We all know and love the Espada, Aizen's most powerful Arrancar. But there were others before them, who were ruthlessly demoted and replaced. Now, these 'Privaron Espada' live out their days in exile, in the shadows of their contemporaries. While Kubo didn't spend a huge amount of time with them, their position among the politics of Las Noches is truly interesting. Let's take a look at their characters!

Okay I think I botched the pronunciation of Privaron... But it's a learning experience! In other news, what did you think of these guys? Who was your favourite? I'm curious to see if anyone liked Gantenbainne the best... Let me know!
I think their introduction and place in the narrative make things a little bit confusing regarding the timeline of Aizen's plans and his travels to Hueco Mundo, as well as the whole process of recruiting the final top 10. Overall a little bit more of lore about Hueco Mundo could've helped in that regard: like, do the shinigami have historical recordings of clashes with natural arrancars? When was the last time that they encounter a Vasto Lorde? Heck, Yamamoto has a lot of scars so Kubo could've thrown a "this one was made 600 years ago by one of them" or something like that.
Dividing the whole Arrancar Saga into more arcs to give time for these pieces of information to sink, with these guys as main villains in one while having the lurking threat of an even more powerful bunch being recruited by Aizen is an interesting "what if" for me.
I hoped that we would see some scenes of them being in the espada, you know, a little bit of origin story or their past. Of course they are only a small group who arent that important as the current espada, but without their stories, I cant really enjoy them. As for Guntanbainne, he was my favourite, he was the perfect opponent for Chad from all aspects. I wish he returned in tybw, but I havent seen him.
Gantenbainne is my favorite purely because he survived, I hope when the anime comes back he gets to actually do something
Can you make a video on Rudoborn and where he left off to?
What happened to him during all these years lol?
DORDONI IS A DRAGON
"Kill the niño, and let the man be born."
- Dordonii, probably
Crazy enough that sounds like he said it hahaha 😂
Tbh it really sounds like him
Yup dordonii from game of thrones hehe
Plz enough with this Game of Trash
The priviron espada are pretty cool in concept and what they did. Becoming zombies was such a cool move by Kubo
Agreed. The zombies thing was pretty interesting and from left field. Kubo really makes use of so many different types of abilities and styles in what could be a very boring anime of just guys clashing swords.
It's funny to think that Aizen was twirling his hair strand in a rolling chair while arbitrarily deciding who gets to be an Espada because he couldn't care less. Like he makes Barragan #2 just to piss him off and make Hallibel #3 because he vaguely remembered a woman was #3 and genuinely thought she was Nel
You know I've never actually seen a number on barragan
Sounds like Josh Groban
wait is that the actual reason hallibel was named espada #3? XD
@@pepeelghetto1231 Yes. Canonically the reason Stark was #1 was he woke up from a nap and said, "Ugh...I don't wanna fight anyone strong. Just make me number under Yammy." To which Aizen replied, "Perfect, he just decided he was 0 so I guess you're #1. That takes care of that"
@@frozensaber7630 Wtf are you saying, the numbers are directly mesurements of their strengh, that's all
I think that's partially why most of the privaron lost their ranks, they're too generous, Even Halibel has a small hint of a vicious streak. Most of the privaron we've seen ended up being merciful or fair.
Halibel only had that bc she was avenging her Fracciones. She doesn't have it otherwise.
That has nothing to do with it, Stark is the most good one and is number one lol they are numbered on how powerful they were and they were all inferior to even Aaroneiro
@@matteomontanari601true but i would like to mention that even tho stark is technically good,he is still a bad guy because he follows aizen's every order and word
I always liked these guys. Helped expand the villain roster and flesh out Hueco Mundo more. To this day, Hueco Mundo and the hispanic motif of most everything involved there remains one of my absolute favorite parts of Bleach as a whole.
I like all of them, never hated them. Just enjoyed their time in the series
Imagine being Mayuri and recovering Charlotte's body off the battlefield to zombify BUT NOT Starrk the Primera Espada.
We coulda had my boy back in some capacity. :(
even Mayuri feels Stark ain't worth shit
i gess because star not only had his body damaged but also his soul. remember he used it to make the wolfs and many were destroyed. also would you want something that chill but owerfull if you were as crazy as him? XD it would havee been fun to see them interacting tho
Oh he'll be back ;)
LMAO I never thought of that, along with nemu and how he treats his subjects it just goes to show how twisted and perverted his talents made him
It's never confirmed that Stark is actually dead. I think in a data book it lists his status as "unknown"
I’d really like a detailed timeline for when Aizen started going to Hueco Mundo and recruiting hollows to his cause. Was it right after turning his fellow captains and lieutenants into vizards? I’d also like a more detailed timeline on the chronological order of the hollows recruited by Aizen. Who came first and what they thought about losing their rankings to newer additions.
It appears to have been years, at least 20 years before the current events of the story.
Nnoritora asks Nel after she blast him with cero double "How many years do you think you were gone??!" It's possible Aizen had the Espada before he even took over Hueco Mundo, as when Aizen takes Hueco Mundo from Barragan the fortress Las Noches wasn't created yet, implying That Barragan may have been Aizen's first, Yet Aaroniero is said to be the only member of the original Espada still in the current generation indicating Aaronieo was an Espada before Barragan. Another note is that Shawlong is Arrancar 11(Grimmjow is revealed to be 12 in the volumes of the manga) indicating he was the first born thru the hogyoku. Nel's fraccion are revealed to be Arrancar numbers in the 30s, again indicting they were "reborn" after Grimmjow and his fraccion, even though Nel left(kicked out by Nnoritora) Las Noches years ago.
It's possible Aizen was making Arrancar some 100 years before the current storyline with his incomplete hogyoku, but we just don't know. Some Arrancar appear to have been taken after Aizen's public betrayal like Stark and Wonderweiss "rebirth" thru the Hogyoku is shown (Wonderweiss is revealed to be number 70 something). But the vast majority of Arrancar seem to have been already in place.
I'd been wondering that myself, if Aizen started at least 100 some years ago and really played the long game on this.
@@1minion203 I agree wholeheartedly. Like if he was recruiting the Espada a hundred years ago, what have they been doing the whole time they weren’t on screen? You get that suuuuuuper brief glimpse of Di Roy changing the Grand Fischer into an Arrancar right before the Soul Society arc starts, but what else aside from that? I’d love to see that aspect of the timeline explored.
@@kevinlockhart4393 Apparently Aizen had them looking for Vasto Lorde. Nnoritora was seen on a mission to find Vasto Lorde. He went to hollow settlement and destroyed it reasoning that if he was able to destroy the settlement there must not have been Vasto Lorde to which Nel scolds him.
Maybe his incomplete hogyoku had a few iterations before he combined it with Urahara's incomplete hogyoku. If that is the case, the privaron espada may have been created by an early iteration, and the newer versions were able to buff other arrancars to be more powerful than them.
Wasn't Aaroniero part of their generation. I remember Zommari stating that he was the last of the original Espada.
Correct
Yes, indeed.
Indeed, apollo was formely the 0 espada and the strongest even now and the actual 9 was probably primero and the only one who made it to the New espada.
@@elouafimohamed7941 szayel being the original cero espada may or may not be canon, he also isn't stronger than the current generation either
@@jordantinucci3509 I think the Novels are canon. And a zaraki post War did fight a copy of original appolo. But tbf zaraki did not fight all out bankai and evrything but just the fact a copy being able to Handle itself against a post War zaraki is a feat that the actual generation Can't do. But it's just my opinion of course.
At some point it's stated that Aaroniero was the only Arrancar of the pre-Hogyoku era who was still an Espada. That means that at some point he had an higher rank (number 1?) and when the other 9 were kicked out, he was left as the ninth Espada. If Neriel was still an Espada, Aaroniero would have become a Privaron Espada (either number 101 or 109). Neriel herself is, in a certain way, an unofficial Privaron Espada.
Also, Grimmjow basically became a Privaron Espada when Luppi became the sixth Espada.
My guess would be that Aizen had his Hogyoku, arrived on Hueco Mundo and created some Espadas with it, knowing full well his Hogyoku was incomplete and still in the process of understanding Hollowification and similar processes. He made this first Espada to have a better hold on Las Noches whenever he left and "saving" better powerful subjects for the new Espada, ones he would make with the completed Hogyoku. Once he got a fed Hogyouke, he began the process of making the current Espada with the Vasto Lordes he already commanded, like Barragán, and recruit new ones. As I understand the only Arrancar that made the cut was Aaroniero. Had the used the incomplete Hogyoku on Barragán or others, they would have been potentially weaker than their current forms.
Tl;dr: He saved his best units for a better later upgrade. Fire Emblem style.
Glad someone remembered that Aizen had another Hogyouku, he made the first arrancars to be bounty hunters of vasto lordes. Because even weak adjuchas represented a challenge for vasto lordes once they became arrancars.
Cirucci was the one i always liked the most, mainly because YoYos are my favorite type of fantasy weapons.
Also ...........let's just say that there's something about her that really fits my aesthetic 👀
Killua fanboy?
Im pretty sure in a alternate DC timeline, Harley Quin is Yo-yo (her alternate timeline persona), and she uses yo-yo's, do with that info however you see fit.
killua & choji
@@sephikong8323 Are you thinking what I’m thinking
Would’ve loved to see a fight between Cirucci and Shuhei. Just the two of them whipping these giant deadly “yo-yos”
Hisagi has not a yo-yo, his one is an actual weapon lol
Steel chain bondage?
PLEASE do a video at some point on that timeline. I would love that lol
Yeah same, it would be so hard to do for the average Bleach fan, we need something as knowledged as Tommo
Dordonii to me is essentially pride. He prances around like a proud bullfighter and dances and sways like one who really just wants to be on top again.
Always find it funny we identify and feel for the Espada... When they're each ultimately the culmination of innumerable monstrous evil souls...
Hollows aren’t always evil though, so- we see that at the very beginning of the series with Orihime’s brother.
@@labaccident2010 Orihime's brother was inexorably turning evil. He was just killed/released before turning completely evil...
The hollows were the souls of deceased humans who lose their hearts by falling into despair or staying in the Human World for too long (and the shinigami did not arrive in time to "purify" them and bring them to soul society). To fill that "void" they resorted to cannibalism.
Cirucci Sanderwicci was alway my favourite out of the 3, I just love her design and her weapons was interesting. Just wish she got more screen time/backstory
Gantenbane's og form was obviously a Harlem Globetrotter
19:40 Random thought but that orange haired arrancar has a similar ''weapon'' or power to Kensei. Like the whole explosive punches thingy and the fact that the weapons he has in his knuckles resemble Bankai Kensei's ones a lot.
Didn't Zommari Rureaux say that Aaroniero Arruruerie was the last of the 1st gen espadas. So I would presume he was probably the oldest of all the recent espadas.
The fact that aaroniero used to likely be the primera espada is kinda funny
@@lucasscalcon7024 I never thought of that. That's actually hilarious 🤣🤣
@@QrowxClover how the might have fall, i like to think that aaroniero had some sort of pride due to being the last remaining old gwn espada
Uryuu was vicious during this part of the story lol. Sado was there lmao.
Sado gave us the first and coolest glimpse into Fullbringers here. I liked the connection though I did wonder if he was considered part hollow just because he was mexican. All the hollow had hispanic themes, I thought it was race related LoL.
@@shihoblade lol he's also Japanese though. His power and Orihime's were always outliers until like after the visoreds showed up

I remember thinking how STRONG Chad was and how he'll do something amazing after el muerte and...well you know the rest
Chad was probably my favorite character at that point in the story. Then he got turned into a pincushion just to show how strong Ichigo could become. I really wish that Chad and Inoue had remained relevant enough in strength to make significant contributions so that it wasn't just Ichigo and the captains getting the spotlight at the end. Hell, they gave Uryu "The Antithesis" power, so at the very least they could've had Chad gain some kind of power ups by training in Hueco Mundo, like full hierro armor / increased speed.
@@-Keith- I remember when the only frame we get of Chad is holding off some statue looking dudes in tybw and as he's walking, we see as if his transformation goes more around his body and then what happens? We don't even see what he does anymore nor his fight.
@@MrShadow1995. Next time he shows up in the manga is in the epilogue, as a still frame on a TV screen for an MMA fight. Really sad, he deserved more time in the spotlight.
@@-Keith- oh yea I remember that lol, but his last major *fight* was against yhwachs statues wasn't it? When ichigo was making his way to fight yhwach with orihime? Then we got nothing after that panel.
@@MrShadow1995. I believe so.
You have to remember that the Privaron are natural arrancar. The arrancar of the Espada, aside from Stark, are artifical arrancar made of the Hyogyoku
isn't ulquiorra canonically a natural arrancar too?
The fates of Dorodnii and Cirucci were horrifyingly tragic being executed by their own side and then turned into zombie slaves by Mayuri alongside others. Mosqueda's unclear fate adds a degree of mystery alongside the reasons for their demotions, sill they were unique and memorable.
Had to come find this video after reading Ichigo vs Dordoni Alessandro Del Socaccio, that man is such a chad and im so glad that he was the one to introduce ichigo to the espada in hueco mundo. I think having an enemy that wants you to know that you cannot be kind to the hollows you fight. You cannot heal them when they are down because they will kill you at a moments notice. By attacking after being healed and showing that the espada are ruthless, and then defending him against the Exequias, and that little FUCKING SMIRK HE DOES! he gained an instant favorite character moment for me. What an awesome guy.
Its just a shame we never got to see the other Privaron. Cien Granz and Picaro would've been fun to see. Plus any other Privaron we haven't encountered.

As a side note... you look like a cross between urahara and aizen (that's a compliment)
he looks more like haschwalth to me
I wonder if their effect in the reader and impact to the overall story would've been different if Kubo had introduced them earlier in the story during the first invasions, maybe as a form of "test" from Aizen to see if any of them could cut it and come back to the top 10.
I think its because Aizen had made his own hogyoku which is what made him interested in attaining Urahara's Hogyoku
19:20 Gantenbane is such a cool looking guy though. The fact that he lowers his mask like sunglasses.
Would love to see bleach brave souls give him a 5 star character as the other two have 5 star zombie characters lol
Great vid. Cirruci was my favorite for supposedly obvious enough reason like weapon and look; the others are cool too--didn't even know about privaron 102
A hueco mundo timeline video would be fantastic. Thats always been one of the most confusing parts of bleach to me, especially when Nnoitora and Nel talk about their history going years back
I remember when killing Hollows set the souls free in Bleach. I figured, at first, that killing one of these special Hollows would free all the souls “eaten,” yet this is never touched on at this point in the story. I wonder why this idea got dropped, but more importantly, I never felt anything for any of these Espada (unless they got killed by another special Hollow) since when they were killed by a Zanpakuto they were freed. Unless they were killed by a Quincy, Soul Society would get a rush of all the souls that filled a Hollow.
The way I see it, there are 3 generations of Espada created over the course of decades. The first generation (which was made up of the Preveron, Aaroniero and Szayel when he was 10) were made the way we see Grand Fisher turn into an Arrancar. Essentially, Aizen showed them a way to help eachother remove their own masks.
Then, Aizen went on to make *his* Hogyoku and created the second generation which was made up of the likes of Nel, Nnoitra and so on. It was during this era that Szayel lost his rank due to expelling his brother.
Then, after the SS arc, Aizen fed Urahara's Hogyoku to his, creating the complete Hogyoku, and used that to create the 3rd generation which is the likes of Halibel, Stark and so on. This is also why each generation is stronger than the last.
Makes sense to me
The problem with the numbers is that it’s all over place.
If im remembering it correctly .1) 11on down is the order of creation, so Arrancar.11 is the first arrancar.
.2) 3 digit numbers are previous espade but 100 is also number 0
.3) Oh yeah, There’s number 0s. And they are basically sealed til pushed
.4) You can go up and down in rank but it’s not always based on strength. Look at you Luppi
I would have loved to see Dordoni and Ichigo meet again after the war was over and have them talk. I could see Dordoni being proud to see ichigo become the man he is and they would have a little friendly sparring match. ^^
Regarding the Time Line. I've operated under the following
1) Barragan rules Las Noches. Occasionally naturally occurring Arrancar, like Dordoni pop into existence.
2) Aizen (still a captain) overthrows Barragan and collects natural Arrancar to form the 1st Espada
3) Aizen (still a captain) begins using his incomplete Hogyoku to create Arrancar, replacing the natural one in the Espada, and tasking them to find powerful Hollow to join.
4) Aizen obtains Urahara's Hogyoku, leaves Soul Society, and merges the 2 together
5) Aizen uses the New and Improved Hogyoku to create Wonderweiss then merges with it.
You're the best man, thanks for helping to keep the Bleach fandom alive
In my personal headcanon the last number of the three digit number of the Privaron Espada was the highest number in the Espada the individuals achieved; e.g. Dordoni was 103 meaning that the highest ranking in Espada he achieved was Espada Tres.
So I'm happy that it was confirmed :-)
As for when Dordoni joined; you forgot that Aizen created his own Hogyoku. So the way I see it Aizen took over Las Noches, recruited natural Arrancars (e.g. Dordoni), created the Hogyoku and then used it to turn Adjuchas like Grimmjow, Nel and co into artificial Arrancars.
When I was younger I had the biggest crush on Cirucci and that hasn’t really changed.
I actually like Dordoni more than some of the ranked Espadas, and I think that the concept of the privaron Espada as a whole I really cool, so it’s awesome to see an excellent video covering the subject.
I really love the privaron espada as they are really interesting, with Dordoni being my favourite (and coolest looking) but it was a shame they only had one fight each in the arrancar arc and had some moments in the TYBW arc, but it would have been cool if we got some more chapters with them as well as getting to find out more about them aside from their personality traits.
Never clicked so fast ever I love all your videos. I can't wait till you upload every time thanks so much for all you do to entertain everyone. Much respect man
Aizen had a hogyoku of his own long before acquiring the one made by Urahara. He later merges the two. With that being said Aizen I believe took over Hueco Mundo some time around Turn Back the Pendulum.
I really enjoyed Dordoni. His dialogue and antics were great. I look forward to the tybw to see him back.
11:39 agreed. I love how all the arrancar seem to crave a part of this government which aizen just thew up over night.
Imagine if your country were suddenly controlled by a tyrant. Your first reaction probably wouldn't be "well how can i join that tyrant's military". You'd want to preserve your previous way of life, at least a bit. However, Aizen didn't really do that. Prior to him there was just anarchy, and baragan. For the first time in hollow history "kill and eat everyone you see" isn't the only option.
I dunno how fan-theory-ish this is, but imagine being a hollow eating other hollows, then gaining self-awareness and wanting to do something else. Then when you try to talk to your neighbor hollow he also just wants to eat you. Imagine how depressing that would be.
The strange thing is the Privarons' strength might have been retconned in CFYOW. Dordoni and Cirucci were apparently considered as candidates to take Grimmjow's spot as Sexta after he lost his arm, with Luppi ultimately being chosen over them because Luppi had the same Aspect of Death as Grimmjow (Destruction).
Also Neliel replaced Dordoni as Tercera and he got demoted.
This makes the criteria of the Espada ranking...weird. Cos you'd think if the Privaron were weaker than the Espada, Zommari and the others would have been bumped up a rank with the Privaron taking the Noveno/Decimo spot. But since Luppi was actually strong enough to be Sexta (and in CFYOW is actually on par with Grimmjow), you'd think Luppi would have been Septima from the start. Likewise with Neliel and Dordoni, you'd think he would merely be bumped down to Quatro rather than kicked out entirely.
Aizen was really on some fuckery with these ranks.
I always wondered if they were the gatekeepers, or if they just had bad luck running into Ichigo and co, i mean there must be more then 1 way into Hueco Mundo. La muerte, loved the move, although it didn't live up to the name seeing as armadillo boogie man is still around. Great video as always, have a good one.
I think it was mentioned as being Gin's fault, he was changing the pathways of Los Noches
I literally re-watching the arrancar arc right now and I'm currently at this part... wow lol
I like the fight with ichigo and dordonii, it shows us that this isn't gonna be easy at all as ichigo had to go hollow to beat dordonii who isn't an espada anymore and that the espada aren't to be underestimated. It's a good introduction fight to what hueco mundo is.
We got 2 "dance" themed Privaron Espada and a Dominatrix... Cirucci could step on me any time...
Also if I remember correctly, Privaron Espada only lost their ranks because they did or caused something that displeased Aizen. Otherwise their power probably could have grown. Nnoitora was 7th or 8th Espada when he got Nelliel kicked out but he rose to the rank of 5th Espada by the time the Hueco Mundo Arc rolled around.
He is never officially referred to as a Privaron Espada because I think Aizen always intended for Grimmjow to rejoin the ranks of the Espada but when he lost his arm and was replaced by Luppi they constantly referred to Grimmjow as the "Ex-Number 6".. Which when you look at it, I doubt Luppi could even have beaten Zommari and was solely meant to punish and annoy Grimmjow.
2nd chicks yo-yo sword was one of my favs for a long time 😄
Okay. I'm willing to speculate Kubo played Rygar at some point... Cirucci's weapon definitely came from there. Don Panini's design is still pretty awesome imo... But his hollow form must have been something like a bone bird with wings made of tornado's.
That aside, I reckon Aizen had plenty of time to winnow his selection of arrancar down before de-masking them. The privarons didn't get as much of a boost as he demanded methinks.
Dordonni!
9:09 wow this moment is just final getsuga tensho, I guess he did a throwback to this moment in that getsuga moment
Thank you for covering the more niche parts of bleach! You have earned the sub comrade!
I actually don't think the Espada's mindset were representative of Arrancar as a whole.
I think Aizen picked them based on their power and/or wicked nature.
I also think Dordoni and the other Privaron might even have been "natural" Arrancar, who removed their masks on their own, before Aizen obtained the Hogyoku and experimented to create artificial ones with rather insane levels of power.
I seem to recall Stark and Lilynette existing as they were before Aizen found them, and Hallibel seems to value her Fracción in a more human way than the others, suggesting her situation might have been similar to Stark's.
Based on this it's likely that most "normal" Arrancar are basically Shinigami; humanoid souls with spiritual power, unlike Aizen's Espada and Números who were more like Hollows artificially given Shinigami bodies and powers, basically products of a super soldier program.
One prime example of these "unnatural" ones is Wonderweiss; we don't know who he was or what level of sapience he had before being forcibly transformed, but whatever he had, it was sacrificed to empower his unique ability to the point where Ryūjin Jakka's flames became useless.
The Privaron (along with Stark and Hallibel who might be the only "natural" Arrancar among the Espada strong enough to have never been demoted) came to their senses on their own, and removed their masks to obtain a stable humanoid form, while (most of) the modern Espada were allowed to skip the enlightenment step and still transcend the Hollow state.
Ironically, I belive that other than Stark and Hallibel, who might have been Arrancar before being "refined" by Aizen, the cold and calculating Ulquiorra actually got the closest to this enlightenment in his last moments simply because of his inquisitive mind and desire to understand the "heart".
Didn’t Ulquiora also have a humanoid form before meeting Aizen ?

Dude when i first saw the privaron espada i was at a shock, i found them to be so cool, yeah nothing much to them as characters, but the whole thing or being former big dogs, and now being mocked by the newer and buffed gen of espadas, is such a cool concept, i was DYIN' to see a hollow joining up with the gang, a privaron would be perfect, it would be the irony of ''look, its actually a hollow'', and it would have some racial tension, whenever ichigo and the hollow character joined with uryuu and the shinigamis, it would be SOOOO cool, what a bummer that kubo left them to rot as an discarted ideia.
ciruccci was my favourite
Yeah she was very interesting to see fight and nothing else really, my appreciation of this character really only comes from her personality and fighting style, definitely not her looks ...
@@sephikong8323 😂😂 yeah I enjoyed her fighting style as well not her looks at all😅
I've always wondered exactly where these guys fall on the Arrancar power scale at the end of the arc. Obviously below the Espada at the time, but how do they match up against the stronger Fraccion that we see that are too tough for Lieutenants and thus require Captains to defeat them such as Poww, Ggio, and even the Tres Bestias when you consider their ability to create something as relatively powerful as Ayon? They're clearly above the majority of the Numeros/other Arrancar, but are some of the Fraccion of the latest generation stronger than these former Espada and were just never Espada at some point so they're not technically Privaron Espada?
Where exactly does Rudborrn fall in that hierarchy of power too?
And even Luppi is interesting, in the sense of how he seemingly went from unranked to number 6 before Grimmjow takes his place back and kills him. Does this imply Luppi was created after Grimmjow lost his arm and was placed where his reiatsu fit in the Espada rankings or was he just somehow strong enough to be the sixth Espada, but wasn't already seven for some reason?
There are just so many questions about the Arrancar power rankings even outside of always ongoing debate about the Espada rankings and how strong they really are...
I get the feeling that Luppi was given the 6th spot just to piss off Grimmjow, similar to how Aizen gave the 1st spot to Stark to piss off Barragan. I don't think Luppi was really espada material, considering the strengths and abilities of the others.
@@-Keith- starrk is stronger than barragan, stop the cap. He just stands there and hollows DIE. Bruh barragan has minions
@@ophhate The intensity of one's spiritual pressure isn't the straight up indicator of who will win a battle. If that were the case, Starrk would've bodied Shunsui and Ukitake in a heartbeat. Their abilities and how they use them matter just as much if not more. And in the case of Barragan's OP ageing/slowing aura + respira combination, we're talking about one of the most OP characters ever written in Bleach. His respira is a guaranteed 1 hit kill if it connects, and if you get anywhere near him you won't be able to react fast enough to avoid it.
If you're going to stand there and tell me that Starrk would beat Barragan based on spiritual power, that means you have to back up the idea that Yammy would defeat Barragan for the same reason. And clearly that's not the case, considering that he was fairly easily defeated by two captains who were more interested in arguing each other than fighting Yammy.
@@-Keith- no starrk lost in the dumbest way. The black from his hollow hole? Are you serious? If shunsui coukd do bullshit like that why didnt he do that to halibel or any one of the other espada. Oh yeah plot. Anything i say woukd just be headcanon just like what youre saying. The zero espada was just bad writing on kubos part and was just a bad attempt at shock value.
@@-Keith- starrk isnt even a melee fighter. Soi fon is which is why she had a hard time. At most it would be a draw and just be ceros
I wish in Mayuri's reveal, he also brought back other espada too. Imagine Zombiefied Halibel vs Evil Zombiefied Hitsugaya...
She was still alive but imagine a zombified starkk or nnoitra...
Halibel is alive actually
@@jotanzierep1305 i would have loved to see that
Syzel was one of the first if I'm correct and he was split in 2
The original espada were probably around when Ichigo's parents met. By the time Aizen meets with barragan he is already a captain and talks about hollows and Shinigami swapping powers with each other. Prior to that Aizen only knew of hollowfication through the vizards and with the creation of White, he found out that shinigami souls can make a hollow so at that point he probably booted the originals and started using the hogokyou to make artificial arrancars
My favorite Privaron espasa was Jimmy Lightningfist
Man... To think these guys were the original espadas, but were barely vice captain level. Glad Aizen took initiative and replaced them.
I also like how Nel is also a former Espada as well but clearly put on a higher pedestal then these guys.
I would assume that Dordoni, Cirucci, and Luppi were in Szayel’s lab, and Charlotte was also revived because his was the only body left in Fake Karakura Town that was actually salvagable. All the other Arrancar that died in the battle (other than Starrk, who I would assume was too strong for Mayuri to control) were killed in pretty gruesome ways. Nirgge, Abirama, and Findorr had their heads destroyed, Barragan and Ggio were destroyed completely, and Komamura seemed to have split Poww down the middle, whereas Yumichika left Charlotte’s body fully intact.
Not related to this video, but i thought a fun mini series for you would be to check out the fun (or in a lot of cases not fun) world of bleach games.
Damnit, I *needed* Chad and Gantenbainne to become bros who train to together 😭
I kinda wished the Sternritter had a lower rank similar to Privarons. Quincy who weren't that powerful but not as weak as Lieutenants.
25:03 this picture makes me imagine don kanonji and picaro singing Dirty Harry 😂
They felt intentionally disposable not only as jobbers for the heroes to establish and at the time thought was foreshadowing , Aizen having a bunch of strongest Arrancar hidden away from who we have already seen.
They were fun characters though
Also, this reminds me that it was a big missed opportunity not making Chad an Arrancar
He was somehow pulling reiatsu from the sand, his body parts looked like
Making him a Fullbringer was kinda weak
The guy Chad fights turns into an armadillo in his released form.
Chad is my favorite character in the series, and he just gets sidelined so hard. I get it, favoriting a support character in is asking for it. But he could have had more.
Agreed
Dordoni is cool and so was circucci but I did like that Chad had his own fight.
13:34 i never even thought about that, so thats why he isnt bothered by attacking her, because he knows who she is and probably hates her.
technically, Grimmjow, Luppy, and Nel are that too, though that would mean we have multiple 103, and multiple 106.
Dordonii is probably my new favorite I remember him faintly but as a teenager I was edgy and brash but now I'm lot more pragmatic in personality and he is very pragmatic and realistic character
I really love your Bleach analytic and Bleach discussion video's, you really deserve more love for it, and can you make a video where you discuss which Espada's are truly evil and which ones are maybe even they are on the bad side but they might still be good hearted, because i don't believe all Espada's are truly evil, ofcourse they are born in Hueco Mundo. but they also might be on the Espada team, because they might be as Stark and Lillinete be lonely, or like Hallibel have a belief that sacrifice is always required to achieve your goals, personally i think that this is a really interesting topic to make a video about because they might be Espada's because they are evil, or are some of them actually good hearted with no choice but joining the Espada's?
The Arrancar/Espada timeline is super hard to pinpoint and sadly I gotta blame this on Nel. We know Aizen took over Las Noches sometime within the last 100 years since he was a lieutenant up til that point at least. Dordonii states that after Aizen obtained the Hogyoku their time was basically up. But Aizen created his Hogyoku before he became a captain and only got Kisuke's recently. So at what point was Dordonii replaced by Nel? And then Nel I'd beaten by Nnoitora who was the 8th at that point so clearly this couldn't have been just a few short months after Aizen got Kisuke's Hogyoku, this must've been years...it's seriously confusing.
Aizen used his incomplete Hogyoku to make the second generation of Espada.
@@RickyUzumaki993 I know that much but Aizen didn't take over Las Noches til both Gin and Tosen were Captains as seen in Barragan's flashback. And by that point he already had his incomplete Hogyoku as he used it to offer Barragan more power, yet that completely contradicts Dordonii saying he was there when Aizen obtained the Hogyoku. So unless Espada predate Aizen I don't know what to think. And I doubt they do cause Grimmjow basically says the title means nothing with Aizen gone.
Opened brave souls while watching this video turns out it’s Dordonis birthday today, the internet is weird
14:55 aizen was experimenting with his own hogyoku. he told kisuke's to lvl it up
Is there ever going to be a video ranking the arrancars similar to sternritters.
Do you need to rank them though? They are already ranked, aren't they?
@@kelnmiirkageoni1667 the fraccions are all over the place in terms of power with the number of espada giving a idea plus there are characters like Nell, Luppi and possible privaron espada whene it comes to the weakest three espada so there could be a intrestinb disscution there plus the espada are rank by there riatsu not by power itself so it's very to shuffle the espada around.
If I recall correctly didn't Aizen create his own hogyoku but it was incomplete?
He needed the second one that Urahara created to make the complete one we see him with at the end of the series.
Playing off of the whole two sides of the same coin these two characters had. Both created one with different means and got the same yet somehow different results.
This would explain why some of the privaron Espada got kicked out later. Aizen didn't have a complete Hogyoku until the end of the soul society arc. Maybe the privaron Espada who were kicked out were the original test subjects for his incomplete Hogyoku.
We know Aizen was creating it when Gin was young and Aizen was still a lieutenant, so it gives us a bit of a wider time span for how long each Espada might have been on power. Which can be narrowed down even further after Aizen became a captain.
Dordoni (hope I didn’t butcher the spelling) actually seemed like he could’ve had more done with since the guy honestly seemed like Fujitora from one piece in regards to personality in that dordoni would get the job done but still draws the line at certain aspects
Your so good at just talking and making shit interesting
Dordonii has the best name
5:48 It would actually be very interesting to hear out what designs you consider underwhelming.
Ah yes, the tales of Don Panini, Chewy Sanderwich and Jimmy Lightning Fist...
Its likely Gantenbainne was based off martial artist jim kelly. Similar appearance and emphasis on cqf
- puts on detective hat.-...
This man likes Bleach.
Wait, Dordonii was the 3rd Espada?
I don't know why, but I always assumed the numbers added up to their old rank. So 103 = 1+0+3, so he was the 4th...
I have no idea why I thought this, and have no reason to have. I just...did.
Apparently Gantenbainne actually worship Barragan as God, which is neat in a way.
When Aizen takes Hueco Mundo from Barragan, is before the SS arc, he's been there for years.
I figured the Privaron Espada were Baraagan's Espada who were then demoted when Aizen took power with the exception of Aarenero who become Espada Number 9.
That would actually make sense, they lacked loyalty towards Aizen, but he still kept them around because they were useful
