Really enjoying your channel and I shouldnt say but helps me through the nightshift in the hospital cheers for your time and honesty, I'm alittle stuck on what I should get but il keep watching others and try and decide haha
Thanks for the review, its rare to see people in the UK doing reviews for brands like Umidigi, Realme and Poco - I've got sick of my Oppo Find X2 Neo so this has helped me find a new handset :)
This phone has good 4g band compatibility for T-Mobile and not bad for att in the US. It seems like one of the best budget options we have, rather than a carrier locked 720p phone with a quad core that will get like 1 security update.
Nice review! I'm particularly glad you mentioned the regular great discounts on various models on the Mi site. it snagged me twice. Just a word to the wise for those browsing: you'll often see an initial light discount when going to a specific model but find it fantastically cheaper when navigating differently. There are daily weekday deals for a given week; and often the higher capacity model is cheaper than the smaller version if you dig deeper. Weirdly kept site, but genuinely great deals. Currently at this time a Poco X3 Pro (128gb) is £159. * Now Sat 24th only* Imv a far better performer despite 4G only. (A good network will give you good speeds anyway. Me being a refugee from a network between 2 and 4 that had poor speeds everywhere)
ive just bought this poco m3 pro 5g and to be fair its really good ,, the sound has a built in eq u just need to ajust as it is set flat,, u can even choose what type of of headphones you are using and the e.q ajusts.. brightness ? well just turn it up ,, camera 48 mp 10x zoom , and on max still get a decent pic .. comes with google android and can switch to mi , so best of both worlds a good all rounder phone specally for the price got mine at £159 with 6gb ram 128gb storage u can get 4gb / 64gb for £139 which will do the job but worth paying £20 more for the extra gb on amazon atm 18/11/21
Am hoping to buy the sister version of this, the Redmi Note 10 5G. Sporting basically everything about the same other than the design. Would you mind doing the review of that Uncle Spurt?
Are you sure you'd not rather have an OLED screen? 5G is overrated IMHO. Mid-band 5G isn't that much faster than 4G, and 4G is more reliable since it uses lower frequencies which travel further. And it will take a decade for the "ultra fast" mmWave (Glorified Wi-fi) spreads from the US across the world - and these Xiaomi's don't support it.
@@WhenDoesTheVideoActuallyStart Have to buy it for my mum, and she keeps Android phones like Apple people do iPhones- 5 to 6 years. So yep, future proofing is important for her otherwise I could have just recommended her a G40
@@WhenDoesTheVideoActuallyStart will these phones work in the US? I'm looking at the Poco X3 NFC, X3 Pro, and Redmi Note 10 Pro.. all of them seem to have very limited 4G (AT&T) coverage here. Bummer!
This has a better screen than the Pixel 7a and I didn't even realize for 1.5 years this did 90hz refresh. Also noticed the Audio stutters 4:45, swinging my phone in my hand while walking could SOMETIMES make the signal jumpy with Bluetooth. Battery Last a loong ass time. Bought this for £159 and for the price I imagine it was one of THE best phones in 2021
Good to see you on the Tube Chrisco all things considered, thought you may be pissing it up at the boozer celebrating "freedom day". Any thoughts of bringing back techspurt weekly now you out of rehab 🤣🤣🤣.
One of the problems with all of the Xiaomi / Redmi / Poco phones is the sheer number of different phones many of which are competing in the same market segment. What you've reviewed here is a reasonable phone for anyone who doesn't go overboard on gaming or photography. But the same could be said for several other phones from the associated brands. Xiaomi really does follow the "Pile them high and sell them cheap" philosophy to an extreme degree. They really need to rationalise their product line and brand identity. As usual your delivery and detail are good. Thank you. Big big mega huge shout out. Hopefully on August 2nd 2021, late morning, one of your faithful followers who is ancient, unfit, overweight, and TERRIFIED of heights is planning on riding the new zip line at Bluewater in Kent to raise money for the local hospice. Anyone who feels like coming along and cheering / jeering would be very welcome. Enjoy!
Agree on the comments B (hope you don't mind B, I'm squinting at a phone keyboard) also good luck B, on the Kent thing. Not too far from me in Sussex so may pay a visit to cheer on, then have a go myself ;)
Hi Tech, your channel ID now the channel ID choice for all things tech. But, I just bought this as a stop gap from my last Poco flagship killer to the next one (whenever Poco decide to tell us). For the price the hardware is great. However, even though I really like the UI (normally) this smartphone is useless. Looks nice, but just doesn't work. I've had it five days, touch issue. Some Text messages not coming through. Dodgy WiFi connection. Touch issues. Notifications not coming through on non Poco apps, the list goes on. Not good enough, no matter the price and looks. I get the feeling I should of just bought the F3 instead of holding out for the F4.
Don't trust nokia anymore for faster updates, I have nokia 5.3 and waiting for Android 11 since October 2020. They have three ROADMAPS for android 11 and have failed three times with updates. They are also miserable with monthly security patches, its almost end of July but I'm still on may 2021, worst of all they are skipping monthly patch as well. They never released April patch and just may update from March patch
Just had my wife in the Philippines buy 3 128GB models for $37USD each. Just because. For gifts or garden work phones. At that price they are compelling.
I wonder which one is better realme 8 5g 8/128 or poco m3 pro 5g 6/128. Planning to get a new phone for my father. He's using Mi A1. Function-wise Poco is closer to his old phone (but I don't really know if he use it at all). Realme on the other hand got better performance. I don't have that much money, but It's kinda painful seeing him got worst phone in the family by a high margin. (With this he still got the worst, but not that bad).
I would complain more about the videos being ten minutes long for the sake of monetary gain if it weren't for that sassy British whit and sexy cat girls being so distracting.

I wish the x3 nfc, x3 pro, and redmi note 10 pro had the same 4G connectivity here in the US (AT&T).

Which would you recommend the F3 or this🤔
F3 is twice the price , so obviously its a much better smartphone. It boils down to how much money you want to spend.
