@NFIGamingZone It might be the game's AI and rubberbanding but that car is HARD to beat when you first come up against it. Then again, I'm usually using a Miata, so that might explain it.
The Corolla (AE86) is technically the fastest at max speed. With the right dyno tuning in the game it can go up to 249mph. Unfortunately, you lose so much torque it isn't really worth it. All the cars in U2 are speed demons if you know your way around dyno tuning. You could even tune the SUV's to drift if you're crazy enough. This game needs to be remastered.
Yeah, that's why I used them with default settings, to set a standard time so after the Dyno tuning you'll know you didn't maked the car worst. 😂 SUV's for drift would be really fun to try! 🤣
No the gto can get 268mph, mustang gt can do 250mph+ same with R34 Gtr but its cool we at least know top speeds not the defining factor in Underground 2.
@@TehButterflyEffectWith the right tuning it's pretty fast and is one of the best handling cars in the game, I personally tested it on the Outer Ring (I chose to test on the Outer Ring, because it is a track with high-speed sections and curves, so cars that are good in both aspects will benefit the most, but also cars that are very good at one thing to the detriment of the other will not be at a disadvantage) and I got the 5th best time with it (being that I modified all the cars to be more powerful and with better acceleration).
Yeah, but so far it isn't the fastest in a circuit. Check my livestreams with the 1 LAP CIRCUIT race test. I'll try to get a better time with the car, out of the stream, but I don't think it can beat Ford Focus. 😂
I used to test top speed until I hit the limiter with N2O and fully built cars on the highway from Coal Harbor -> Garage -> Flags. Supra was real disappointment in top speed. Peugeot 206 was the fastest from first cars.
I did the same test back in a days, but every car was tuned on dyno. 240SX easily defeated all opponents. Also did the handling test on StreetX - no car was even close to Corolla. 240SX took the second place in the handling test, making it the best multipurpose car in the game in my opinion ('cause Corolla pretty bad in drag).
Actually the sad part is the suvs can keep up with cars in multi-player an stop using the green for launch some cars. Actually, launch harder that others. The hardest one is the 240sx if you can tune that first gear right an us nitro at the same time. Another fun fact the train yard drag in reverse only the suv with make the jump at the end across the gap.
It depends. Without special parts, Supra and Tiburon are very hard to corner fast, especially Jackson Heights is a nightmare with these cars. They have good top end speed for drag racing but they are losing off the line. Celica is very nicely balanced in this game, best acceleration, good speed for URL or Circuits. Audis are very understeery to say the least. Razor sharp cornering on Street X 86 or Peugeot 106 in the European Version (why did they include 206?!?). Focus, GTO and Mustang are bad in this game (they butchered big time the V8 power). Lexus spins a lot, GTO is very slow. So for me based on racing disciplines here it is: Drag Racing: EVO/Skyline/Imprezza/A3. Circuit racing: Celica/Skyline/350Z/RX8. Sprint racing: Civic/206(106)/Celica/RX7 Street X: 86/206(106)/Celica/RX8 Drifting: Eclipse/Civic/Celica/86 (it's powersliding, not drifting) Personal favourite cars: Celica, RX8, EVO/Skyline, 350Z, 86/106. Skyline to be honest is OP in Underground series, Supra in both Underground series is medium to crap, Eclipse OP in Underground 1, Celica OP in both Underground series. The best two cars in the series are Skyline and Celica.
What about tunning? You can build 2jz with complitly flat torque curve and peak power at last rpm or build mustang with no power under half of rpm and all power over it.
Here I just set the standard using the default settings so we can know if the car performance actually improved after changing them. :) Also, I don't remember seeing a wheelie in the drag races even with the NOS right after the start (check my older drag races, about 4 years ago).
What kind of setup do u use on the cars? I mean what tune? Just default or some custom settings? I'm just wondering because quiet a few of these cars can do a lot more
So you mean at the very beginning of the game, youre given the second quickest car, and its somehow faster than the only 2 V8 cars in a drag race? Im sorry, but if only thr game let you crank the boost up, that woukd be changed quickly. I mean the GTO has a 6.0 V8, or a 5.7 if you want to be conservative, and its only pushing like 14 pounds of boost compared to the 240's 28 psi? Like seriously, come on
@@Dudu_Gomes.1990 I have no idea. That's the way they work I suppose. All of them are equally tuned. You can see it in the Livestreams I did with these races.
The 240sx and RX7 were best in drags. I believe RX7 was unltimately faster but you had to be quick with the shifts. I had cars with and without the widebody. Without was faster but the tuning and shifting was much harder. Sometimes the car would flip from the wheelies and uncontrolable lane switching on the launch. There was also an ECU dyno glitch to get you an extra 7-8hp. Absolutely lived this game.
All that speed means nothing if you cant get through the curves. Face it: there is (by far) no better car than the corolla. I would only drive something else for drag race. Everything else the corolla wins

Yeah, I already saw it. You'll gain about 5 Km/h more in every shift and that's a lot! 😁 I remember watching the last shift going with just 1 km/h more before reaching the finish line and just that improved my time by over 0.10 seconds! 😂
Seeing a HUMMER do 0-60 in less than 2 seconds is fucking hilarious.
@@TrueSkyl1n3 Yeah, that's how games work! 😂

Yo that Lexus start up really surprised me

Awesome video nicely done 👍🏻

@@NFIGamingZone I've also done a new Video and mentioned U In case you didnt notice :D
@@SHEERRAA Okay. I didn't noticed it, I don't have enough free time to be able to create videos and to enjoy watching other UA-camrs. I'll try to check it fast now.
who knew you'd get two of the most powerful cars in the beginning lineup?
Well, this explains why Ishii's 350Z is so hard to beat in Underground.
Not really. We'll see how fast that is when I'll do my best with the cars from NFS Underground. :)
SUV's for drift would be really fun to try! 🤣
No the gto can get 268mph, mustang gt can do 250mph+ same with R34 Gtr but its cool we at least know top speeds not the defining factor in Underground 2.
The Corolla is so dang slow though. Maybe it has the top dynon speed, but it's absolutely atrocious on the street.
@@TehButterflyEffect Yeah, I saw that in the Fastest 1 LAP CIRCUIT, LIVE. :))
Nostalgia and refreshing THIS...THIS IS what we want in the gaming thrilled racing not this nfs unbound crap 😢😢😢
The Corolla is the best car in terms of handling, in street-x it will pull any car with a big order.
That's why they chose the 350Z as the flagship/cover car for the game for a reason.
@@valferdinandmonissabiano8641 I was thinking the same after I finished the video! 😂
You should definitely check my livestreams. I'm doing my best for the fastest car in 1 LAP Circuit. :D
Actually the sad part is the suvs can keep up with cars in multi-player an stop using the green for launch some cars. Actually, launch harder that others. The hardest one is the 240sx if you can tune that first gear right an us nitro at the same time.
Another fun fact the train yard drag in reverse only the suv with make the jump at the end across the gap.
man listen to that B16 and 4A-GE. something newer games couldn't capture, not even NFS itself.
Skyline in this game - one love
So for me based on racing disciplines here it is:
Drag Racing: EVO/Skyline/Imprezza/A3.
Circuit racing: Celica/Skyline/350Z/RX8.
Sprint racing: Civic/206(106)/Celica/RX7
Street X: 86/206(106)/Celica/RX8
Drifting: Eclipse/Civic/Celica/86 (it's powersliding, not drifting)
Personal favourite cars: Celica, RX8, EVO/Skyline, 350Z, 86/106.
Skyline to be honest is OP in Underground series, Supra in both Underground series is medium to crap, Eclipse OP in Underground 1, Celica OP in both Underground series. The best two cars in the series are Skyline and Celica.
Thanks for taking the time to write all these useful details! :)
What about tunning? You can build 2jz with complitly flat torque curve and peak power at last rpm or build mustang with no power under half of rpm and all power over it.
I set the standard with these, so after tuning your car you'll know if you make it worst or better. :))
All the performance settings are on Default.
Bro,when do youre going to be live
@@K.AZMI_editz I'm not sure. I'll do it whenever I catch some free time, usually around 22:00-23:00, Romania time zone, GMT +2, FRIDAY or Saturday.
@NFIGamingZone alright bro i try my best to join the live
@@K.AZMI_editz That would be awesome! Thanks! 😁
So glitching the dyno and popping crazy wheelies isn't a thing anymore? 😢 Arguably the best part about the drag scene in this game..
Here I just set the standard using the default settings so we can know if the car performance actually improved after changing them. :)
Also, I don't remember seeing a wheelie in the drag races even with the NOS right after the start (check my older drag races, about 4 years ago).
Crazy that a starter car is #2
Yeah, I was disappointed by the Lancer, my favorite car from the game. 😂
Good Game.
Yeah. :D
The best of NFS. And good game is MW 2005, The Run, Payback and Heat.
What kind of setup do u use on the cars? I mean what tune? Just default or some custom settings?
I'm just wondering because quiet a few of these cars can do a lot more
Video description.
Like seriously, come on
Yeah, the game isn't balanced. :)
Now I'm doing the best car in a 1 LAP Circuit. Check the livestreams. :)

Nfs carbon next? :)
There are also unique engine upgrades. You didnt install it for the video, right?
I installed everything, including Unique Engine parts. See the livestreams. I streamed most of these cars.
Too bad that game never got a remastered and only got bootlegs that required internet to play solo
Actually Integra is the fastest with tune
The Evo speed 💀

@@Dudu_Gomes.1990 I have no idea. That's the way they work I suppose. All of them are equally tuned. You can see it in the Livestreams I did with these races.
Wasn't there a diablo in the game?
@@TheAstraios No.
I love 240SX ❤
We all know the miata is the best car.😂😂
Of course. 😂
Happy new year
Happy new year!
Nostalgia 240sx...and 350z but lancer evo best sound
For sound I prefer the Impreza WRX Sti. :D
As big smoke used to say, chicken man... no discussion!😂
All that speed means nothing if you cant get through the curves.
Face it: there is (by far) no better car than the corolla.
I would only drive something else for drag race. Everything else the corolla wins
You should definitely have to check the Livestreams with my fastest 1 LAP Circuit Race tests. The Corolla isn't the best one so far. 😂

@NFIGamingZone interesting. I'll check it out
@@Sothros Yeah, I was surprised when I saw that the car handling isn't enough to beat the time I could easily get using the Ford Focus. 🤦♂️😂
The time you'll see in the livestreams and the updates shared on them doesn't mean I won't try a few more times to improve them before making the final video where I'll show MY best time with every car in this 1 LAP CIRCUIT race. So far I was able to improve my Corolla time just by 0.01 seconds. 😅

@@Endslikecrazy Why? I wrote something wrong?
Yeah, cars arent people ^^
Its "Which is the fastest.."
You could arguably even use what but thats getting into semantics to an extent.
You're so kind! Thanks for correcting me! Google translate isn't good at these things. 😅
ChatGBT confirmed that you're right. 😂
"The correct sentence is:
"Which is the fastest car in NFS Underground 2?"
The word "which" is used to refer to a choice among a set of options (e.g., cars in the game).
The phrase "Who's the fastest car" is incorrect because "who" refers to a person, not a car."
@@NFIGamingZone Yeah google translate will usually just literally translate words rather then take grammar rules into account.
So basically made it fair in a sense just engine with nitrous and tuning results can be very different
Yeah, those will add too many variables. Here I just set the standard time, so we can see if it will improve after tuninig it on the Dyno.
Jesus Christ
Z wins
Some of these cars are not tuned to their max potential
I set the standard. READ the video description. How you know you made your car better if you don't know how good it was before tuning? 😂
Gross. Use real speed units.
Funny, my buddy always used the mustang. Now I know why he beat me sometimes.
"Gross. Use real speed units." What do you mean by that? MPH?
Now needed 1/2M
Great idea! 👍😁
When I was in middle school I did all the car testing g on the highways. Supra maxed out at like 278 but the Toyota Celica i topped out at 300 with NOS. No other car could hit 300. But that was just me as a kid playing. I'm sure it could be beaten. 🫡
