    Good content - I'm not interested in changing my setup but it's good to know this is out there!

      Thank you very much for the comment. If you have a setup that's working for you then definitely don't change it. My setup was being negatively impacted so I really wanted to switch things up. Thanks again.

    Ulanzi has one that I really like. Looks good and low profile and low price

      Hi, my friend. I have never heard of Ulanzi. I'll look that one up. I'm sure there are plenty I haven't seen before that are more than serviceable. Thank you for checking out the video and for the comment. I'll look up the Ulanzi and see what it looks like.

    I’m going to be very interested in your thoughts after a few months. Please don’t forget to give some thoughts then. I know people might complain about it being stiff, but that will be a good thing a couple years from now. At present, I’m having to use the Innogear large because it’s long enough to get over my monitors. However, with this trifold design and the joints being nice and stiff, I might be able to use it with my c414 and get a better positioning for day-to-day use.
    Thanks for another great review.

      The only thing to remember is if you are dodging gear on the desk, the first section off this arm does NOT lay flat as that would completely render the arm useless. It has a hard stop that looks like these keys right= / left= \ otherwise it couldn't bear weight like it does. I tried to convey that in the video but just wanting to clarify that.
      I will put a note in my calendar to do a follow up video about the boom arm in 3 months.

    Dear Hank, thank 🙏 you so much once again for this great video. Although I have two microphone boom arms already. Unfortunately they are still the wrong ones for my modest desk setup. I think through you I have finally found the right most flexible them, now. Which also my heavy Rode NT-1A reasonably floats in the air. The price is acceptable. They offer the mic boom arm in two colors anthracite and black. I think anthracite will be my choice. I have to sleep on it one time. If I can‘t get no sleep I have to order it.
    Do you have for me the length of one of the three link arms please? The complete length is something like 26.77 inches/68 cm, so it should be around 9.05 inches/22.65 cm, right?
    If I order this directly, do you get anything or do you have to order through Amazon that you get something out of it?
    Please keep up the good work. A loyal and mostly silent subscriber from Bavaria. Take care and Servus!

      Thank you so much for your great comment. I appreciate the kind words and support.
      Each link is closer to 8 inches with a swivel link in between each section that makes up the difference to get it to a total of 26.77 inches.
      If you end up ordering it, please take the discount from the manufacturer's page. I'd rather you get a good deal than worry about any Amazon affiliate links. I'm so happy to share this arm with everyone. That's what's most important for me.
      Always sleep on important decisions especially when it comes to money. You may end up waiting and finding an even better solution. They tend to reveal themselves after some reflection. Although I am sold on this particular model, I'm sure other people will have something they like better.
      Thank you for being a subscriber. I am very grateful you are.

    Hay una video reseña en amazon donde se muestra que después de un par semanas el brazo se cae. Cuanto tiempo resiste este brazo en si?

      Lo he tenido durante más de un mes y hasta ahora es sólido como una roca para mí. Haré otro vídeo después de 90 días. Probablemente me haga uno a los 6 meses y al año también.

    Did my comment got removed? 🤔

    • @FreePodcastTools
      @FreePodcastTools  Рік тому +1

      did you have a link in it? If so, those get automatically filtered due to the never ending spam on UA-cam. If not, I don't know why it would be missing.

    • @soulmanager
      @soulmanager Рік тому +1

      @@FreePodcastTools no, no links, I just mentioned brands like Elgato and Ulanzi. And provided feedback for you, I thought that it was removed because you felt offended by it and it was just an observation about how the microphone in most of your videos when you are facing the front camera covers your mouth and chin, and that you may want to try putting the microphone a bit to the side... That was it.

    • @FreePodcastTools
      @FreePodcastTools  Рік тому +1

      @@soulmanager no offense taken. I agree with your take on the mic placement. I've started doing just that again for future videos. I had it out front for my gear video newsletter and voice overs to get the fullest sound I could get.
      I'm not sure why the comment wouldn't show up. I even checked filtered comments and it wasn't in there either. It does happen from time to time and I don't know what is causing it.
      Thanks for the constructive feedback. I appreciate it.
