It felt great to find someone that I can relate to since I was locked up. When I was 15, I had gotten locked up for a year and a half in the Texas Juvenile Justice Department. I got out right before I turned 17 ( which I'm 17 right now.) And when I got out felt like I was left as an outsider with no one to go to or anything but when I found Larry's channel it made me feel better about myself because I realized that I wasn't alone and how many other people like me have went through this trouble.
I hope you know that you should be so proud of yourself for making it through dark times and choosing to look for positivity You are not alone honey , remember one of the best ways to stay in a good path is by helping others and sharing your own experiences. I don't care if it's beating drugs, alcohol, jail, abusive childhood, abusive marriage, etc pulling other people up just seems to keep us straight. Bless you 💖
Hey Larry, just got your book today after being a long time viewer! Looking forward to starting it tonight. As someone who really didn't know anything about the prison system, watching you describe your time has been both enlightening and infuriating. You've really changed the way I look at prisons/inmates/guards. Love what you do!
Love the content larry i used to be a trobled teen but seeing what you've been through has helped a ton anytime I've even had the thought of doing something i shouldn't its you that stops me keep it up
Hey that’s real good. He’s a great guy to learn from! I used to run the streets with gangsters doing drugs etc, and I’m really glad a young person is seeing the pitfalls and avoiding them. No advice or anything I just want to say good work Kade! Keep finding positive role models and stay away from the bad stuff. You’re going to have a great life with that attitude! God bless you kid
It’s my birthday today Larry and I just have to say I’m so grateful for freedom and I’m most thankful for a another year of good health and being debt free. Much love to my family and everyone else out there 💙
Seeing that pain in Larry’s eyes when he’s recalling whatever traumatic moment he’s thinking about physically hurts my chest. Then i start thinking about All the men and women that have been through the prison system here in the United States…there are *an incomprehensible amount of people walking around with severe PTSD from their time behind bars* and they are permanently damaged by the system in that way. We need, as a society, to address this madness- _immediately if not sooner_
Larry, that speech about living life the way you are, and not pretending to be anyone else to please other people, was exactly what I needed to hear right now. Thanks for always telling it like it is, and stay awesome.
Man I appreciate the positive vibes and advice you give. It's crazy the life you had then had to go through the shit you have and are able to have the outlook you do on life. Your an inspiration brother.
Hi Larry! Great video , I grew on in Lackland A.F.B in San Antonio, Tx and The King and his Court use to come and play and one time they played my dads squadron's team and it was so awesome. They are like the Harlem Globetrotters of softball. I love your personality and ethics so much. Thank you so much for sharing all of your positivity and light. God Bless you and your family 💖 Edit: Spelling, as always 😂
Lynyrd Skynyrd on acid is the best thing to ever exist. It’s like you’re right there in the late 60s early 70s jamming. Lynyrd Skynyrd on acid, I repeat, LYNYRD SKYNYRD ON ACID!
I had a similar experience on Acid Larry. I was up north in Michigan on it and I was tripping and looking at the stars, listening to ambient Skyrim music and I had an out of body experience where it felt like I was flying through the sky. It was wild.
A lot of people will not believe good times in prison can be had. I had several good times in combat, some shit is just so dam funny. Made great friends. No matter where you are positive mental attitude is essential to surviving. I do pray for you Larry.
I’ve learned a lot from your videos Larry, you have educated me on prisons, your a great story teller, I could listen to you all day and not get bored, even though I’m from the UK it’s still interesting learning about the prisons in America
larry i've been following u when u had less than 20,000 followers and your video editing skills have drastically improved! i almost thought i was tripping watching the screen before the woods 😂
10:09 A wedding in prison isn’t weird to me. It’s beautiful. I think you were lucky to experience that. The couple is even luckier. That’s really wholesome no matter the circumstances. It sucks that it had to be in prison but that’s life.
When people ask me about jail an prison I tell them about all the fun times I had cause honestly I definitely had way more fun times then bad times. Glad this video was made.
My uncle was in the the Atlanta prison in the mid 2000s. I remember he was bragging about meeting Woody Harrelson’s dad there. We are related to them and he thought it was the coolest thing ever.
Hey Larry, you make amazing videos. I always find myself binge watching your videos. ( What were some of your favourite songs you used to listen to when you were in prison or on acid ). Much love 🖤
I've dropped L a few times when I was younger- concerts, parties, a musical one time haha I think I prefer the trip from mushrooms a bit more cause it feels less jarring to me; I can be kinda wimpy when it comes to psychedelics. Also, I had an idea for future content potentially! I remember reading a Cracked article in highschool about 5 people who changed the world from inside prison. I remember one guy named Stroud who studied birds while he was locked up for murder and ended up becoming an authority on bird diseases and ornithology. Another guy devised the building the Eerie Canal while he was doing time. Just some for-instances from that article, but of course you could add whoever you like, it's your channel haha just a thought man!
I’ve had a trip like that before I’ve had floated up over my body and I could see everyone from above me trying to get me back. It was quite the experience
Hi Larry, really enjoying your content. You're a great communicator and very entertaining. I appreciate you sharing your experiences, despite the trauma it may bring back and, how private these stories are to you. I appreciate it, and I know others do too. I'm in the UK, and your book is really difficult to get, it costs over £100 to order. I was wondering why you haven't pushed the sale overseas?
...believe the acid stories because they are true. Its a super drug when a good trip.... horrifying on a bad one. Been there done that both good n bad. Keep doing what your doing Larry, really enjoy your stories!
Damn dude I never thought I'd be able to talk to somebody like you, no offensive course it's so interesting hearing your stories and the good you've done for people it's heartwarming, stay strong in these crazy times
One of my best moments was when the bully in jail got moved to a different cell block for sexual harassment. It made time go back faster. And taco Tuesdays were the best!
eh why is that particular thing "my best moment" as you put it??? no offense man but most of these youtube comments are cliched, weird AND sound forced
One of my favorite places to trip was in school, and I got the same questions you did Larry. "how can you trip in school and not freak out?!" I used to just zone out on the carpet in my school. They had the best carpet to stare at and hallucinate on.
Larry you have quickly become my favorit UA-camr. I have so much in common with you even though I have never been to prison. I’ve been in and out of the psych ward , and BOY are there some similarities. I love love love your open minded attitude. ☺️☺️
Larry, you had your fun the way you could. No judgement from me, heck I like playing video games, fun is all about perspective my brother, and sounds like you had a good time, and I could get behind that
Took five hits at Camp Creek one year, literally figured out life that night, still to this day 20 years later one of the best nights of my life 🤣🤣🤣 Pink Floyd The Wall changed my life
Damn Larry! Thank you for your relatable experiences! ASP softball 1995-1999. They took it away. Didn't take our acid away tho haha! I was up for 2 days from a stamp once.. WHEW! Love your vids.
Hey Larry I loved how you mentioned the greatful dead and acid I went to a 3 day long greatful dead music festival having the time of my life tripping balls off liquid acid what a hell of a time man
Hey Larry, have you seen the first episode of the 8th season of House MD ? House is in prison and a lot of the things in the episode made me think about your storys.
Here’s a fun way to look at it: The glass is neither half full nor half empty. It’s just half full of water and half full of air, so it’s ALWAYS full :-)
Im not always a very sociable person and listening to Larry makes me not want to kill people when I am not in a particularly great mood, i medicate then relax the way needed and prescribed and suggested and then I GTF2S after the videos :) all my worries disappear when Larry speaks his wisdom
I'm not sure if you ever went through this but what happens in prison when theres some form of natural disaster. Tornado, hurricane, earthquake, wildfire, flooding.I'm assuming most prisons can withstand a bad storm but was there ever a concern during a storm that it couldn't?
First!🤣 love your stuff Larry. I've never been locked up but I really have a heart for inmates. What you're doing is giving them a voice. Love ya Larr💙✌
When I tripped on acid I felt like a plant. I don't know how else to describe it. I had this overwhelming sense of anxiety until I lay down on the grass in the yard. Suddenly all my panic turned to relaxation. Weird. I also puked three times but it wasn't bad. I felt so much better after I puked. First and last time trying acid.
It felt great to find someone that I can relate to since I was locked up. When I was 15, I had gotten locked up for a year and a half in the Texas Juvenile Justice Department. Keep your mind right and keep a straight line. Make the future, a result of your past experience
Texas juvenile is daycare compared to Jail/prison lmao.

Words of wisdom from Larry- “don’t change your life for other people.”
That's probably meant to be taken with a grain of salt.
CHANGE UR LIFE FIR CHRIST

Doing acid in the 70's. You brought back some fond memories. Window pane, blotter, those orange barrels. Mescaline as well. Fun times.

It was dope hearing you talk about stocks. Makes it sound more straight forward. Anyway, another dope video man, good stuff!

The best time I had in prison is the day that I got out.
But good Lord that was an overwhelming day. So much input.
It wasnt master bating on the toilet ?
It’s inspiring how you made the best of a bad situation.
