Right now is an excellent time to begin offering a home delivery service and get customers signed up to a subscription plan so you can service them over the long term. This situation is terrible for many business owners, but it's actually a huge opportunity for microgreens farmers to step up and serve their community in a meaningful way. The CV talk made me miss New Zealand. Everyday I wish I was sill there. I’m starting micro greens to keep us home and safe. Hopefully I will be able to make a harvest a week or maybe more to eat.

Probably a strange question but: I know you can sprout rice, but can you also grow and eat it as a microgreen?
We will pick up once the economy re opens, I have two out of four places interested.
Thank you both for sharing this great info. I’d like to grow microgreens for my family but am trying to figure out how to start and I did think “oh wow I could sell some”. But I don’t know about licensing & space. We just bought baby chicks & now are building a coop mainly for eggs for us but happy to share with neighbors & possibly sell to a few clients but I’m not expecting that to get big because just doing for our family to have healthy eggs. So glad your businesses are growing during this time. It inspires me to step out in my life coaching more too. I think I just got burnt out on this whole covid news, drama it’s been exhausting. I'm disabled, Still, If my local cities or grocery stores would buy them from me I would do this for extra money but I don't think East Tennessee uses this product.
I would focus on home delivery in your community - even if you can just get 30 customers on a $20 per month plan, that's a decent little bit of extra income each month

For home delivery, how would you charge the customer? A flat rate for a month with deliveries every week? Or do you charge per container?
How do you calculate how much to charge per ounce? For example like , 2ounces of sunflower packaged? What is the pay scale based off?

Hey guys. what do you do when your making deliveries to say a residence and no one is home? Where do you leave the package of microgreens and what about on those Hot days or extreme cold temperatures. Do you bag them ? What's the best process?

I'm interested by becoming a student. I've been watching videos including yours and a few others just to cross reference information. As for business format, I would like to do home delivery. I've been a home delivery guy for most of my career, 9years. I'm 28years old. Being a salesman will be my hurdle. I'm able to step up to the plate and swing but if I get a "No", I just take it and leave. Now, I've only proposed my product twice so I have great potential. I have social anxieties due to being harassed and threatened so I'm battling that. Please get in touch with me and help me out 🤗! I'm definitely willing to take the course.
