Its amazing how I haven't seen some of these ads since 1993, and yet as soon as I see them, I remember them. Also, while some look dated, over-all, it feels modern. Makes it hard to believe that it was nearly 30 years ago!
I saw them when I was 7 ,a can of coke and a pack of chips was 2 bucks from the corner store,my old man paid 4 bucks for a pack of horizon red cigarettes 50s ,a bus ticket was 80 cents, zone’s were just being thought about back then, the busses had windows u could open and red rooster was once called big rooster and a Big Mac meal large was around 4 bucks, and there was always cigarettes and alcohol commercials until u spineless jellyfish early and late millennials come along, the nineties was tougher, millennium is spinless, I forgot to mention the 1 cent lolly shop, when there was 1 cent and 2 cent pieces still in circulation with 2 cents or even 5 cents as a kid it’s big lolly money,I remember finding a paper 5$ note near the bus stop and I even found a paper 20$ note, because I was 7 I obviously only bought toys and lollys,my older brother once said to me when they first brought out plastic 5 dollar notes he thought he lost the note because he couldn’t feel it
The early nineties,I’m talking about 1992 when a can of coke and a pack of chips cost 2 bucks from a corner store and my dad paid a few dollars for a packet of horizon red,way before the green packaging cigarettes, but u have no idea
2 bucks these days buys nothing, not even a bus ticket which was 40 cents in 1992 and remember big rooster which is obviously red rooster now ,the meals were way better
Its like stepping back in time, I remember all of these. Thanks heaps!!!
Nice more Queensland ads! You’ve made this young Queenslander proud, mate! Thank you!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The fisher & pickel ad at the 3 min mark is advertising as an Olympic partner for Sunday 2000. 7 years away yet.

17:37 Great ad for The Institution of Engineers, Australia, but why did they need one?
Shoulder pads were still all the rage!
They were in the transitional slimline shoulderpad era.
Can you upload commercial breaks with The Good Guys in them
