I go walleye fishing in northern Ontario in the summer and what you want to use in that lake is a homemade spinner used with beads a blade and a weight then back troll with them and you’ll catch walleye, saugers, northern pike, maybe even perch or smallmouths
What weight Jig do you use most often ? What size line do you Jig with lbs test and Brand ? I am also wonder how much current you fishing in 2-3 mph ? Thanks
I often will hook one of the treble hook ends of the stinger into the split tail. It hides the stinger a lot better and if it's loose I find the Walleye want nothing to do with it. Tbh I've had the same amount of success without a stinger hook but there are some days it helps
I have done away with the stinger. The stinger gets caught up on the line or tail, fouling the action, also gets caught up in the net, foul hooks more fish, and is 3 more hooks to snag rocks, boat carpet, other rods, etc.. Very few of the walleye I've brought in (aside from belly hooked) actually had the stinger in the mouth. Stingers are more trouble than they're worth...as far as I'm concerned.
that is alot of walleye you caught ,so I should try that.
Good tip you don’t see many tried and true methods in these shorts so thank you
Do you leave the stinger hook loose on there or do you put one of them in the soft plastic?
I usually tip the stinger on the tail for a more stealthy presentation
@@emanuelblaga4142 ok thanks for the tip.

do you use a minnow on the end for wallwye or just the lure
One thing we do a lot is we use flashabo stingers, produces alot more bites on those slow days
Recently in Lake Erie a lure called NASCAR really produced results..
Do you leave the treble hook loose or do you hook on of them into the minnow tail?

What size weight
Can you provide me the link for that exact hook and bait sir
What size jig is that ?
Be sure you pick the correct collar depending on what water you’re fishing
Thanks for the good game 😁
I’m assuming this is not for fishing in weeds 😂 what depth are you catching these walleye in?
Fish the edge of the weeds.
Thanks

Went fishing at a lake up north. Fishing was really slow but managed to catch 10 fish - 9 on the stinger...
The stinger got it done for my dad and I last weekend! It’s on my page if you’re interested!
How do u fish that though???drop shot?
I would guess just cast/retrieve with twitches or bottom bouncing
Will try
hi where we can buy that jigs? thanksss
I find them at canadian tire or cabelas/bass pro
Just tie a piece of line onto a treble onto the eyelet of the first line tie. Your welcome.
You should put affiliate links!
Holy shit dub😂😂😂❤
Good only if you plan to keep them right? Seems like a method that might cause to much damage to release if swallowed?
Do you have a neck, also, thanks for the tips
😮
I see 19 walleye in that photo yall better have had ~5 ish people on that trip
Great comment...
color always matters to water clarity.
Have you seen the fish this guy is catching, I dont think it matters.
@@TuckerG318 They are snall compared to mine.
If you hook it in the tail, that ruins the movement of the bait itself
Do you troll with this?
What happened to tying your own trailers. And I'd recommend not using a treble
HAHAHAHA thanks for the tip evana4111😂😂😂
i think that's not legal in Michigan u can only use single
Not true, stinger hook is legal in Michigan
I want to catch walleye(s) instead of walleye.
Why put your bait on a stringer?
Can't you see that the bait is on a jig? Smh 🙄
You know you’ll catch more fish in a boat on the lake than you would in your living room making how to catch walleye videos.
Oh so free help is off-limits, right?
How is keeping that many legal 😂 in my province it's 1 per person but it's usually 0 in most lakes!
