I'd be surprised if there was ore than $70k of net income. On a $400k investment, kinda sucks. Franchising could be interesting for him, but existing business is nothing special imo. CNBC loves to make the revenue seem like income for clickbait.

My goodness!! I'm plant-based, but this does not stop me from saying that this is a wonderful accomplishment. Amazing determination, vision for a franchise, and a good way to put one's love of food into a business model of their choice.
There is so much to learn from Ali about building and expanding a business. It's quite phenomenal to start with a $60K personal investment in 2020 and grow into a business with potentially 50+ franchises. Truly impressive.

He pays himself a salary, his wife gets paid salary, they could claim a lot of expenses on the business, and the franchising route is where the big money will come in. It's still remarkable achievement

Our economy struggling with uncertainties, housing issues, foreclosures, global fluctuations, and pandemic aftermath, causing instability. Rising inflation, sluggish growth, and trade disruptions need urgent attention from all sectors to restore stability and stimulate growth.
Things are strange right now. The US dollar is becoming less valuable because of inflation, and other powerful nations waking up to trade in their own currencies. Good thing is, a lot of people still turn to the Dollar because of the safety is somehow assures. I'm worried about my retirement savings of about $420,000 losing value because of these factors and more. Where else can we keep our money?
It's unfortunate most people don't have such information. I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $21k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Doesn't matter if the economy is misbehaving; great wealth managers will always make returns.
There are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Aileen Gertrude Tippy” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
What's the profits though? Restaurants are known to be very high margin, with employee costs he'd be doing well at $70k profits annually for 10% margin

Hi, Thank you for asking this question. No, the landlord is not a partner or get a cut. He contributed towards his building renovations like installing brand new AC unit, grease trap, impact fees and towards TI $. he didn't invest in BMB but we are blessed with an incredible landlord who helped contributing toward his building renovations that helped us immensely.
He works 50 hours in the store per day and additional 2 hours per day at home on social media

I wonder if people that experienced the 2008 crash had it easier because this market conditions are driving me to insanity, my portfolio has lost over $27000 this month. alone my profits are tanking and I'm don't see my retirement turning out well when I can't even grow my stagnant reserve.

$739k in revenue is not enough to be successful. Any business must make 1-2 Minimum a year. A bad day should be 2k/day - not your average. His profit will be well below $100k a year. Their saving grace is the franchise model and a great brand name. The bread on those burgers looks sloppy, that's why he is able to sell at a low price.
It’s already a success, most business don’t do 739k a year. It’s room for growth for sure, but he is already a success.
