Where did you get the tray inside of your biggest box? Around the 11 minute mark.
I got it from my friend! She usually gets them from big box stores who throw them out. Some places keep them and send them back to the plant retailer though

Thank you for this great video! I do have a perlite prop box and the only wet sticks I have had success with is philodendron micans. I hada cup of water inside the box (the box already had air holes ) so I just left the cup in there, sometimes I sprinkle water on the perlite from time to time...not much, but they are thriving so well, so I thought I'd try other wet sticks. But I have failed several times. Like the golden pothos wet sticks I have tried in the same prob box, they only end up rotting...and I just cannot understand why...when the micans wet sticks that are so much tinier thrive so well...why doesn't the golden pothos wet sticks thrive but rots? the box has wheels but is standing on my bathroom floor. I began thinking if it was too humid? do you have any idea why perhaps it's happening. ? any tips?
I have plenty of wet sticks that I want to put in the prop box, but I am terrified they're gonna rot as well...
Sometimes I late the sticks flat if they keep dying when sticking straight up and down. Or making sure to let them callous for a few hours to help prevent stem rot
I am trying Treubi moonlight wet sticks in spagum and I feel like I have so much learning to do they have auxillary buds but not a leaf pushing out yet. They are super slow growers I feel tho. Do you do wet sticks in different mediums also besides spagum? How often do you moisten the spagnum in the box
For those I actually have the best success with just propping in soil. Every one I did in water or any other medium rots and I have no idea why. And I only wet it once the moss starts to dry out and can’t keep itself moist from the humidity in the box
@@KaylasPlants yeah I had a bunch to trim in this situation so it was just a experiment. I mean have you done other wet sticks in other mediums . Thank you for making me feel not alone ❤️❤️

Hey Kayla! What advice would you give to someone who wants to attend a plant swap, but doesn't have any rare plants to chop?
Hi! Great question!! So honestly do not let having no plants to swap stop you from attending! Most people go with the intentions of buying/selling plants which definitely does defeat the purpose but there is the occasional seller who has on their plants “sell/trade” or if I’m a seller I let people know I’m down to swap also if I’m ok with taking more plants home. Sometimes myself and others do say they aren’t really trying to swap at the time just trying to downsize. This is just from my experience at most swaps I’ve been to. It’s called a swap but it’s mostly plants just for sale 😅 make it make sense? I couldn’t tell ya haha but definitely dont let having no plants to swap or no “rare” plants to swap stop you from going and experiencing it. You never know what you’ll find! I hope that answers your question and I know it’s probably like “why the heck call it a swap” lol I totally get that but I don’t have the answer for that one 😅😭
