Expat here (Buriram)… I’m wanting to start making UA-cam travel videos in Thailand… Could you please tell me the kind of drone you use or recommend? And any other gear? I’ll gladly donate to you for your advice. Thanks 🙏
Not even 10 minutes in and felt emotional watching this. You never really think about Antarctica but when you see this video it brings out emotions you never thought you’d feel regarding the continent. Is there a video with the travel details for anyone who might be interested? Thanks for this beautiful video.
Que hermosa experiencia, un lugar único en el mundo que es necesario preservar para las generaciones venideras. Creo que lo han disfrutado, así como nosotros al ver este video. Saludos!!
What an incredible journey! I get emotional just watching these videos, so I can only imagine how it is in person!! I hope to get there someday, and witness this myself, it's on my bucketlist! Thanks for sharing this beautiful continent with us!❤
This is unbelievable and very emotional. I can see why people and yourself are just amazed by this incredible place on earth. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
OMG! I’ve watched many videos on this topic and yours has blown me away! I have subscribed and I cannot wait to watch this entire series. Thanks a million for taking me on your incredible journey!
I don’t know why but I found this series really emotional! Antarctica is on my long list of places I want to visit if money ever allows. Thank you for giving us a window into that world 🥰
Did you go to South Georgia Paddy? Incredible video. I visited the Arctic with the competition, a spent a small fortune buying Woolen clothing, but it sure kept we warm and you dont have to wash it very often since they dont stink on a 14 day excursion. Pity they didnt let you keep the jacket, they look great, plus its advertisement, never heard of the company you went with. Great video.
Another great episode. I love that the penguins make you smile too. Such an amazing bird. See Paddy karma works, the reason the weather was perfect for you and not the rich folks 555. We would have loved to see you take that Polar Plunge that would have been a hoot. Bring on the final episode I can't wait.
Thank you for the amazing and unbelievable footages Paddy. No words to describe how beautiful is and how greatly you presented your experience . The next one on our bucketlist. We keep an eye on every single of your videos. Keep up and thx again. 🇮🇪
Thanks a mil Paddy! As the subscriber who hardly says anything beyond liking and showing other ppl your stuff, Thank you, Ke a leboga (Setswana, South Africa) for helping me discover yet another ecosystem that reminds us what we are part of, what we lucked out on, the beauty we're an extension of, and what it takes to respect it, so we can maintain and enjoy. I've followed your Southeast Asia journeys and have loved the diversity, effort and thought put into each one. Thank you! While I have thought of Iceland and even some parts of Alaska and Greenland by chance, as a South African, this helps me add an Antarctica to my list. I respect and honour the fact that you decided that there were times to just be present in the moment - this is the core reason those of us who travel do it; to explore, to discover new worlds (very specificifically for ourselves) and to reconnect to the planet and what it has to offer, anew. Love and respect from down South!
It was so beautiful! I now don't have to go there! I am working in ecological farming and that is the best thing to do for me on earth. So I watch all your adventures and I can hold my footprint quite low. Thanks!
Loving your thoughts and words on this one mate. My number one bucket list and it's lovely to see you there and experience it through your eyes for now. Cheers mucker ❤
Absolutely memorizing! Even through video I get to overwhelming sensation that mountains and snow does not simply equal the experience of a trip to Antarctica and that it's just so much more than that.
Great job. Spectacular video! Coincidentally my mom's older cousin and her husband went on a similar trip last week. He even did the polar plunge! Anyway, great work, and what an amazing experience.
Outstanding experience and breathtaking beautiful Antarctica - what a magical place on our Earth !it must be your most unforgettable travel with lovely companie Paddy D.😍 i'm fortunated to see the most fantastic animals in this series - Thankyou so much Paddy ! ❤
Amazing. I have to ask though, should we be able to go to these pristine places? As humans, we have a tendency to mess them up. Will this place end up being super touristy? The thing that came across here was how immaculate it is right now. It scares me a little to think massive tourist boats are going there.
INCREDIBLE! How beautiful, and what a peak experience! Just watching this makes me want to take my son on a trip to Antarctica. Thank you for taking us along on this amazing NEXT LEVEL Adventure!
It's hard to get much more next level than Antarctica and your photography and your commentary definitely support that! You might just have to go to Mars next in order to top this!😂
@@81craw Thanks. Just had a quick look and the numbers are all over the place. A lot of sites say the 2022-2023 season had the highest number of tourists at just under 105,000. Still probably more than I would expect, but also a miniscule number of people in a world of over 8 billion. One site said about 33,000 Antarctic cruise passengers never get to go on boats to stand on the landmass either, so going ashore puts you in an even smaller number of people. Awesome life experience all the same.
Beyond perfect!! What an amazingly gorgeous part of our glorious world. Wow. 🥰 It would be hard to be sad there but I know not being able to camp out overnight was probably crushing. And even though I really do not like being cold, I think I would have done the polar plunge.... 😂 I wouldn't have warmed up for days but when in Antarctica..... 😁
Hiya Paddy. 2.50 gave me goosebumps. The scenery is epic and so beautiful. Wow. Seeing the penguins so close. An amazing experience. Definitely magical. The views are insane. Seeing the humpback whale. I am grateful for your adventures. Something I will probably never experience. I am very envious. Amazing to experience this with some great friends. Oh my, that must be some cruise costing up to 40 thousand dollars. Just goes to show that it does not matter how much you spend. Your experience has been spectacular. Scary how global warming has affected things. Paddy. Do you regret it now, not jumping into the water?. Once-in-a-lifetime experience. I must be honest and admit. I probably would not do it. Go, Karl. I bet that was a little too much watching the leopard seal. Eating a penguin. The morning sunshine. Makes it look even more magical. Paradise. For sure. The penguins are my favorite. Learned something new today. I did not know jellyfish could live in cold water. Amazing trip. So lucky to see so much beautiful wildlife. Beautiful footage. Amazing drone footage. Beautiful video. Thank you for taking us along. Micheal. Navigating. LOL. I can not wait for the next one. Thank you. Loved this. B E A U T I F U L. Have a wonderful weekend.
I spent 3 years working on one of those cruise ships as navigation officer. It is like another world but also alot more dangerous than most passengers realised, we had a couple of really dangerous siruations.
Growlers, very very dense old ice just barely visable bobbing in the surface but could be dangerous to hit head on. Another vessel, i think it as the Lindblad explorer hit a freak wave that destroyd the windows in the front and flooded the bridge with water, she drifted helplessly for a long time before they managed to get her going again. Once when all our passangers were landed on an excursion ashore, the wind unexpectedly turned and filled the little bay with ice so the zodiacs almost didnt make it back to the ship, they would not have survived the night i think. Once when at anchor a dense icebergs drifted in to us an damaged the propeller. And yes sometimes the waves in those lattitudes become totally crazy, the call it the roaring fourties and the screaming fifties. I.e because you pass the southern 40-50 latitudes. But a magical place though.
Loved this video. Reminds me of my Antarctica expedition last winter. Did you really not wear waterproof pants? I was also signed up to do the overnight camping and we too never found a suitable place. Very disappointed BUT I did change it over to do some kayaking which was awesome. Oh, and I did do the polar plunge...on December 31st to ring in the new year (2023).

I visited Antarctica in 2015 and it was, by far, the best experience I've ever had in my life...
Itś great that your video places us as an observer, and let us see the place, instead of shooting a bunch of social activities.
Not even 10 minutes in and felt emotional watching this. You never really think about Antarctica but when you see this video it brings out emotions you never thought you’d feel regarding the continent. It’s great to see wildlife that doesn’t fear man…because they’ve had so little exposure to man that they don’t need to! Cheers

What a ridiculous experience that must have been. So few people ever go there it must have felt so special and very surreal.
170000 people per year

I've been to places only a handful of people have ever been😝
