I was the 1000th like! 🎉 👏 also just wanted to drop a comment of appreciation for breaking down these features… most of us are in such a hurry to get out of the dealership so we don’t even know literally anything other than how to turn on the car, release park brake and shift gears 😆
Great Video. The owners manual can be downloaded it is easier to read. Learn things like pumping at least 3.5 gallons of gas and wait 5 seconds before removing the nozzle and the correct way to go through a car wash. If you hit D twice without the brake you get accessories on to play with the settings while the motor is off. I'm still reading the manual only had my 2023 sport a few days. All this is new to me. These videos are priceless. The sales guy knew it in and out because his mother owned 2 Honda's. Bought used from a Ford dealer trade in. It's like new.

Great video! I have a challenge for you to add to your video: how to set a passenger memory setting as the default? There are two buttons marked as “1” and “2”. On of them will be set as the default when you turn on the car. How do you set any of them as the default instead of always choosing #1?
If you forget to put it on park, when you open the door, it'll go on park. You must press the neutral button twice and hold it to stay in neutral, like car watch
Yes it does, when you have the door open while the vehicle is in drive (without foot on the brakes) the vehicle does shift to park. Thank you for sharing this feature with the community!
Can I keep my 2024 Odessy running w the A/C on and lock the doors. I make a lot of quick little stops and my dogs are in the back seats. PLEASE ANSWER ASAP. I just got it yesterday. The only thing I don’t like is the “fab”. I’m old school. The thing doesn’t fit in my very small purse. Had a 2013 Sienna before. Wrecked. Hit from the front and back. A bit more technologically advanced that our 2004 Odyssey! I appreciate that one can deactivate the "adaptive" feature on the cruise control. We have it on our Subaru and it drives me nuts.
@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 I tried bypassing the Adaptive feature on my 2015 Subaru Forester today and it seems to work. Dug through the vehicle's manual and couldn't find this discussed. Can't wait for our next road trip. A new Odyssey is still at the top of our list for our next vehicle though.

It seems that all of the sudden our 2020 Odyssey Elite has turned the volume up really loud when we get a phone call to the phone connected via Bluetooth. Any ideas on how to remedy this problem?
There could be a few items. 1) some phones have a bluetooth volume settings. 2) check for a setting under system settings. 3) try adjusting the volume on the steering wheel while the phone it ringing

What an amazing review! Please help. Can you add the "handsfree tail gate" option to an Odyssey that doesn't have one such as a Touring or EX-L model? I've read you can and the part is available OEM through Honda for about $350 and labor to install it at the dealer is about $200? can you confirm if this is possible? Thank you!

The most important tip about this van... Always carry a tool box, because when the engine inevitably takes a crap you'll need a tool box to remove half the crap under the hood just to get it into neutral. (You absolutely CAN NOT put this PoS in neutral if the engine isn't running)
How do you reboot (not reset to manufacture default) the infotainment system in 24 odyssey? There is tons of forums online saying pushing home button and audio button etc and none works for me. Thank you
@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 my 24 odyssey audo froze when was "initializing" from USB after I turned the car on. It got stuck on one song and wouldn't let me change it. It wasn't playing eaither. Like a broken record. Similar thing happened when trying to switch from a AM station to FM station.
Tip 7 only works if the key fob is nearby when the doors close. If you walk away while the sliding door closes, you will likely be too far and the van will beep 4-5 times to let you know the van cannot locate the key fob and it won't lock the doors.
Can anyone tell me how to operate the side door sunshades?!? The clips are there but is the shade hidden inside that slot on the door or something? I can't find the sunshade at all and can't figure out how to get it to come out. Thanks so much if you can tell me!

I know that some older models have a media button that allows you to connect your Bluetooth for music. If not available on your vehicle, you can het a 12-Volt Bluetooth Adapter.

For tip #2, you still had to turn the car off to turn off the daylight running lights. I thought there was a way to turn them off WITHOUT having to turn off the vehicle.

Are you walking in with both keys or just one fob?

@@danielcrespo9124 it presets based on which key is in the car. When both keys are in the car, it defaults to the key closest to the driver seat.

The Elite trim has the speaker button that allows you to talk through the speakers while the lower trim is only through the headset.

Power folding mirrors are only on the elite trim and they don't fold via key fob. Although, I would love to be proven wrong.
My gas range seems off ! Just put gas within 5 min went from 361 to 344
The fuel range is all computer generated that will learn from your driving habits and driving conditions. It will vary with time and mileage.

These are pretty much computers on wheels these days. When rebooting a computer you will shut it down/turn it off for 30 seconds then turn it back on.

Check Engine Light can be anything from small to huge situations, you can get a code scan to see what is triggering it

First you set the seat in the position you want.

There could be many programs or settings in play without seeing it in person. I would contact your sales person
