Here’s another way to swim fast when you’re tired. Want it more. It doesn’t matter how tired you are, if you’re fatigued and or fatiguing at the end of the race push through it want it more than anybody else. Fight your mind and body, push past it, that’s how you swim when you’re fatigued
Underrated comment I’m definitely gonna try this today because I know I’m gonna have a hard set
@@kermitissad408 yes! I’m telling you man it’s a struggle, you’re gonna want to die. But what separates the good from the great are the ones that push that last 100 of the set when you just want to quit. If you can get through it it starts getting easier and you learn so much not only about you’re boundaries but also about how strong you are
@@kermitissad408 tell me how it goes for you!
Hi Fares. Are you doing strength training after or before water? Thanks! Awesome content you make btw😊
Fares, apart from telling you that this video is one of the most useful you’ve done (at least for my intermediate level of swimming) I wanted to ask you to do more videos in which we can watch you training more in detail and thus learn from you. Finally a question: I remember you saying that in breaststroke pull it’s not efficient to shoot your hands forward way above the waterline. You are following your rule but I keep watching Peaty and Qin and they do go way above the waterline. Can you clarify that? Sorry I wrote that much…
Thanks! More videos to come like this in my Race Prep series. For breaststroke, focus on driving the hands forward. You might see some top guys get more out of the water, but you need to keep an eye on where their hips are. They're able to maintain a high body position even when their upper body is so high out of the water.
Thanks@@FaresKsebati
Brilliant video thanks
🎶 track? It’s *Texas Style* by *Tigerblood Jewel* - and yes we are THRILLED to be your trusted provider.

Great workout brother❤❤❤
Thanks :)
Are pools you swim in usually warm or cold?
Thanks Fares for this amazing video... very nice pool as well... wondering if this pool in Dubai???
This pool is at the Warehouse gym in Jumeirah Park, Dubai!
Thanks a lot 💐
My time for 50 meters freestyle is 47.26 which is good I want that to be lower between 26 or 25 seconds If posivle. I get tired really fast and I want to learn who to go fast without being tired even when I'm tired as well. by watching this vedio it's help me alot so Thank you for doing your vedios Have a good day or night.
Work on ur turns and under waters and you’ll be faster
How do your goggles not come off when jumping off the block or even running up into the pool (which my pool would never allow anyway).
I have the so called moulded to your eyes goggles
(which are not that easy to adjust and do leave marks. If loose they flopp off during normal pulls), and they flip open in normal wall push off already easily.
Jumping in...no way for them to stay on and if pulled tight they are super uncomfortable with this small rim. There is a nerve on the upper eye socket (edit🙈) bone and I got severe eye nerve pain from goggles.
Try putting your goggles wraps under your cap, that way there's less chance of water moving them. And with jumping off the block/wall: you have to tilt your head down so your skull breaks the water surface first, and that prevents water hitting directly your goggles. It takes practice. Try filming yourself while block diving.
@@LUMIGOCHA thank you!!
How do distance swimmers taper?
The same way sprinters do - decrease in distance per practice over time. Distance swimmers might do more broken repetitions and more distance that sprinters overall though.
33.37 is insane actually...AND it is just training ;P My result 32-33s BACKstroke at race .... =_= DO NOT RUN IN TO POOL LIKE THAT!!)) You could slip and broke something :DDDD
Thanks! Hope to keep improving over the next few weeks. Tune in to find out :)
I really need grears for resistance training… fuuuuuuuuu
First again!!
How long is the pool? You speak very fast 😂
This pool is 50 meters. Full Olympic size!
@@FaresKsebati you are very good trainiert 💪🏻. Your time is for me in 25 meter 🫣.
