The answer is obvious (when you know the NFS Carbon uses an actual Ford GT sound instead of a generic Mustang sound for stock). And yes it did. Also not to mention that the NFS MW 2005 Ford GT don't change its sound when it is stock or upgraded (only the supercharger does). Even if the same sound from NFS MW 2005 for the exhaust as upgraded sound is still used, it much better than NFS MW 2005's that only changes the supercharger sound during the upgrades. Edit: Maybe you should do a comparison videos like some cars that are in NFS MW 2005 and Carbon comparison like Mitsubishi Evo 8 vs Mitsubishi Evo 9 (they look similar even if they are not the exact model but still) and etc. If you keep these series then I'll rate NFS MW 2005 0:1 NFS Carbon.
Okay! Thank you for your suggestions! I'll definitely do more videos like this one, maybe I'll add Underground 2 too, for the cars that we found in all these 3 games. Now I wish I finished the other NFS Games too before I started this, Undercover and Pro Street could have awesome car sounds to compare. Anyway, maybe I'll use NFS MW 2012 and NFS The Run too in my next videos. 🙂
One thing I hate about the sounds of Carbon is all the cars sound like they are shifting at 4-5k. Need for speed MW sounds like they are revving all the way out to redline!
The Carbon one is much louder as you can hear because it is added in the engine sound and not as separated ast the NFS MW 2005 one. There is another sound that has supercharger in the engine sound and that might be no surprise the Mercedes SLR sound from NFS MW 2005. Also the so called SL65 is rather a "dublicate" but I guess Black Box made mistake of calling it SL65 when it literally sounds like SL55.
My PC can't handle, actually my GPU, I can play it, but not with High Settings and because of that I prefer to not play it now. I want to play Need For Speed 2015 and a lot more NFS Games before NFS HEAT. 🙂

Both Ford GT sounds are inaccurate. Why? Well for starters the supercharger sound is fake, mw sound is from a Mustang. Carbon's sounds is barely accurate as it sounds bassy. To be realistically accurate: use corvette_z06_v2 mix with bmw_m5 (mw variant)
After NFS Carbon, Black Box Studio wanted to made a larger scale open world games than before, but they need 2 years to developed. On the other hand, EA Executives wanted NFS to released annually, so Black Box made a filler from one half of development team and released as Pro Street. This is why the game kinda feels rushed.

Nfs carbon sounded like the GT has automatic or dct trans. MW got it right because the GT only comes with a manual.

Nfs mw using mustang sound bro . Nfs carbon literally use ford gt sound
