I have a question
When you turn node gravity on and make a steam geyser like spike viper did, does the planet than travel because of the force like a rocket?
Yes. But very little due to initial of some hundred water atoms s, vs 20 thousand rock atoms. So yes, but it doesn't do to much.
Yes, it acts sort of like a rocket. But most volcanicly active planets (being massive enough to have molten cores) don't feel the effects of their internal mass ejections.

Oh man I would love to buy this game because I love watching these videos and it's so cool but I currently don't have any money as a teenager. Also as a programmer I'm amazed by the efficiency of this simulation.
Spike! Loving the content so far. May I make a small suggestion? I think it'd be a little more interesting if you were more hesitant with the delete tool, there are so many scenarios in this game where super interesting things will just happen of their own volition when given the resources, I'd love to see how many of your 'failed' experiments would have continued to exist when left relatively alone. I can understand if there are performance and quality concerns on the video making end that may result from that suggestion, but I think it would be absolutely enthralling if sometimes you'd just let a little project float off for a while and to see what it would turn out like over time.

I think the inverted planet would work better if you had inverted gravity instead of gravity pulling to the center. I believe that the gravity nodes can be put into a negative value, and the rock( or encase the ring in metal) should be able to withstand the push away from the center since it survived the pull.
One idea for a video:
If you have multiple points of gravity, can you make a planet that is a shape like a square or a triangle? You can see if tectonic plates, volcanoes are able to be done on a planet like that or just having it be stable. I’d love to see that

Idea: Try using inverted gravity objects to form a planet or planet ring. Another idea: You haven't shown anything using the magnet yet which has a lot of destructive potential while they are moving metal around.

You should make a mini solar system if you can or make a moon orbit a spinning planet
Orbits are so slow, spike doesn’t have the patience to wait for the orbit.
The close fast orbits he tried just ripped everything appart due to tidal forces and he just got rings.
More volcanoes! Making a really thick planet then heating pressurizing the inside till natural volcanoes form, and popping planets by letting them cool down

Friction heating would be a very cool effect in this game.

I would like to see if my computer can run this game. Sadly the demo version is broken and does not open. I would like to see the devs pay some attention to this as many people have complained, instead of only focusing on the full version.

@2:55 why not make the planet rotate? Makes it easier. Most of your SST videos, you should try rotating planets. Makes things like making a moon easier.
it looks to me like this game doesn't account for how freezing water can resist freezing if under enough pressure.
