Yeaaaaa! Those 2D one's were one of a kind. I couldn't find any other in Korea besides the arcade basement of the hotel i was staying in. Definitely a buy.
Believe it or not, this was basically my first video on my channel for Vietnam. So, I was prettty shy on camera because i am doing it on the spot. It's not like it's rehearsed or anything, it was on the fly and I interacted with all the vendors as a I see basis. Haha. I hope you enjoyed it!
Heyyyy Shadow! The best way to contacting me is here. I always read every comment. Let me know how it is and i'll reply back asap :) Going to Vietnam in December is the best. You will see all the decor and nightlife.
I personally went back in 2016 and they HAD puffer jackets / north face and fake Columbia jackets . However 2023 (this video) I could not find any this year. It seems like covid and inflation got those products off the market is my suspicion. I couldn’t find them when I was there. I’m going back to Vietnam this December. I’ll see if things have changed. :)
Suitcases on average I got quoted first was about $100-150 Canadian which I wouldn’t get there. Try to bargain it down to something you like, I’ve seen suitcases go for $50-70cad. Don’t expect the prices to be like $10-15-20 it won’t be like that. Not for suitcases.
I go back in one month. I can't wait. I usualy start at 1/4 to haggle and go up from there. Also use your phone as calcuter to let them know you mean business lol
CAD is Canadian. :) similar to usd. I’m Canadian so I use CAD as a reference. I’ll start to try to incorporate more usd references in my upcoming videos :)
I didn't buy a rolex, i ended up buying a few LV wallet clips, not a full sized wallet but its the wallet clips with the clip in the middle. As well as north face bags =D @@sbrave
Go to the vendors that’s near the entrances/ border around the entrances that usually don’t get too crowded, and go near end of day sales when sales quota is already reached. Don’t go early morning.
I believe they 'have' it on the perimeter of the centre. If you're talking about the hiker backpacks where there's a belly strap where you get at sporting life/mountain warehouse, its less common here. However, they do have hiker trekking bags like patagonia, northface that is backpack style. I really want to say they do have your style you're talking about, it's just less common. The north face bags/patagonia duffle back packs are 90-100L biggest size, not 120L so you know. Hope this helps.
There is! BUT - I don’t know the quality. Be sure to check the quality before u buy it. I personally have NOT bought electronics from there before. It’s not authentic apple. So. Be careful with that. Don’t worry about the questions. That’s why we here for :)
Recently went to Saigon and Ben Thanh was a stressful but also memorable experience. Surprisingly, I was the most active haggler in our group even though I have a reputation of being really bad at it. I only did 50% haggle though. But most of the time, I would only go up slightly or be really stubborn with the 50% of OG price. Anyway, got some good deals and managed to help my friends drop prices down as well 😜
@@keienn7259 it’s always an experience with different people. Honestly it’s a nice culture shock for me. Most people find it overwhelming but I understand what people are saying so maybe that’s why it’s not as overwhelming. Anywho the products are decent and it’s always fun

When I was last there, charged $100 Canadian but can haggle down to $70 Canadian. For fake Rolex. I didn’t end up buying it though, there’s many jewelry stores BUT that’s the price I got quoted before for those Rolex’s. so around there and cheaper for G shocks etc.
Thanks buddy that means a lot! I have much more content AND im going back to Vietnam and exploring other markets in December. But right now i have more videos coming out about Thailand and Korea before i film more Vietnam. Ben Thanh isn't the only market. Once i find out which good ones are in Hanoi and Da Nang, i'll film that as well :) @@ararattran4671
Yes around there. The prices can flutuate, which is why you might have to take some time to bargain. Walk away and come back, you might have to repeat the process. oh a big tip is.... go shop near the end of the day when they are about to close. Better deals then. :) @@ararattran4671
Ok sorry but last question sorry I’m very nervous did you see Louis Vuitton jewlery boxes like theese big boxes to put jewlery in because they cost over 120$ in China 😅😮
I don’t recall seeing a LV jewelry box. But there are jewelry boxes. Also check the vendors against the walls. They don’t have much customers going there because many people usually go into the middle of the market because it’s a tourist thing to do- to go into the center. If you go along the sides of the market, you’ll often see different things and possibly better bargains because the side stalls and vendors don’t get much love n attention as the centre stalls.
350 is a good deal...300 to 320 would hv been a much more smarter deal..always keep the local price and some adjustment for the quality has to be the benchmark...pl enjoy bargaining without any hesitation
For me it’s $55 as of 2024depending on the currency. I’m Canadian. Last year it was lower because of exchange. Last year was more $50 Canadian for 1 mill vnd 2023
Wow!
Yayyy Subscribe for more! I will be visiting more parts of Vietnam, Thailand and then South Korea!
