questions I have to ask myself before buying something:
- are you in doubt about? if yes, don’t buy it
- do you have to alter it? if yes then don’t buy it
- is it something you feel is missing in your wardrobe when you get dressed? if no, don’t buy it
- will you mend it if it breaks? if no, don’t buy it
- can you afford it? if no, don’t buy it
- do you have something in your wardrobe that serves the same purpose? if yes, is it something that you find you need more of? if no, don’t buy it

The question "will I mend it if it breaks?" is so great! I find that with fast fashion I will find every reason not to mend it! or ill mend it only to give it to the thrift store :(

The other day I really wanted these COS trousers, even went in store and tried them on. They fit really well, but they weren’t on sale and I was in doubt about spending money on them. But… I do regret not buying them because I thought about it for a week and when I went back in store they were sold out. Never happened before!
aw I’m sorry that’s so annoying. can you find them second hand maybe? hate when that happens though, for me it’s mostly with thrift store stuff
Leather loafers are a nicer shoes option. There are even leather loafer-style slip-on sneakers for an even slower transition.
