Thanks for following us on our adventures 🙂🙂
