- Small tip on axles and finally removed air and exhaust manifolds. Now I can take the turbine to restoration and start fitting everything back. So one step closer to body stuff.

I doubt that July, but by the end of the summer I believe I can test something out :) Currently started work on freshening up the engine bay and waiting for some bolts for engine. When both of those things are done, then I can combine both, finally! Cant wait :)

Yeah, the weather is much better, otherwise I think that this wind is trying to destroy my tent. Already have messed up door one side, you can see it is held on duck-tape 😅 Need to hurry up with restoration so if the sucker gets blown away I don't care that much 😂
my grandfather have one. still with running conditions. but not so mint. Parts are hard to come by so maybe ill do it in one or 2 years
I bet it's more rusted then anything else. Main issue usually for these units is rust and mostly in the back. I really hope if you get around of restoring your granddads Patrol, my videos help you at least a little. Mainly that's my goal, to help. As you can see I'm no big channel :) I just do this for fun and to help. Hopefully next week I will have a new video. If you don't mind asking, where are you from?
@@thecrazylatvian haha, not quite so rusty but idk, never had a full haul or restoration. I'm from Malaysia, here its not called Patrol but Nissan Safari. Good luck on your restoration. Original parts are hard to come by here. Everyones a toyotas fan, There was only once ive seen another nissan Patrol of the same model here.
WoW Malaysia 😮 That's a pretty place, hope to travel there one day. Anyway, yeah, sounds like it could be a bit of a problem with parts. Here in Latvia we still have lot of older cars, so for now it's no problem to get parts. I really hope I manage to finish this project 😃
@@thecrazylatvian If you ever have the chance to visit, post-covid19, just give me a message. Will be happy to show you around. Here, the wagon patrol is not quite popular, but landrovers, jeep and the likes are a lots. Our forest are very dense so no ones gonna drive a full size patrol wagon here.
Thanks for invite 🙂 In dense forests it is a pain to drive a wagon. Even here I struggle some times, where shorter cars pass no problem, I need to make 10 point turn 😄

@Khurram Masood Tell you the truth I feel terrible not posting anything for over a month :( This heat is killing me! But as a small update I painted the engine bay. Also got my turbine sorted, now I'm just waiting to get all the seals and bushes for turbine, then I can assemble everything back together. Also I decided to change all brake lines on rear axle, so waiting on those also. Really thanks for interest that means the world to me! Plus my notifications for some reason isn't showing that people are commenting 😰

Yes, sorry I was gone for so long. I just today finished setting back up my turbo, I believe I messed up everything, I need to make the video, I have everything :) I believe I wont wait till Friday to post it. I will try to make it tomorrow and post on Monday or even tomorrow after finished.

I hope I wont get in to engine too much, but that is good info. Because you newer know what might happen and I might need it.
