The MDA Labor Day Telethon was an enchanting yearly variety show that ran for half a century. Hosted for many years by Jerry Lewis, the telethon featured top stars from the world of music, comedy, and Broadway and was like no other show on earth.

I saw Vic with My Mother when I was 6. I could not believe what I was hearing. I didnt move in my seat. I was just floored. I went home w Mom and asked for more records. Im 58 now. That hasnt changed.
Apart from those great musicals Vic made in the FIFTIES - His voice has matured beautifully and I'd venture to say - the 1980s was his best ! Fabulous singer !

Absolutely agree, like a fine wine Vic's voice just got better and better. I saw him in 1984 at The Royal Festival Hall in London (available on You Tube & DVD) and it was a fantastic concert that you didn't want to end.
