I was dubious at first. I’m not a gadget guy. I love my Fitbit and I’m fascinated by the sleep and resting heart rate graphs. You can see the improvement in fitness. This is a great motivator.
I was a huge fitbit fan. Unfortunately, there are a few things people should consider before purchasing it. I owned the fitbit charge 2, and I went through three replacements. I bought one and the glue that held the fitbit together melted. FItbit was nice enough to send me a replacement but the replacement had battery problems. They sent another replacement and it worked for three months until the battery gave out. I gave fitbit another try and bought the fitbit Ionic. It was amazing however, the battery was damaged after one year. I contacted fitbit and they said it was beyond the warranty. My wife also had an ionic and the battery was an issue. we have done research and it appears it is a common issue.
I am not trying to sway your opinion but you should do your research before buying.

Have Fitbit charge I love it, 3 yrs old thinking about upgrading . After watching the comparison on the on Fitbit Versa 2 & Apple Watch . Going with Fitbit . Use Fitbit for tracking sleep(mainly) & charge it about every 4 days

I had the Fitbit Alta HR for maybe 2 years and recently switched to the S5 Apple Watch. I really love it! I like that it tracks movement in general where the Alta really only tracks steps and workouts. The Apple Watch keeps track of how many flights of stairs I take, whether they’re split or one straight flight, where the Alta only noticed straight up and down flights of stairs. I do miss sleep tracking and multi-day battery but I also don’t mind detaching from technology while I’m sleeping and when the AOD is off I can get about 2 days from the watch. It was definitely an upgrade for me.

I love my series 5 with display always on in OFF mode I get 2 days of battery life. I also love Apple for being on top with updates that's something my Samsung Gear wasn't good about!!!

I loved to see an updated video between the Series 5 or 6 & the new Fitbit Versa 3 & the new Fitbit Sense smartwatches. The Versa 3 & Sense have built-in GPS. The Versa 3 now has a built-in speaker as well

I HAD BOTH I LIKE FITBIT
The Apple Watch with LTE costs ~$100 more than without. Did you mention that? I chose the Versa 2 for the much lower cost and much, much better battery life.

Not a fair comparison and different price tier, I actually bought both series 5 and fitbit versa 2. Definitely series 5 is better but settled for a series 3.

The galaxy active 2 is better. Tracks your sleep natively. Looks better. Spotify actually works. Longer battery.
It’s simple:you own an iphone go for the apple watch or if you have an android go for the watch active 2
what do you say about the accurate in fitbit versa 2?
I know, it is annoying that Fitbit doesnt include more exercises. I do more than what's on the watch and I have to use a general workout mode, which I do not think is as accurate.

I don't really know how you could compare these two since one is a true smartwatch and the other is a fitness oriented tracker with some smartwatch features. Not to mention the price-point is so vastly different. It doesn't seem like they're on any kind of the same level. They're two different products for two different markets.

Made one really bad point. Fitness trackers are made for fitness tracking and smartwatches are not specifically designed for fitness tracking at all but it’s an added perk to many of them, including Apple Watch. Health features are more of a perk on Apple Watch over fitness tracking as a whole. Having the heart rate through the day, dB Meter, ECG, Air Quality, etc is all health based but not fitness based. Fitness trackers have a history of much longer battery life but also a lot fewer features and they key in on fitness solely. Usually no or few third party apps, limited connection to notifications, lower quality displays, etc. Most people wanting fitness trackers go for Garmin, Fitbit, Polar, etc. Apple Watch users primarily want them for the tech features, calls, texts, complications, etc. There is some crossover but most runners and fitness focused people will stay away from Apple Watch. Smartwatches definitely are not primarily fitness trackers so it’s really out of line to make that a primary focus in comparison because that’s really the only comparison to justify the video solely. Just because they both go on the wrist and tell time doesn’t mean they are the same category at all. It’s like trying to say Sunglasses and Google Glass are the same thing and need compared or comparing fútbol and American football just because they share a similar name.

Himcor it can do sleep tracking but you have to use a third party app such as sleepwatch. It works well for me but it would be better if they had a native app.

You dont have to bring your phone when you run with fitbit. I use it every day, u just upload to the phone after the work out.

Have had several fit bits but one of the down side of it is that I don’t know what it is but the plastic straps always bring me up in a rash and I’m not allergic to anything
Upgraded from the original versa to the versa 2. Bought yesterday for $129 from Kohl’s and they gave me $20 Kohl’s cash so $109. No brainer.
You forgot that Fitbit versa 2 has a sp02 sensor ! Yes yes it has that .
I'd pick the fitbit if the screen ratio wasn't that small and the edges of it weren't so noticeable.
It's not that noticeable when you actually have the watch on. The camera just makes the edges very visible.

Just how you made the iPod work with windows, do the same with the watch to android. You would sell about 100 million more watches. PS I’m still rocking Apple Watch V 1 and loving it
Apple Watch is the number one selling wearable and the number one selling watch in the world. I do not think the lack of Android support is hurting it so far.

Honestly, I’d get myself an Apple Watch if I had an iPhone. I don’t, though. And I won’t get one. iPhones are not worth the price in my opinion, as android devices offer more. Such a pity :(

I dont mind the battery life in apple watch because i charge it every night. The other one, i always have to check the battery if it is already 5th day or 4th or 6th day.
I've went thru 2 different fitbits to specifically spot differences & both were inaccurate wl my steps & sleep which are the two I find most important. I wanted to like the fitbit more but I have to say the apple watch.

I Charge Mine While I’m Sleep, And I’ll Usually Have About Half A Battery Left, When I Went On The Road It Lasted About 20Hrs And Was Still At About 30% Before I Charged It

The battery life on the apple watch kills it for me because I have sleep apnea and want to track my sleep without having to charge my watch all the time. Going with the fitbit.

The sleep data is kept in the health app on iPhone. Also if you want to extent the battery life of the apple watch turn off raise to wake if you have an active job. I have the original apple watch and it wasn't making a full day. I turned off the raise to wake and suddenly the watch had tons of battery left at the end of the day.
For a good price just bought the Iwatch series -4, loving it though , almost same features of series 5 ,

I recently bought a used apple watch series 4, 44 mm for 270€ (~300$, new price iny my country is 420€ ~470$) and I really enjoy it :D I had a really cheap 35$ alternative before, which was okay but not that great, but I bought the apple watch since the display is much bigger and you can do a lot more on it. So if you have an iPhone and want an apple watch, search for a cheaper used one!

I bought my Apple Watch 3 about a month ago and I love it. I’m a runner and not taking my phone but still being able to stream music to my AirPods without my phone is a game changer. So yeah. Apple Watch is better and Apple lowered its price and with the amazon price match at target, I bought mine for 169

Seems like a hard sell with the Series 3 being sold for closer to the Versa's cost, plus with something newer hopefully replacing it in September. Imo the Versa needs to be like, 149.
Fitbit is good enough for me! But I do have a question. When swiping on excercises, my display doesn't come up like the one shown with actual people...is there something I'm missing?
I nearly cancelled my online order for the versa 2 while watching the video. She said the versa 2 didn't have full color ambient. While canceling I saw a software update added full color always on display. Update your video!!

First time I was making a decision between Versa and Apple watch - i chose Versa - because battery life and i wanted an activity tracker... I did love my Versa, but the battery never lasted 5 days. I think i got like 3.5 days first 3 months, and then i was getting 1.5 day, and after 6 months 1 day, and then it wouldnt last whole day, and after 1 year and 3 months it simply died! After i took of charger, it was hot, and wouldnt turn on! Thank Good i had extended warranty. Of course, Versa was unrepairable, and i got my 249.00 back! Apple Watch 5 came out few days later and i got it! I loooove it and i would NOT go back to Fitbit!
Best Buy even stopped selling warranties at I believe FitBit's request because they were claimed for breaking during that time almost ALL the time. I used to use the original Alta, and it was inconsistent Bluetooth, so claimed my warranty and got a Huawei Watch 2. That was a great upgrade, until it had it's own battery issues, but with that warranty and over time, got that money to get a Series 3 at regular price and $40 back towards the iPhone X. Landed at the better option myself.

Get an Apple watch series 3 or Samsung active. They are better options than Fitbit. Plus Fitbit does not support multiple languages for example arabic.

I ruined my Fitbit 1 by showering with it for over a year which made the screen glitch out and was going back and forth with the Apple Watch series 3 and FV2 but the battery and distraction of the watch just throws me off. I will be investing in a FV2 for these reasons. It worked so well for my lifestyle and the Apple Watch needs to step it up when it comes to working with android phones and battery life.

Ya, I like the apple, but not even a days worth of battery!! (I'm a droid guy, was watching for wife). My Samsung only gives me a day as well, but it is 3 years old.
I bought the Fitbit versa-2 for her, but didn't realise it wouldn't pair as well with her apple phone, for texts and such. That stinks. But still, I think she'd rather have 4 days than maybe one. No good when it's dead, that's how my Samsung is lol. It works well for a night, if it's blue toothed to my phone.
And much better. If you are an apple user then you just sync. Fitbit forces you to pay for cheap subscriptions to all of their apps. Also the syncing is flawed you sync music through your desktop not phone app. Annoying.
