Just something about me…
Since prior to my entry into the wedding industry, I have been considered to be one of the most reputable lighting specialists in the Philippines, conducting workshops nationwide and have been featured in various photography magazines. I was also a multi-awarded portrait and advertising photographer.
My expertise is in manipulating ambient and artificial light to create clean and classic photographs which naturally led me to the genre of portrait and wedding photography. Since then, I have shot numerous weddings locally and overseas exhibiting my signature style.
I am also a :

Great job as always!
My only question is the horizon line isn’t better to keep it below subject chest or in this case does not matter please explain your opinion on this one thank you!!
Excellent Video as always sir.
Great video!!
Your videos are always very interesting and well done, which I watch with great interest because I really like to deepen the use of falsh. I am an amateur photographer, not a professional, and as such I have no opportunity to photograph with flash light modifiers, not so much for their cost, but because in my photographic outings I would have no way of having them with me.
I would therefore like to invite you to a small challenge: a series of videos for amateurs and non-professionals that explain how to get the most benefit from the use of speedlight (even more than one) without the use of modifiers. That is, with the equipment that an amateur photographer can take with him on a normal "trip": a camera (obviously), 1 or 2 speedlights, the trigger, a camera stand and, at most, a telescopic extension to support the speedlight. Also excluding a flash stand. This equipment, already abundant in some cases, is what a "father of a family" manages to carry in his backpack on an outdoor trip in which he "also" takes pictures. I know very well that these conditions are very restrictive, but who could carry a softbox and its stand in their backpack for example during a Sunday excursion to the sea or in the mountains with family or friends? It is anomalous that you bring 1 or 2 speedlights, but since it is the use of the speedlight that I want to deepen, this must be had. I take the liberty of launching this proposal because I am sure that your experience can be of great help to those who, like me, are just an amateur photographer who is very intrigued and attracted by the use of flash and tries to take some particularly accurate photographs on the weekend when it is on a trip with family or friends, you will probably be able to give us many tips to minimize or hide the inconveniences associated with the absence of diffusers that increase the size of the light source.
Here’s an old video which you might enjoy. ua-cam.com/video/jU1htr9hh6Y/v-deo.html
I love your videos (and of course your work!). what is your favorite ND filter you can recommend?
I always wondered how you did these wide angle shots without having the flash in frame. Seems stupid obvious now 😅. I need to start using my camera tripod more
Nice! It’s simple right :)
