This game is looking excellent. I love the potential for geophysics. I wonder if you could tell the guy running spacesim how you did it! Or maybe it’s also possible in that game and I just can’t simulate enough particles for it.
Question, do you have any idea why my AMD card crashes with basically any amount of particles (seems to work fine with sand, but almost any amount of stone makes it run out of VRAM and slow down my entire computer) despite having 8GB of VRAM? There's no errors in the log, even when it crashes.
@@nikkiofthevalley currently, some AMD cards and all Intel cards are not stable/not work in SST simulation. I am working on compatibility pack but it probably will take a long time (several weeks or ever months). Currently the best way to play SST is using nVidia card. Also, please send your AMD GPU model name
Another great video, thanks for the shout out 😺I look forward to making more maps as more content gets released. I have a suggestion if you're feeling artistic. In SST mode --> Anima Mode, set up multiple Color Gravity objects set to different colors to make cool designs. In fact I will upload a map I made now that shows what it looks like after they sort multiple colors. The paintbrush action works well with that.
Spike Viper, did you know that if you put a powerful magnet into the core of a planet and put metal in space around the planet, the metal gets attracted to the magnet and if powerful enough and enough metal is put into the core then, the planet goes extremely hot
Hey spike try creating a planet with your c distance low and try using metal stone and water to make a planet with a working core and tectonic plates. I can see it working with gravity that is strong with a couple of weaker ones surrounding it keeping everything in the core moving and see if convection currents can happen in the mantle causing tectonic plates to move and the core should have metal stone and water
One time I made this planet where I made lava half as heavy, and I actually had some convection going! I had 1 sun in the middle, 1 going around, forming the edge of the core, and another just to help spread the heat. The material moved from the north, through the core, to the south, then split and moved across the surface to the north again. I did have it be mostly molten but it worked!
Hey, so I have an idea. How about you make a galaxy, and simulate a real black hole in the middle! Or at least the best you can if your up to the challenge. 😏
Before ubiquitous electric lighting, basements in cities used to have thick heavy glass columns that would pipe in light from the sidealk. If you're ever walking around, or watching a movie, and see a bunch of dark glassy circles in the sidewalk in front of a building, those are windows lighting the basement!
Please check out a game called "The Bibites!" It's a life simulation game that is able to simulate anything from A simple herbivore ecosystem with no threats. All the way to a densely packed lush forest with carnivores and herbivores that evolve to compete with one-another!

I'm really love such planet micro physics experiments! definitely need to release more micro drawing tools, copy&paste, presets library etc.
you should add more materials to planet so you can make buildings :)

A little bit of a foundation
Foundation: reaches far into the mantle
A little skyscraper

Even the smaller buildings are bigger than the crust

I love how realistically the lake would actually be the size of an ocean and how the crust would be like 100x bigger than it normally would be
