- This video is on the knife I am using as an analog for the Pohl Force Mk 8 knife. I am still waiting on the Pohl Force blades that I pre-ordered in March 2021. Apparently, the Mk 8 and Mk 9 CNC Squared blades are selling like hot cakes.
This is an appetizer for me until the Pohl Force blades come in.

I have this Anglo Arms Bowie. I really like it. It looks more authentic then the licensed HCG Bowie. Only the scales are to thin!

Ordered both MK8 and MK9 on 03.22.21 - apparently we won't be getting the signature editions as they were limited to the first 1200 only.
Did Pohl Force inform you on that?
As long as the knives are still the same quality minus the signature, I’ll be cool with that.

@@fugu_facesr.7081 They did not say anything, I just concluded that on my own. Also, the initial run seems to have sold out quickly because it went from "In Stock" to "Back in stock: expected June". Maybe I will hear back from the regarding my order sometime in June, then.

I also noticed that the Mk8 & Mk9s tended to be in stock and out several times. The demand was indeed more than expected.
I also noticed that various larger knife UA-camrs got their sets earlier than the rest. Also, the customers that just ordered either the Mk8 or the Mk9 by itself received theirs quite fast. Oh well.
I’m in the same boat you are. I ordered both knives over a month ago and never got an invoice. But I continue to see people who order them individually receive theirs immediately. So frustrating!
Very nice looking. I'm surprised the guard is titanium. That's impressive because the Pohl CNC2 went with stainless steel, which is heavier. You should do a weigh comparison with the Pohl version when you get it.

Yeah, I was surprised it’s titanium. I thought it was aluminum, but when I tried to scratch the guard with a hardened pick (underneath the scales) it didn’t react how anodized aluminum would. Also, with the guard being made of titanium, I like the balance of the knife.
Definitely, I will compare the two whenever the Pohl Force Mk8 shows up.

The way this blade is made really impressed me. To some, the A8 steel isn’t ideal because of potential corrosion, but I’m fine with high carbon steel blades because most of my go to / defensive blades are made of high carbon steel and I’m use to maintaining them.
Feeling the balance and overall handling of this Mk8 clone really reinforces my desire to have the Pohl Mk8 now.

I have the Anglo arms mk8.it was only 40usd.the scales are wood.the only issue.but I really don't care.the tang.its only an inch and half long.and the shroud is spot welded on.
